Nice Review! ❤ I've had mine a couple of weeks now in the yellow / black (PVD) variant. Love it! I purchased it on the leather strap + the rubber strap. Both are super comfortable, & they are signed both on the underside of the strap & buckles. Very cool watch! I've been buying mostly automatic & hand wind watches for over 20 years, and the MS1001 is a nice addition to my collection. 🍻 Oh! On the PVD case, you really don't even notice 'MECEXP' on top of the case nor the 'FLYBACK' on the edge. In super bright, a little more noticeable. But; no big deal.
There are a few other video reviews on here with the green or yellow indices. And they appear to be more legible under the LED backlight and they look to have some superluminova as well. I’m waiting for the titanium version to come out before I decide which one to buy.
Yes, the yellow is super legible. I almost went with the red, and I might yet if I decide to buy another in the stainless case. The titanium version is due out any time now. Apparently, it is a bit larger from my understanding. The LED (3 LEDs) backlight is very cool on the MS1001.
@@PhatkatCollections Something to do with the pigments they use. The lume on the yellow one is illegible at night after about two minutes even after hit it with UV. The hand indicators are lumed well but not the numbers. They should find a way to lume them better. What would be cool is if they used really good lume then had a UV backlight as would light the numbers when pressed. Might get on to them about it.
There's a lot of people who wear smart watches to monitor health. Heart rate. Sleep. I'm in a line of work in hospitals where smart phones are frowned upon in some areas. A smart watch is used to discretely show when a notification comes through so you can excuse yourself.
I get it.. I guess one could also just have the phone in. Their pocket and still get a notification. I hear ya though to each their own. I just see them as a gimmick.
Every review I see on this it looks massive !! but when I got mine in hand and on wrist just looked and felt like a toy watch, nothing against the watch just after bigger heavier pieces just didnt do it for me which was a shame as great design.

thanks man. Yea its a cool watch for sure
Hey! I’m the one who suggested this to you in a live stream a couple weeks ago. Glad it’s getting reviewed! Cheers.
Hahah yes sir!!! They responded fast. Thanks again 👍
agreed back lighting would make the watch
It has 3 blue LEDs below the center bar that are activated with a single push of the crown. 👍
Yes he obviously knows that as I showed this in the video

Yes red sucks for legibility at night
Fly back means that the hands, or in this case the markers, "fly back to the bottom once they reached the top.
my bother excellent info. had no idea. I should prob start googling before making vids lol anyways bro hope all is well and thanks for the info!
The yellow one has lumed numbers.
Hmm interesting why did not lume all colors

So cool. Can't do $300 but very cool and different
Yea man it's def unique
Fly back chronograph also means you don’t need to stop the chronograph function before it resets back to 0.
Good info however this is not a chronograph
A chronograph just means stop watch. You have the function of a stopwatch which is a chronograph…
umm NO. This watch is not a stop watch nor is it a chronograph. It simply tells time.
@@PhatkatCollectionsRead the manual - it also has a chronograph function.
