California Zephyr Scenic Train Ride - Sept 2022

The California Zephyr is a long-distance passenger train operated by Amtrak between Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area (at Emeryville), via Omaha, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Reno, one of the most scenic Amtrak routes, with views of the upper Colorado River valley in the Rocky Mountains, and the Sierra Nevada. We travel from the originating train station Chicago right up to Salt Lake City, alongside the Colorado River and the Red Rockies, on way to our trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. During this ride we will cross Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, and Utah states of the United States of America (USA).
