I started out looking for the version that was in the recent movie "Lifted" There is nothing like talent, and good voices ... Eric, Bob, jon, they brought my through my high school years, and even still today, when I feel the need to be touched .... they come back again and again.
Maybe Axl did not write it, but he gave it is best, and made a great job at it..... This song is amazing, no matter what Bon Jovi thinks....and who sings it... Thank you.

it's all a question of taste and preferences, i prefer the version of GNR over the original and this of Bon Jovi 'cause i like Axl voice! so it's not that one i'ts better than the other it's just that the song is interpreted in different ways and styles so logically you are going to prefer one according to your taste. =)
