Rumena is lovely ! I remember around 7 years ago when she started out on insta , my 5 year old was obsessed with her and would often imitate her, I sent rumena a video and she sent a video reply back to my daughter! Very very sweet girl ❤
People act like she’s a ghost and it’s frighteningly plastic.Bro her skin colour is very normal. A lot of people want to hate her, just get off her back now it’s pathetic
we know her skin colour is normal but I don't think she thinks this. She has over filtered and edited every single upload. Nobody has said anything about her skin colour in this video. They are just questioning why the overedit in all her uploads. And it's not that 'everybody edit' she literally has portrayed herself as apparently being mistaken for other cultures and fueling this 'I'm better than' culture herself - this is absolutely irresponsible for young girls on social media when colorism is already a problem.
@@flahk6277 Every influencer does that. Snapchat filter makes everyone look better, not always lighter but pops up features. You're holding her to a higher standard. Why do people care about her skin tones. My own skin tone is light brown (I'm bengali), my skin tone fluctates from season to season and I have used filter to accentuate my fatures and make them pop, not make it lighter? Some of you, starts with the letter P and ends with the letter N, think you lot own light skin and angular features like nobody else can have it. There's also this trend where people think looking bengali isn't good. But let me ask you this, from hollywood to bollywood, certain features were always IN, which was symmetrical, softer, tan skin, nice nose, almond eyes which is generally what a lot of bengalis look like and a fit body. Like this girl meets that template and anyone with eyes know she's beautiful with or without dark skin. I really don't want to come for other people's features: but since we're so targeted all the time, I guess I'll stoop down to their levels. Look up the "most beautiful actresses" in our haters' countries. Look up our most beautiful actresses including the dark ones, all have sex appeal. People want to be arab so badly, and pk people take so much pride in being closer to them so badly, and they shame us for literally everything under the sun. It's like they have a scale on what's "bad" (bengali) and what's "good" (arab). But for example, shiekh mahra is said to be the most beautiful woman in the arab world, look at her weight and her body structure. this is what you'll aspire to be like. I'd rather look like Rumena. There's probably very beautiful arab women but why is there this miconception and scale in place in the ummah from "very desi/bengali/indian" to pakistani in the middle to arab at the very end as being something good. So much so that you must constantly shun, and humiliate your own people because like it or not PK people are closer to us than they will ever be to Arabs. Even if you look at hollywood standards in the 2000s, beauty was all about looking approachable, having almond eyes, tan skin, a button nose, being very slim, fit which are all features that Rumena fit the template of and arguably, so does a lot of bengali women that has a good fitness regimen in place and eat healthy. They may not be as striking as some of these other ethnicities, but we sure as hell aren't ugly, not one to be shamed, nor controlled. I also have this conspiracy theory, this shaming that goes around toward bengali women by pk people has to do with the fact that they want religious fundamentalists taking over our countries so they want to get rid of as much liberal/secular bengalis as possible while their own dress like sluts. I said what I said.
She def did a lot immature mistakes i have to say bt as long as she recognizes those mistakes and learns from it, doesnt do it agan and repents to allah than she will forgiven by allah.. may allah give her endless happiness.. myself as a divorcee i can understand the pain of a woman getting divorced so may allah heal her and guide her and give her a very loving husband so that she will always be happy ❤ btw rumena u are beautiful how allah created you, so dont use that much filter, ur rly beautiful masha allah
She is such an amazing and beautiful person .in real life she’s more beautiful and amazing personality. Idk why people hate her. Allah will deal with the haters. It’s upsetting to see how our ummah is
You know everything you discussed is so true especially the bit where bengaliare so ignorant and full of pride towards others, irritates me too, clearly they hsve some sort of insecurity and rumena is right all it does is blocks out their blessings from Allah, so let them be and you be you, you have matured into a beautiful women and you speak beautifully too, i also want to add, and to adress other people’s comments we all use filters in this day and age don’t lie… however i think she looks a heck of a lot better and more beautiful without filters as she actually has a really nice complexion and beautiful features, praying for you to be more successful and show the losers just what you are and can be , lots of love 😘😘🥰
The host mentioned a good point about addressing hate and for Rumena to clear things up. In the same way I think if Rumena addressed comments she has made that she isn’t proud of to her audience, then she may come across more genuine. Just like how in her own words has mentioned here she made a dumb comment about the Bengali men. If you simply address it ‘Hey everyone I don’t think I meant it like this etc etc’ then it makes you seem more apologetic and empathetic.
I’m not sure exactly what I said so I didn’t want to put out wrong information but that’s what I was trying to say and I accepted my mistakes and therefore decided to come onto this podcast ♥️♥️♥️ I hope that clear things
Can I just say I am a mother of two daughters and I definitely don’t want my girls to marry Bengali men. I find them really scummy and mummy’s boys. They need to all grow up and get a life and yes that’s including my dad and brothers and cousins and husband. I always tell them marry anything else except Bengali and Pakistani the most nonsense ppl ever
Shes a sweet bubbly girl, honestly people need to stop hating, commenting on her "skin colour" or face. Leave the girl alone and give her some support.
Thank you sis it’s okie sis I’m always going to be me regardless of the hate, their mission is to stop me from being myself but that will never happen ♥️
No one has problem with her skin colour it her, herself she filter herself make herself white. But her skin colour actually nice Masha'Allah she needs to be more confident
Reading these comments about her views on "bengali guys" firstly i haven't heard her say it but i think this sort of comments are general across the board i.e ive heard Pakistani, afghaani, indian and other ethnic groups girls say the very same thing...the problem is us ourselves. Are you a good representation of whatever you seek? This is why deen is soo important, it structures your mind and shows you right and wrong. Also the topic of nikah between mix cultures i really think ppl should read classical books by our scholars and understand the term "kuf" and how it could be applicable in todays day and age.
I don't think her comment was right. But why has there been an overwhelming trend of shaming bengali girls about who they date, what make up they decide to put on, obsession with what skin colour they have, what ethnicities they look like and more. Bengali guys have the most freedom in the world. They date all ethnic groups. I've met white women that like these m'fuckers. Had a white man tell me he met someone that liked them. They didn't say south asians, he meant BENGALI MEN. On the other hand, we're allowed to date out the least in our own communities, have limited freedom, and south asian communities around us act like we have undesirable men so we want to date out more often? When we have the most limited freedoms, these pieces of shit think they can control us too now? Who we date, stereotype us etc. I've met bengali men womanizers that were hot, and dated all races, and cheated on his wife with everyone. The moment we look at another guy (white, black, other ethnic groups in south asia, Asian, Middle eastern), not only does our own have something to say, but everyone else stereotypes us and wants to control us? Fuck all of you.

I couldn’t stand rumena….. I never post hate comments tho and never have with her , but she used to annoy me…. seeing her personal growth thru her self reflection and self insight she’s grown to become such a likeable individual and I think her journey is so beautiful and refreshing…. She’s so humble and honest and I just adore her now….. she’s a gem the way she delivers her stories and experiences and carries herself with grace. My comment might come across as “is this a compliment or an insult :)” but I wanna make it very clear that it’s the biggest compliment to a really strong and beautiful woman
Awwww thank you so much sis I really admire your honesty lots of love and Duas ♥️♥️♥️
DAMN she doesn’t look fair here, this is her normal skin tone, she needs to stop lightening her skin tone in her pictures!
and this is what the podcast mentions people like you who troll/hate, get a life she can do what she wants
Pakistanis don't own light skin. She still will outshine others in a beauty contest because her features are better.
@@Layla-k6fit’s not ‘trolling’ or ‘hating’. It’s calling out hypocrisy.

Rumena is lovely ! I remember around 7 years ago when she started out on insta , my 5 year old was obsessed with her and would often imitate her, I sent rumena a video and she sent a video reply back to my daughter! Very very sweet girl ❤
Awww sis how old is she now? Please tell her that I’m sending her lots of love and hugs thanks so much ♥️♥️♥️

@@flahk6277 fair enough actually. But I do think other influencers also do this.
@@flahk6277 Every influencer does that. Snapchat filter makes everyone look better, not always lighter but pops up features. You're holding her to a higher standard. It's probably because she's bengali. She's not responsible for speaking out or being the change when it comes to colourism, nor does she represent any group of people. Get off your high horse! You people are insufferable.
She made arrogant mistakes. She got slammed and life has happened. She went away and came back better. This is the most humbled, grounded and articulate we've seen her. Let her be now. We've all been shitty and served in our life. And if you haven't, you will. Its human. Let her move on now and be this more matured, refined and better version of herself. Every human deserves to move forward. She's come into growth, and credit where its due, she's returned a better human. Not a fan. But wish her well nonetheless.

I thought she said she dropped out of law, did she get a degree?
She dropped out

It’s upsetting to see how our ummah is
Aww thanks so much lots of love ♥️♥️♥️
Awww you’re so sweet thanks so much sis lots of love and Duas ♥️♥️♥️

Why are all the comments about how she looks? She's not a supermodel. She's still gorgeous, people shouldn't have a problem.
Really enjoyed watching this!! 👏
Sorry but you laughed about people living with in laws. How sad!
The amount of times she uses the word 'honestly'. Work on your vocab, girl.
You know i can’t believe I’m saying but I can relate to a lot of the things she has to say ! I mean I get it! Simple
She broadcasts it worldwide. That's the issue
Miss Mahmoud no wonder ur divorced
