I wanted to share a story that happened to me recently in Jerusalem. A man came to me
for council, thinking that he had committed the unpardonable sin. He said that he
willfully sinned after being a believer in Yahshua. He also said that he felt that he was
going to the Lake of fire anyway, so why should he try to keep the Law or Torah of
    Yahweh?
This man’s dilemma is not much different than all human beings today. Although many
lawless Christians accuse us of trying to earn our salvation, because we strive to obey
Yahweh’s Torah, we understand this is the not the case for true believers. In many
respects we are no different than the young man who thought that he committed the
unpardonable sin, “for all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of Yahweh”
(Ro 3:23). All true believers realize that our works have only gotten us a death penalty,
so no one that ever lived can go before the throne of Yahweh and ask for salvation
through his works Rom 3:20 “Because by works of Law not one of all flesh will be
justified before Him, for through Law is full knowledge of sin.” The bottom line is on
judgment day two things will happen. Either Yahweh’s mercy or justice will prevail.
Either we will be granted entrance into his Kingdom through the grace and shed blood of
his Son Yahshua, or we will get exactly what we deserve and be cast into the Lake of
Fire. Both scenarios are completely just in the eyes of Yahweh, and it is his right as
Creator of all to enact either scenario.
So why then would one keep the law of Yahweh? If we are saved already without the
law, then why would we serve it, and if we are going to the Lake of Fire, what good
would it do to keep the Torah in that case? The answer is actually the same in both cases.
The law was never meant to be a salvational issue, it was only meant to teach us the
difference between right and wrong (Ps119:105). There is not a person on this planet who
does not want to be happy, and the stark reality is that the direct happiness of our lives
totally depends on the daily decisions that we make each day. Whether we are talking
about divorce, sexually transmitted diseases, unhappy job situations, or not being able to
pay the rent, all of these are effects of poor decision making in our lives. The Torah or
Law of Yahweh in the Bible is simply there to teach us right from wrong, and keep us
from making so many poor decisions in our life that will only lead to our misery and
unhappiness. Psa 19:7 The Law of Yahweh is perfect, converting the soul. The
Testimony of Yahweh is sure, making the simple wise.
Psa 19:8 The precepts of Yahweh are right, rejoicing the heart. The commands of
Yahweh are pure, giving light to the eyes.
The Law is perfect, but we are not. As a matter of fact most people make decisions
based on their own hearts. Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is
desperately wicked; who can know it?
So the bottom line is that whether you are really saved, or don’t even believe in
Yahweh, it is only wisdom in keeping the Torah. Gal 3:12b “ but the man who does
them shall live in them.” Keeping the law of Yahweh will only lead to a meaningful
fulfilled happy life. It will protect you from divorce, sickness, bitterness, and all the other
penalties that come from sin. This is not religion, it is science. Eating pig will lead to
heart disease. Eating highly toxic foods such as shellfish will lead to hepatitis, and other
diseases. Adultery and fornication will lead to sexually transmitted diseases. Even
proverbs fourteen tells us,Pro 14:30 A healthy heart is the life of the flesh, but envy is the rottenness of the
    bones.
This is a scientific fact, that people with hatred and bitterness will develop bone cancer.
My friend’s father was told by his doctor, that his life was shortened at least ten years
because of a spirit of envy. Yahweh’s law is like gravity, it never fails, and even the
Apostle Paul tells us; Rom 7:12 So indeed the Law is holy, and the commandment holy
    and just and good.
The problem is not with the perfect law of Yahweh, but with the rebellious nature of
man. Pro 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end of it is the ways
of death. The only reason an atheist does not want to believe in Yahweh is that he does
not want any accountability to a higher authority. But as we have shown, there is no
escaping the laws of nature that Yahweh put in force. You will reap what you sow, so
whether you are saved or not, it is only wisdom and toward the end of an individual’s
happiness that he would keep the laws of Yahweh. A man I met this summer had similar
thoughts, contemplating whether we need to keep Yahweh’s law or not. Then he told me,
that he asked himself a simple question. What would the world be like if all the earth kept
just one of the Ten Commandments? Let’s say thou shalt not steal. He thought and said.
There would never again be a kidnapped child. There would be no adultery because
someone would not steal someone else’s wife. There would be no tension in the world
and wars over people taking someone else’s land. And there would be no locks on doors,
because you would not need them. Now does this sound like slavery or freedom?
There is a second reason though, that a true believer would keep the torah. If the law is
the perfect will of Yahweh, as we have seen, then we would want to do everything in that
perfect will to keep our relationship with Yahweh pure. So now, we would keep the law
by Faith. Hebrew 11:6 says it is impossible to please Yahweh without faith. Faith is
“simply believing every thing that Yahweh says is true.” We are not obeying Torah to be
saved, as we already are saved by the blood of Yahshua, but we are obeying Torah by
faith, as our father Abraham did, because we believe Yahweh when he says his word is
PERFECT! For me to change even one letter of his word, would be showing it is not
perfect, and making myself a creator besides him, breaking the first commandment.
Deu 5:7 You shall have no other Elohim before Me. To say that the law is written on
my heart, therefore I don’t have to keep it, makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. It is
like a sick man with pneumonia saying my medicine is in the refrigerator; therefore I will
get better by not taking it. How can something be written on your heart and done away
with at the same time. This is truly mocking Yahshua’s spirit of grace. He is clear. If you
love him Obey His Commandments! 1Jo 2:4 The one saying, I have known Him, and
not keeping His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in that one. This is plain
    that the ones claiming to be true followers of Yahshua’s should as we read in; 1Jo 2:6;
The one claiming to rest in Him ought so to walk himself as that One walked. All
others are not walking in the light of scripture. Isa 8:20 To the Law and to the
Testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because there is no dawn
to them! BEWARE of wolves in sheep clothing!
Mat 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Master, Master, will enter into the kingdom
of Heaven, but the ones who do the will of My Father in Heaven. Mat 7:22 Many
will say to Me in that day, Master, Master, did we not prophesy in Your name, and
in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many works of power?
Mat 7:23 And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; "depart from Me, those
working lawlessness!" The way we know the perfect will of Yahweh is through his
word, the Torah and the New Testament; let us strive to be one with our Heavenly Father
through the words that he has given us.

    The New Covenant
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
The house of Judah and Israel isn’t walking together in unity to receive a New Covenant at this time. Without teachers and understanding the Hebrew language, and their customs, the law would be very difficult for anyone to learn, and HE states He puts them in us and writes them on our hearts. Who today knows the Torah (Law/Commandments) without study and memorization, and even then doesn’t fully know the Law (Torah) or keep it perfectly. Also we have scripture telling us to “study to show ourselves approved unto God…, and that wouldn’t be necessary if He has put His Law/Commandments in our inward parts and written them in our hearts. Without the written law I wouldn’t know what sin was (1 Jn. 3:4).
I believe that’s why Jesus said:
Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled (Jot and tittle are a reference to the written law).
The written law will be dissolved, along with the old heaven and earth, where after this event God will put His Spirit/Law in our inward parts and write them in our hearts, making “all things new”. Therefore there will be no more the need of teachers. As Ezekiel says: Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you (To make you) to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. We will perfectly obey God’s law because they will be a part of us in our glorified bodies, and in His perfect and eternal kingdom!
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts (HE puts it there), and write it in their hearts (HE writes it in their hearts); and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more (No more teachers) every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. (See Rev. 21:27)
Does anyone believe that God doesn’t remember our sins on earth right now?
Jer 31:35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: Jer 31:36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
New Covenant has the City of David, City of our God, “New Jerusalem” (Rev. 21:9-27)
Jer 31:37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD. Jer 31:38 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner. Jer 31:39 And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath. Jer 31:40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever (New Jerusalem).
Did Jesus say He was establishing a New Covenant with Judah and Israel upon His death? No
New Covenant is only mentioned 3 times in the N.T., and only in the book of Hebrews, and once again it states “behold the days come” (Heb. 8:8), and Hebrews was written years after the death of our Messiah.
All of Revelation 21 speaks about the New Covenant
Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new (New Covenant placed within our New bodies, and on a New heaven and earth, and in the New Jerusalem). And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
If we say we are in the New Covenant now, than that would say His old covenant was flawed, when it wasn’t, the “fault” was with “them”. Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
Whether one believes we are in the New Covenant or the Old Covenant we are to still to obey the Law of our God (The Torah; commandments given to ALL HIS PEOPLE in the Torah). The Levitical Priesthood and sacrifices ended with our Lord and Savior at the CROSS! The Way to salvation has never changed! Those before Jesus looked to the “Finished work of the cross” (Final Sacrifice), and we are looking back at the cross, the Sacrifice made for our salvation through the “Blood Covenant”!
A TRUE FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST DOES ALL THAT HE COMMANDED!!!
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Mat 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Mat 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat (The weekly reading of the Torah every Sabbath): Mat 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

Where does the Bible say the law was only for Jews? It says it is for Isreal which are the 12 tribes of Isreal. If it was specifically for the Jews it would say for the tribe of Judah (who are the Jews). Isreal is all 12 tribes plus those of us grafted in. If we can't see this and accept it than how can we claim the new covenant is for us? The new covenant specifically says the house of Judah and the house of Israel.

@@leo11190 - A careful study proves you are right.
      The Passover
To avoid confusion it should be remembered that a day in the Bible runs from sunset to sunset. Genesis ch.1:5.
Exodus ch.12:3-6 The Israelites were to take a lamb without spot or blemish on the 10th of the 1st month and keep it up until the 14th day and kill it in the evening. Since the day runs from sunset to sunset the lamb was to be killed towards the end of the 13th (the preparation day) and before the start of the 14th
The 14th day of the first month was to be a “memorial and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations: ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever. Exodus ch.12:14.
And on that day “ye shall do no servile work.” Leviticus ch.23:5-7 It was an annual Sabbath.
      The Crucifixion.
“Palm Sunday” (10th of the month) Jesus entered Jerusalem on an ass and to the acclaim of the people who accepted him as King of Israel. (John 12:12-14; Mark 11:8-10.)
Jesus leaves Jerusalem and goes to Bethany (Mark 11:11)
Monday (11th) Jesus returns to Jerusalem (Mark 11:12,15)
That night He again left the City. (Mark 11:19)
Tuesday (12th) they “came again to Jerusalem” Mark 11:27 and went to the Temple and debated with the priests and later explained end time prophecy to His disciples. (ch.13)
(ch.14:1) “After two days was the feast of the passover (which would be on the 14th - Thursday.)
Next day (beginning at sunset on Tuesday 12th ) was Wednesday (13th) the day when they killed the passover. (Mark 14:12_ - And that same evening (which to us would be the Tuesday evening) Jesus and disciples ate the “Last Supper” (Mark 14:12-25; Luke 22::13-20.)
Jesus then left with the disciples and went out to the Mount of Olives (Mark14:26) where He was arrested (Luke 22:47-54) and that same night He was taken before Pilot, Herod and the High Priest and was condemned to be crucified. He was crucified later that same day (Wednesday 13th) (Luke 23:33) and was declared dead by the 9th hour (3pm). Jesus was then put in the tomb (Luke 23:53) “and that day was the preparation day “and the Sabbath (on the 14th) drew near.” (Luke 23:54); John 19:31 (Note. That Sabbath on the 14th day of the first month (Thursday) was an annual Sabbath.) The women then went to the Tomb to see how Jesus’ body was laid. (Luke 23: 55). Then “they returned and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment.” (Luke ch.23:56) Since they would not be preparing the spices etc on the High Day Sabbath (Thursday) (Leviticus ch.23:5,7) they must have prepared them on the following day, Friday; and the next day, Saturday, was when “they rested according to the commandment.” Then on the Sunday morning when they went to the tomb they found that Jesus had (already) risen - “as He said” (Matthew ch.28:6) after three days and three nights, the only sign that he would give. (Matthew ch.12:38-45) Three days and three nights after being put in the tomb means that the resurrection took place at the end of the weekly Sabbath
Since there is no way you can get three days and three nights between a Friday crucifixion and a Sunday morning resurrection the traditional story of Good Friday/Easter Sunday is clearly shown to be wrong and hence there is no justification for changing the Sabbath to Sunday. However, if we go by what the Bible actually says - Jesus was placed in the tomb near sunset on Wednesday and resurrected three days and three nights later then the resurrection was near sunset on the following weekly Sabbath. A Sunday morning resurrection would give us three days and four nights.

There are two separate sets of commandments in John 15:10. Based on Hebrews 12:18-24, we are not come to Mount Sinai, but instead to the New Covenant of Mount Zion. In Galatians 3:16-29 Paul reveals the temporary nature of the Sinai Covenant. The law was "added" 430 years "after" the promise made to Abraham "until" the seed (Christ) could come to whom the promise was made. In Galatians chapter 4 Paul compares the Sinai Covenant to "bondage" and compels the Galatian believers to "cast out" the covenant of bondage. In Hebrews 8:13 we find that the New Covenant has made the Old Covenant "obsolete". Since Acts chapter 15 there has been a battle between the Judaisers who could not let go of the Old Covenant and those who embraced the New Covenant of Christ. The books of Galatians and Hebrews were written to address this problem. During most of the history of our faith the Judaisers have won the day. Watch the TH-cam videos titled "New Covenant Theology Made Simple" by David H J Gay if you want to understand the New Covenant of Christ.

I would like to hear a teaching on this verse myself. What I’ve been told is that the the enmity is the “penalty” for not keeping the Law perfectly. When Messiah died and resurrected, that penalty was removed… so we are no longer under the penalty of the Law..,.. It’s a great question that deserves a whole hour’s worth of teaching.

Gary Ellliott agreed except that Jesus died on a Wednesday and resurrected on Sunday (what the west calls Saturday night. NB: the bible says Mary went in the morning to the tomb not that Jesus rose in the morning). It fits with the biblical calendar of Nisan 14 etc, Shabbat HaGadol and 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb.

Satan does not have any salvation. It was only to us. God made the covenant with Israel that they broke. So he made a new with Israel not lie the one he made with fathers. Jesus fulfilled the what written of him to bring forth a better covenant and promises , not so the we could offer sacrifices of animals which would have if hadn't abolished the old covenant. There is no redeemption for fallen angels they cannot be saved. God changes the heart when we believe. We repent only once when are heart is changed then Jesus forms us into a better person afterwards. The old covenant is not written on our hearts.
If it is are you going to do eye for eye. Or when tell a pastor when a person picks up sticks on the Sabbath day that they a that person should be stoned? No. Jesus is our Sabbath day rest, not the day it self. Mathew 11:28-30.

TELE-SCOPE 1640s, from Italian telescopio (Galileo, 1611), and Modern Latin telescopium (Kepler, 1613), both from Greek teleskopos "far-seeing," from tele- "far" (from PIE root *kwel- (2) "far" in space or time) + -skopos "watcher" (from PIE root *spek- "to observe"). Said to have been coined by Prince Cesi, founder and head of the Roman Academy of the Lincei (Galileo was a member). Used in English in Latin form from 1619.

Paul was saying that we establish the law through Christ, Not the old covenant but the new covenant. Jesus died to old covenant. We are not made perfect by the flesh through the law of old covenant. That is why he said to Gala 3 what he did he did they were observe all of these feast and rituals. They were not for the gentiles or Jews because they were under the new covenant to. God said he had made it for israel and Judah. He would pour out his spirit on all flesh in Joel. One thing he was talking morals of the law not the Sabbaths and feast days and food laws.

      17 You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked;

Paul was trying to get the Jews away from the old customs of the law so they could be saved. It was hard for them because they had did for many years sacrificing that was the only way thought they could have salvation. Any thing New was above their heads. Jesus did away with all old practices and brought forth the thing he talked in Jeremiah 31. Jesus fulfilled the laws that man couldn't so he could be the perfect sacrifice for our Passover. In the old covenant the gentiles were not allowed in the sanctuary. Even some of the Jews weren't if they had something wrong with them. Or if they had a deformity of some kind. The laws were strict.
Now under the new covenant it doesn't matter. That is proof we are under the new covenant.

We have a NEW covenant and a BETTER promise. We do NOT have a NEW LAW or a BETTER LAW! The LAW wasn't the problem, it was the people who didn't circumcise their hearts, they were stiff necked because they didn't WANT TO OBEY GOD'S LAW. if your not keeping God's Law Paul says you are walking in the flesh: Rom 8:6-8 For to be CARNALLY MINDED is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is ENMITY AGAINST GOD; for it is NOT SUBJECT TO THE LAW OF GOD, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the FLESH cannot please God.

What were Stephen, Jesus, and Paul accused of in the book of Acts? Please note that the Scripture states "FALSE WITNESSES". Even Jesus was falsely accused of teaching against the Law. The Church (Religious) leaders are still accusing Jesus, Stephen and Paul of teaching against the LAW.
      Acts 6:10-14
10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.
11 Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God.
12 And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,
13 And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:
14 For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.
      Now for Paul:
Acts 24:13 Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
WHAT were they accusing Paul of?
Acts 21:21And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.
      WHAT is Paul's response?
14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
Acts 24:21 Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.

I never said the law gives life. You actually are proving my point. Obedience is out of love. Jesus said, if you love me obey my commandments (plural).
But you say, if you love Jesus you don't need his commandments.
Paul taught to adhere to the commandments of God.
What is the sin balaam? Why did Jesus call attention to this in revelation?

We couldn't see the extent of "it is finished" the earth quaked and the rock split at the foot of the Cross, Christs blood was released by the Roman soldier who pierced his side. While Six hundred years earlier The Ark of the Covenant was moved.. Solomon prepared for its hiding and Jeremiah moved it precisely under the cross yet future! GOLGOTHA.
REVELATION 12. THE WITNESS OF THE BLOOD IN THE STARS..
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. The Rabbi's keep the tablets of stone and the blood (testimony) found on the mercy seat.
I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourn for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
ENMITY is what exists now the solution is in the Fathers witness!
1 John 5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. 10 He that believe on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believe not God hath made him a liar; because he believe not the record that God gave of his Son.
For it is by His grace we are rescued, through faith; and this is not of yourselves, but it is the gift of Elohim. (when opened). 9. Not of works, or else anyone glory (in themselves). 10. For we are His creation who are created in Y'shua the Mashiyach for good works which Elohim has before prepared for us to walk in. 11. Wherefore be mindful that you formerly were carnal Gentiles; and you were called the uncircumcision by that which is called the circumcision of which is the work of the hands in the flesh. 12. And you were, at that time, without the Mashiyach; and were aliens from the Devarim of Israel; and strangers to the covenant of the promise; and were without hope and without Elohim in the world. 13. But now, by Y'shua the Mashiyach, you who before were afar off, have been brought near by the Blood of the Mashiyach. 14. He is Himself our peace, who has made the two (become) ONE
