@@jasonthomas9729nope, s3 has zero progress in terms of answering any questions at all, by far the worst, it keeps dragging on the same issues for the entire season with no progress at all. There is almost no character development as well, apart from fatimah ..all characters pretty much stayed exactly the same, I was hoping for Randall at least be super hateful towards Boyd, but nope he almost forgets the incident immediately and hang out with Jim daughter, I guess pussy over hate 🤣
My bro, this show came from the people who made Lost. Their formula is to string along the viewers with ever increasing mystery to spike the rating and when it drops, they immediately wrap things up leaving things (a lot of things) unanswered. Hey, I like From, but I prefer my mystery tv series has a proper structure. Right now, From is stuck in the setup, and ever elaborate setup...
If the set up was over, how in the world would they fill a couple more seasons of the show? The problem with From is that it kept introducing new mysteries that seemingly had nothing to do with the rest of the show
When they have a meeting after Tabitha's come back, I was like "Finally! Get talk!" and 5 minutes later Jade being like: "Why should we go there and talk? Waste of time" , and all it was said at the meeting was "You could've done it better, Tabitha". Meh.
Yeah Kenny has given up and so has Boyd. Remember how the rent was dragged and they appeared by the webs? Why did they ever have to go back? Sara was outcast and voted wanted answers so why ever go back? Just because the spider bit him? Nope The only reason to go back is the wrtiters changed their minds and couldn’t figure out another way to do the worms thing that went absolutely no where at all. What about the yellow bile? So many questions that they will never answer because there are no answers to. I gurentee even after getting answers at this point we will still be wondering.
E7 was the worst of the series so far and S3 is worse than S2, which was hard to achieve. Some have tried to push the narrative this show is about trauma and "human dimension" to hide the fact this season is a total let down. Most likely the last 2 ep will give some answers (but more questions), will close some of the astronomical amount of storylines opened and developed in a nonsense way, and will end with some impactful cliffhanger, but that won't change the fact this season was a scam.
I definitely preferred s1 over s2 but I think when s3 is done it could be the best yet. Ep7 was the weakest yet and I still liked it. I love this show and I'm certain we're getting big answers and reveals by the end of s3
Am I the only one yelling to these characters while watching the show? There are so many mysteries that I forgot about all of the old ones. So many things not answered, and the dialogues are so dumb. What the heck is that police officer playing a teenage girl? And Boyd being moralist and just going out for casual walks? They simply flushed away characters in this season. That’s the worst season so far.
I mean the police officer is literally straight out of the academy so acting childish and entitled is sorta on brand. Also Boyd is slowly being ripped apart inside so of course we're not seeing the same confident albeit cocky Boyd that we saw last season.
Season 1 was great, season 2 started weak but quickly got better, season 3 has just felt random the whole time. Even this mystery village with the totems and food, it's faded into the background other than as a grocery store. No exploration out there, nothing about why it's there or why the food still grows, why they are log cabins like people made them rather than houses like in the town but maybe even more old fashioned. How did people even live in the log cabins without the talisman? Something wanders around out there at night, what is it?
@@farexponent9173 Because they've been completely dropping other plot lines, like the monsters and the yellow bile, stuff with the worms didn't really go anywhere after the monster was killed, Boyd wanted to capture a monster, Sara has just been hanging out all season other than building a tent with Victor, Tilly got out tarot cards and a crazy bird flew into the window but nothing really happened as a result. Like the monster bile seems to just be a lot of screen time just to shoot a monster and nothing happens. I just have a bad feeling quite a bit of what we're seeing is just window dressing but won't actually impact the plot. Like Jade 'breaking' the totem to get Kristi's foot out of the trap seems to have had no impact to anything. The whole thing with Jim and the voice on the radio seems to be nothing anymore.
@@ansizfark most of the things you mentioned are again about foresight. They are very clearly building towards answer some questions. Why are you acting like last episode was the final episode of the season? The only person that has seen this "new monster" is Tabitha and last episode ended with her remember more things about her "dream"
@@farexponent9173 I agree. If anything all these new details added to the show are just paving the way to make more seasons, but I still think that everything will connect in the end.
There are just too many story lines and not enough time spent on each per episode. Each scene with a group of characters is like 2-5 minutes, so it feels like nothing happens.
i don't see the criticism for this episode. it moved along the plot of everything that's happen so far, and going into the last 3..i figure this is a set up. its not like nothing happen and if you pay attention you see what is going on...Fatima is turning into the kimono lady, Tabitha and Jade figured out they are destined for the town no matter what ...Victors story did not advance but it's clear that it will in the next 3..people are impatient. Now if this series was released all at once like Netflix, nobody would really be that upset at this episode.. but since it's weekly everyone wants to throw a tantrum. Get over it.
S3 E7 said....hold my beer 🍺 😂
Not even close. Season 3 is way better, people are just impatient. The plot is about to ramp up in the next 3 episodes.
