1990 Volkswagen Caravelle is maybe not the most worshipped car for the car enthusiast, but having a great experience with a Syncro, the raised version of this car, Åsmund Slorum from Gjelleråsen decided to go the other way. He slammed his Caravelle, and the result is surprisingly cool!

Of course the Syncro is, almost, the best car of the world!
Thirteen years of 2wd t25 driving and ten years of a Syncro, having many hundred thousands kilometers per each, are enough to say that there is no comparison between 2wd vs Syncro. The 2wd is, just, a very unique, a very different, fine car.
On the other hand, a lowered t25 is Dangerous, since the, ingenious, passive safety of the car is defeated, having a linear connection to the riding height.
A Syncro t3(t25), have some steps to be done in order to climb on the first position of the history of the car, but this is another subject.

Did the Porsche steering wheel fit directly?. My steering shaft on my t3 is thin and the Porsche steering did not fit.

First, it’s amazing good looking vanagon, that’s what I like about vw’s, very clean cars . How do you figure out about the slide door? Do you have any clearance with the rear right wheel? Thank you. I have 91’ vanagon but when I try different wheels. Slide door doesn’t open. Not enough clearance with the wheel🫤🫤🫤🫤🫤🫤

I've got 11" wide Porsche Twist wheels on my Vanagon and I lengthened the slider hinge bracket and everything clears easily. Super easy to do.
