At first i heard it from my highschool days in the Philippines air waves, thought it was a foreign band. But its not, they are Filipino. Very proud to be a Filipino.
I cant forget this song especially the chorus, I feel a slight pang in my heart. I can listen to it even If I grew older,, i recently know that this is a filipino song but I’m very familiar with it since i was young coz ive been hearing it in every radio station and also first time to know that this is EZ Mil’s Dad
This song" Parting Time" had been famous in the year 1993 and they got a Platinum award and yeah it's Ez mil's dad Paul Sapiera the lead vocalist and guitarist of this bond Rockstar
That time its Band dominating the philippines song chart, 90s was the decade for the band in philippines. Look for "Mahal pa rin kita" and "Sinta" by them, its good too...
Even if I have been listening this song for almost 30 years (Parting Time was released in 1993), I never get tired of it ever. A lot of 90s songs are really great in my opinion. 👍
Paul Sapiera is based now here in Hongkong still doing music...check his latest song "HOME NOW". Check out EZ Mil RESONANCES EP where he sings as well not just rap.
The Band Rockstar Arkasia will always be among the best rock bands in the Philippines. Please, Samantha, try to listen to the song 24 Hours or Back to Me by the band Cueshe. Thank You
no swear words needed, emotions of the artists are conveyed straight to the heart of the listener because the artists wrote their own songs and are derived from their real life experiences, they often opted not to include colorful words because the emotion of the song is plenty colorful already.
Ez Mill, dad is a lead vocalist of Rockstar, one of the most popular band during 90's, he was 22 then, same.with EZ he is 22 both of them.same.age that hit there song. His Dad is a.songwriter and arranger of song so many songs.
Parting time by Rockstar a big hit in the 90s, until now this song still dominates the Philippine airwaves. Sounds foreign and perform by foreign artist. But its not ,its an OPM original pilipino music. Proudly Philippine made and 100% filipino.
That guy (the lead vocalist) don't like the name Rockstar as a band name..but he agreed because of his love for music.. Born in 87 and grew up listening to that song.. i listen to late 80's to early 2000's country.. the songs of those times were meaningful..
We have the same point of view in music. What makes them different from oldies songs to todays music is the way they were made. Oldies are lot more meaningful, in each were written with emotion and passion. But most songs nowadays are crap, some don't even have decent lyrics at all.
In Philippines, singer and composer. Remember father of EZ Mil of Rockstar in the 1990's. Reminishing my high school days I love it and feel relaxing. =D
I subscribe because of this ❤️ first youtuber i saw that made a reaction about 'Rockstar'. Their songs are not easy to sang. Still, they're one of the best. Much Love.
What you hear is what you get.. Nowadays, if i hear singers on the radio, I will not admire them immediately until i heared them singing live unlike the 80's and 90's era were auto tune was still not being used..
Love your reaction, relating to the meaning of a lot the songs nowadays. So glad you share songs from the past with your daughter and so smart and good appreciating them. This song is an OPM (Original Pilipino Music), very nostalgic hearing this again over TH-cam. Thanks for considering this type of music in your channel every now and than 🥰💯
Paul Sapiera was really good...One of a kind singer ... Aside from him I never admired any singer or band. Try to react as well to Endless Rain, one of his song way back in 90s.
I'm so glad that you notice some Filipino talents, although it's only hear locally but I would ratherly say,the best breed of singers were found in the our country Philippines.i hope you don't mind if I'm bragging our Filipino pride.

Same as me. Palagi kong naririnig sa videoke yan. Dk alam na pinoy pala kumanta nyan. Palaging kinakanta ng mga pamangking ng asawa ko yan hangang ngayon.
I completely agree with you. Most songs today feel empty and have no substance. Old songs, however, hold so much nostalgia and meaning.
At first i heard it from my highschool days in the Philippines air waves, thought it was a foreign band. But its not, they are Filipino.
Very proud to be a Filipino.
