@@hoosierhardwoodsoutdoors3141 so I have one I just built that is a plastic barrel cut in half, I assume it will hold 3 bags of corn in each side. I was hoping to get close to 3-4 weeks out of it without having to go in and fill it.. does that sound reasonable? I also will get in the stand a few nights and see about putting the coons night night.
2 foot by 4ft. I had a half sheet of plywood so I just made the frame work for that dimension. Thank you and I appreciate you following along on this channel and let me know if you have any other questions.
That's just what I've been looking for. I do the exact same thing.with the supplement feed in what I call My nursery where all the doe's and fawn's stay. All you need is salt and corn to bring em in.but there are no benefits. Thinks and I will be using your design, kind of what I had in mind.
This was a really great tutorial. Thank you for posting. Hope your new Granddaughter gets a chance to enjoy all her Papaw’s farm has to teach her.
Thank you! We will definitely have fun that's for sure.
How often do you have to refill it?
Depends on how bad the coons hit it. LOL. Typically a 50lb bag will last a week to week and a half or so.

That's real good. Good. Job
Does the corn get wet
Unless its raining on a very windy day then the edges might. I have had no trouble with wet corn.
Could you tell me what the dimensions are. I love what you are doing

Super easy and I just used scrap wood I had laying around. A lot cheaper than buying new. Best of luck with your feeder. 👍
