His LiL rig is just two Engle half stack amps, and his loyal Dio era matt-black Les Paul mic'd to the house system, playing only to a few hundred people. I can't wait to see him again this October. I've met him probably 15 times. Always cordial and cool!

Viv, I am reading the Definitely book and just got to the part about you being diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. I too am a Hodgkins Lymphoma survivor. I was diagnosed in 2020, after I recovered I was inspired to start my TH-cam channel. Godspeed brother and stay well. Health is wealth!
Nice collection of guitars. I have 3 that were given to me by my uncle. The first one was when I was 8 years old. The second one was given to me almost 30 years ago. The last one was given to me shortly after he passed away. I might have to name them all after his name.
Viv's been one of my favourite guitarists ever since hearing Dio's first solo record Holy Diver (one of the greatest hard-rock to metal albums ever), my view is that Viv (and also John Sykes) are two of the late great Gary Moore's 'disciples' as it were, stylistically/musically. Vivian is a stunningly brilliant guitarist - his DIO days when he was given a chance by RD saw a young hungry player who just blew it all away live. Viv's first guitar was a LP. The way he tells the story is hilarious...waiting....and waiting to get it as back then it took a LONG time to get a US LP delivered to Ireland. As all fans of Viv know he had his 'shred' days and his famous limited edition guitars - and he used super Strats with Leppard for years before as he himself said "came full circle", returning to LP's. Lovely bloke.
Glad he's in good health & also has had a career with Def Leppard the last 30 years. One of my top 5 guitarist back in the early/mid 80's mainly because I'm a huge fan of the 1st 2 Dio records.

I think you def should rename Casper, Wolfie. Dave was a lovely guy whenever I had the chance to chat with him when Leppard last toured Australia in 2018 and in Vegas.
