Watching this video means those systems are complex but the aftermarket is working to simplify the calibration test.
    Good video!

Sure! I don’t get many static calibration jobs but when I do I will try and film them. Thanks for watching!

If you calibrated and completed and then drove some miles and turned back on what does that mean ? Car was in a small accident but just had to pull bumper off

Can you start doing more diags on cars that at a shop where they can’t figure it out. I learn more from you doing that

Have you had to calibrate or program LED headlights?

I’m doing some research to get into this business.
I have a shop 18ft x 50ft. Do you think I can do calibration for all systems in that space Radar, bsm, ldw,

Are there any physical adjustments on ADAS components. For example, adjustment screws like headlights have?

    • @ADVANCEDLEVELAUTO
      @ADVANCEDLEVELAUTO  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

On some yes. In this case the sensor is clipped to the front bumper with no means of adjustment.

That's what I had thought. On diagnostic network I see errors and problems with calibration after accidents. Working at various body shops I know there can be bent metal that can't be seen by the naked eye. I also know frame alignment measurements usually don't include bracketry. I have done alignments for 6 years of my life and have found that if something wasn't adjustable aftermarket solutions had to be installed or educated guess on a bent component replacement that I couldn't physically see. This is why I asked the original question, because if ADAS isn't calibrating after a collision it seems to me that all of those sensors should be adjustable because a front bumper can still fit and look good but cause the sensor to be misaligned if all it does is just clip in.@@ADVANCEDLEVELAUTO

Can you do this with a 2018 Honda Accord if i bring it to you?

The cone stand needs to be adjustable so both axis can be adjusted to level.

Hey, I stumbled on your videos by looking for a diagnosis for my wife's 2011 Chevy Malibu. She has that issue where it doesn't crank due to the fuse box getting to hott, I noticed you went the extra mile that no mechanic in my area would go. I was wondering if you could provide me with more info or a video so I can either do it myself or get someone to do it. I would appreciate it if you could reach out, we just about quit on this car before I saw your video, bro. Thank you

If you don't know how to look up a scanner you shouldn't be calibrating any sensors. Especially if they are safety related

Remember when, camrys, came with just enough materials underneath the hood, to get them down the road? Nowhere at all, was it super sophisticated, or packed with technology. It was a basic mode of transportation, with a basic entry-level price.
Now, being one of the most sophisticated machines on the planet. And one of the most expensive, passenger vehicles on the market.
It's called gradualism. They gradually screwed us. So they could implement technology that nobody wanted, and nobody needed.
And now we have to pretend, that, automotive repair is the equivalent of rocket science.
Spark, fuel, and compression, everything else is 🐂💩
By the way... There's over 155 cases in the court system right now, a vehicle that slammed on their brakes on their highway, after, their collision avoidance programs have failed, right after being reprogrammed.
And 55 of those cases, resulted in a fatality.
I mean seriously, imagine picking up your freshly reprogrammed computer, and as soon as you get on the highway, and cross under the first overpass. Your car slams on its brakes.
What a genius idea that is!
