These are the gospel greats, J.D. Sumner (1st video) and Ken Turner (2nd video).
Second clip is with subharmonics starting from 1:57 so it's quite easy to go lower than the first who sang in full voice :) Ken Turner is a master of subharmonics. JD isn't the best singer, but when you ask how LOW you can go, he goes the lowest :D
The second group: I think he was the sailor from that nursery rhyme that went to the bottom of the sea to find them notes, brought them back up, and tried to sing them 😂 lol 😂

Idk man. JD Sumner has amazing chest range on the low end. But then again those chest notes are no where near as loud as Ken Turner's subharmonics. But it's not like Ken Turner can hit those notes with chest.
Ken Turner was cleaner on the deep base notes. Yes they both struggled, but he held it together without losing his tone. Kinda sound like a burp 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Actual Deep notes id say JD Sumner buuuut his voice is kinda like a heavy smoker... and due to that you can go lower than a non smoker.
Wheras Ken Turner has a natural Deep Voice without that 'smokey effect' and more actual Bass in his voice with some bassy higher notes

Funny you said that. The group in the first video is J.D. Sumner and The Stamps and they sung on gospel records with Elvis as back up singers. Good ear.

I still haven't seen a black or white Gospel singer that can go as deep in vocals as the Great J.D. Sumner. That's why he and his group the stamps quartet were background singers for Elvis.
There's a group that used to be from Raleigh the Capital City Five, I think their Baritone could, beat them.And tenor,would be Paul Beasley, no one could hold a note, like him. But, both of these are good.

JD is better. Ken Turner must use sub-harmonics to get those notes; JD can hit those and lower notes using open chest resonance. They don’t sound quite as strong, but they’re properly sung notes.
"Properly sung" is an opinion and a misnomer. Vocally-produced sound on pitch is and with resonance is more pleasing to the ear. That's like saying a head-voice, falsetto, or whistle register isn't "any good." JD never had a voice that many people wanted to hear solo a song, but he has great depth.

I know this sounds fake but I’m now 13 and my lowest note on record is an astonishing A0 I still have no idea how I hit this and I have only been able to do it a few times
Same. I'm only 13 but my lowest subharmonic was a G0 and to hell with how I managed.
Both are great, I enjoy Ken Turner a bit more
