      Yes! I have the 2025 XLE and my Samsung s24 Ultra has the same wireless connectivity issues it's hit or miss every time you start the vehicle. It's definitely annoying. Also I have the same annoying armrest noise except mine is in the middle console armrest. I also discovered that the driver side chrome door trim isn't aligned properly to match the back door. Also not sure if you guys checked out the rear adjustable headrest but they don't adjust at all or click to lock in place. Again these are small minor details but for a car priced over 38k I'd expect better. Ohhh and 1 more thing why does Toyota always cut the carpet under the drivers seat? If you guys can get an answer as to why please do an update. Thanks!

      For me, the connectivity issues, the overactive lane assist, and the quality issues such as squeaking armrests are deal breakers. These are unexpected in a Toyota which is known for its quality control

      This didn't work for me, nor did rapidly tapping the screen. It was puzzling that when the salesman first paired my iphone, I had to enter a 6 digit password. After several complaints about the black screen, the service tech re paired my phone and there was no password requirement to do. so.

    I’ve had my ‘25 Camry XLE since May 10. I’m writing this on October 17. Just turned 5,000 miles (and will get my first free Toyota maintenance done tomorrow). I’ve had no problems with Apple CarPlay connecting EXCEPT when one particular VPN is active on the paired iPhone. I also have not had the Lane Centering announcements you brothers get every 15 seconds. Actually I haven’t had any annoyances or things not working. The only “negative” I have is that the actual MPG per tankful averages a full 2 MPG lower than the MPG shown on the Fuel Economy display, which I reset to zero at each fill up. My actual average MPG per fill up using ECO mode all the time is 42.5. That is significantly below Toyota’s stated MPG estimate of 46 MPG for the XLE FWD model. However, I’m quite happy with 42.5 MPG after owning my 2008 Ford Taurus which averaged about 17.5 MPG. All in all, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my ‘25 Camry XLE.

      What % of your driving is city versus highway?

    • @ronkert706
      @ronkert706 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      About 75% of mileage is Highway, and the rest is City.

    • @ironrain1x
      @ironrain1x 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is about what I get on for my fuel economy on gas camry as well. Then again if I mainly drove city then it would be much lower

    • @ronkert706
      @ronkert706 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I found a legitimate reason why my actual average MPG is lower than the EPA new car sticker estimates. The EPA tests cars at about 50 MPH for their Highway estimate. My highway driving is probably at an average of about 65 to 70 MPH, which would use more gas than 50 MPH. Considering my estimated 75% of miles at “my” highway speeds (65-70), my overall average of 42.5 MPG seems reasonable.

    • @ironrain1x
      @ironrain1x 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @ronkert706 i agree but then again i also get around 46 mpg going 55 mph on the highway and 42 mpg going 70-75 mph on the highway. My commute is usually flat roads so you could also have some hills that could affect your mpg. From my experience I usually get slightly above the mpg rating. I also don't drive a hybrid but a strictly gas version of the camry. Also forgot to mention that if it's cold where you are living at, then that will affect your MPG as well. Gas has the same issue as well.

    My 2023 Highlander Hybrid has some of the same problems with the carplay system. I believe the problem is Toyota is not keeping up with the updates the phones are doing. My system worked great for the first 3 months of ownership and then the phone did a major update, then the little bugs keep coming out. Things may get better but not prefect if you try this with the system. Go in and delete out the phone then reinstall it. Things seemed to work better, but you have to do this every time apple does an update, which is about every 5 weeks. When apple did the new os 18 update, everything was back to working great, then the phone did the little update and the bugs are back now.
    I also felt the car was unsafe to drive with the safety system on, especially in the rain. It wants to hug the right side of the road driving down the highway, but when it comes to an exit or on ramp it wants to move over more then it sees it made a mistake and centers the car back fast. It is a very uncomfortable feeling.

    • @Fastxfords99

      It's not Toyota. It's apple proprietary programming that causes the issues with carplay. This happens in almost every manufacturer when using apple.

    I have a 2025 Camry XLE, nothing in my vehicle creaks and it feels relatively high quality. My infotainment issues also are not as persistent as what is shown in this video. Bluetooth pairing will be finnicky between any Bluetooth device but I second the other comment where if you run into this issue you should hold down the power button to reset the infotainment. It also helps if not more than 2 devices are paired, if those devices are in the car it sometimes gets confused on which phone it wants to pair. It's also beneficial to have a usb cable lying around so you can get the pairing done, quick fix.
    Its still early with only 3 months of ownership but Toyota did a wonderful job with this Camry

  • @AllenReinecke

    4000 miles and 2 months on our XLE AWD. 2 oil changes to-date.
    No issues whatsoever.
    Wireless connection is solid to my Pixel 6a. I just have to get in the car.
    10 tank fills and the calculated average mpg is 47.8.
    Sunglasses compartment should have been lined with soft material as sunglasses rattle in it. We use an old sock!
    Lane tracing is best on the highway. It's finicky on country lanes. Also, it will get too close to the lines itself and beep! Can't turn the beeps off, which is annoying.
    Insurance went up by $70 from a Ford Escape Hybrid.
    My only legit problem is the paint. The non-metallic Underground shows EVERY swirl, scratch, and mar. It's awful! It's very soft paint too. I wish we'd got a lighter, metallic color which would show defects less.
    Love it though. Torquey, quiet, fuel efficient, good looking. ❤️

With 2012 Camry XLE Hybrid was about $30-31k. Now 2025, we start off as HEV. Camry LE HEV about $29-30k. Camry XLE HEV $$35-37k. Obviously price increased in the last 13 years. I had the 2021 version of this car and had an issue with an audible vibration coming from the rear speakers of the JBL system. I was not playing music at very high levels, nor were any of my audio settings maxed out. I took the car back to the dealership 3 times. The first time, less than a week in, the subwoofer was replaced due to a broken coil. The second time, additional insulation was installed, the third time, nothing else could be done and I was told it was a known issue that Toyota was working to resolve. I figured this was a design flaw that would be corrected for the redesign. Sadly, the 2025 models are more of a visual refresh, excluding interior and powertrain upgrades, so the overall exterior design for 2025 has just been slightly modified at best. With that said, it is possible that this issue, if not resolved, could carry over into this current generation. I kept my Camry for just 2 years and have driven nothing but Toyota and Lexus products until 2023 when I leased my first ever Honda Accord Sport-L Hybrid.

    I was originally going to get a 2025 Camry for our extra family car, but ended up buying the Kia K5 GT-Line AWD instead. I didn’t like the idea of hybrid and the risk of an expensive battery pack replacement after several years. Also the AWD electric assist for the rear wheel is not as good as mechanical AWD. Toyota uses Android Auto for its infotainment system and I have had a lot of bad experiences with Android. The infotainment system in the Kia is very nice and solid.

    I've seen similar issues to the android auto issue. Usually it is because a device's OS fully boots before it turns on the peripherals such as the network devices. So it boots - says nothing is connected or accessible then it loads up the connections then says I'm connected or you'll have to connect now that the network is accessible.

Meanwhile, I am using the portable clipon Chamberlain homelink devices. 4) Can I display frequent callers to show up on a list and use those on a touchscreen, or do I have to always use voice to call someone? 5) I Can not seem to find a memory feature for the Automatic seat, mirror memory for all my drivers. Would like to have 3 programmed in ? When I stop to get out, I would like my seat to roll back for exiting, etc. The fit up front is tight. 6) Toyota asks me to type in my email and password everytime I go into settings mode, even though I already have my profile pulled up on my dashboard panel. Is this a dealer or manufacturer defect? Do other family drivers need to have their phone programmed to Toyota to use radio, car setting features, etc?

I rarely drive it, but the few times I have, I have to go into the settings and turn on android auto every time like you mention.

    The moonroof assembly in our 25 Camry XSE AWD Premium is being replaced due to an obnoxious rattle in warm/sun conditions. It had better work.

    You are not the only one the android play don't connect in mine too. I have a RAV4 and every time I get it asks me to connect or find my phone. It sucks. Toyota needs to fix and improve the software.

    Hi sir, I love your review. I own a 2025 Camry LE AWD but from this week aim noticing issue with Miles per gallon is not working fine . Initially till last week it was showing 50 miles per gallon but staring this week it started showing 20 and jumping the values and not perfect. Have you noticed such issues. I tried resetting the trip meter but still see the same issue. Please can you comment

    The connect issue is annoying. I’ve noticed if I turn the car on with my iPhone unlocked it ask to connect via phone. Yes, inconvenient, but better than having to go to settings > connect > phone > apply car play yes. What you said doing.

    Toyota quality has gone down, I really wish this car was built in Japan. I have a 2025 xse with premium plus for just over two months now and I also have the buzzing as well as other rattles that comes and goes. Before the camry, I had a 2017 mazda cx-5, Japanese built, and the interior quality is so much nicer than the camry, and quieter at freeway speeds too. I had that car for 7+ years, just over 101k miles and it barely has any rattles and squeaks. I still love the camry though, has a very comfortable supple ride even with the 19's. I did change the tires to more quieter ones, the stock bridgestones were so noisy.

      I know a lot of people like to say the CX 50 is inferior because it was made in Alabama, but my CX 50 has no creeks or rattles! I do have occasional connection issues with the wireless Apple CarPlay though

      Should’ve gotten a crown , that’s why I got mine cause it was made in Japan , I’m at 20k mileage in 8 months and no problems besides the connection issues with car play
      I had 2 Mazdas before this as well , great cars and no problems with them
      And definitely recommend continental

    I have the same problem with Bluetooth connectivity on my 24 Corolla XLE. I mostly solved it by always having my phone in sleep mode when turning on the car. Something about the phone being awake interfered with initiating the connection. It still fails to connect, but only about 3% of the time instead of 30%.
