Looks to be about 1998, a good car year as I recal, especially for the Vipers. Car has good trap speed for lower 1/4 times, nice to see it can still take turns too.
if you are havn't trouble at the redlight add 4.30 gears...that'll really wake up your snake and you'll be knockin at the ss passenger side door on the way down the road...if not showing him how good your tailights will look...and that's a 300-400 dollar mod
adding that blower is good...but if you wanna rape those ss camaros at the stoplights buddy add 4.10s or 4.30s and drag radials...then you'll have no worries, ecspecially with a vortec. gears really wake these cars up...I used to smoke lt1s at redlights with my mostly stock, 4.10ed cobra and I ran with ls1s all the time. ls1s are killer, don't get me wrong...I just don't see them as this big bad ass God like everyone else...my cobra didn't have that much trouble hangin...must be tha driver....
Look at his trap speed..that tells you the potential of the car with the rite suspension...113.9mph is good enough for 12.0 and with the rite suspension, that trap would be higher..his 0-60 tells you his 30 and 60 ft times suffer...u can see that in the video its all spin. That car could go high 11s with the 400rwhp its putting down. What does your firebird run what mods and what yr is it? cheers, -M

With 8#s, you could be rite, thats about 400rwhp, however thats not on street drags or any other straightline suspension mod (control arms, 3 link, alum driveshaft) or gears, or exhaust. Do all these and you are running high 11s. Up the boost and put in a TKO transmission and some slicks = low 11s high 10s!! -M

if you have trouble with ss camaros at the stoplight add 4.30 gears...you won't have any more trouble, ecspecially at stoplights...
They allow better handling and more traction...The back tires are several inches wider than stock...That counts as increased performance.

my buddie is putting a hellion twin t88 turbo on his 97 cobra should sit around 8oo or more to the wheell's when done and be street driven

Now you've gotta worry about BPU Supra's and Boosted EK's. Lets see and you still have to worry about Vettes!.
