    So you asked some team leaders, directors, managers and directing managers about their quality of life and they said said it was great. What a surprise.

      Ewa L. Even as a black and poor girl life in Vienna is amazing!!You don't have to be rich to enjoy life here. 😊

      That caught my eye. How are the locals and what is the music scene like?

    • @beatrice3371

      Adonis Warchild The Viennese are actually really nice and funny once you really get to know them. The music scene in Vienna is very diverse. Although a lot of tourists might think the Viennese only listen to classical music we also have very good pop and hiphop artists. You can also discover new artists at some of our open mics. Hope this was helpful.😊

      Ewa typical small mindedness and ignorance has led you to that conclusion of course. Vienna is safe all around and enjoyable for everyone of many socioeconomic levels. You sound American so not surprised

    There are many complaints, that the people in this video are well-situated and don't show how live for the average Viennese person is. Which is true. But the things they name as "making Vienna liveable" are accessible for everyone and people from Floridsdorf or Favoriten do them as well: going to a park, to a bar or coffee house, enjoying nature, and of course public services like free kindergarden, perfect public transport, social housing, etc.

    When it was still 150 years since NYC was no longer just a river surrounded by Indians, Vienna was already cosmopolitan, and it received musicians, composers and painters from Russia, Italy, Germany, France and England, in its conservatories of music and renowned arts schools , to refine their work. LMFAO. Vienna is first class ever

    • @screambeyond
      @screambeyond 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The problem is that Vienna remains almost like in those times. Except for very small circles, it is a terribly conservative city. There are a lot of arts, but terribly academic and very focused on pleasing rich people who go to theatre and galleries just as a social protocol. Or in other worlds, terribly bourgeois.

      @Bernd DasBrot What a bs!!! I have lived in Vienna in the 80"s. Local Austrian at that time paid less then 1000 schilling. Not foreigners. I tried to find an apt using newspaper. The landlords were so rude. They screamed Kein Auslander bitte!! on the phone. Eventually, a friend who works at UN introduced me to an agency. They charged three months rents as fee and three months deposit. At that time the rent was 6000schillings plus I have to pay my own utility. To move in an apt I need to pay 36000 schillings plus tax for the contract. You local Viennese don't know how foreigners are screwed. In the States, such behaviours are illegal, those landlords could go to jail.

    • @dustinhoffman1763
      @dustinhoffman1763 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Bernd DasBrot Whoever you are. You are absolutely ignorant to talk about money. Our American Government and international members contributed so much to rebuilt Vienna after WWII. Do you know how much UNO city, IAEA and OPEC contributed to your city by having office in Vienna? Stop being ignorant. A typical ignorant Vienne trying to rip off foreigners.

    Nomade Moderne. If this channel is all about Vienna, then you need to make a video about Nomade Moderne. It is a bespoke hat shop in your city. A hat shop that crafts all their hats by hand in Vienna and uses only the finest Austrian felts. The hats they make are completely creative and are each unique pieces of art. They've inspired me so much that i now want to become a hat maker. In fact, i want to learn from Nomade Moderne most of all. I'm an American, but I love Austria (my family immigrated from their) and I think a video on Nomade Moderne would be great.

    Hmm, all these people are comfortably off. My son lives in Vienna & teaches English in a kindergarten. He earns probably 1/8th of what they do & struggles make ends meet in the city. He does love it all the same. As an incomer who spoke no German he did well to settle 7 years ago.

    Great video thanks! I currently have a corporate job in London and I’m thinking of moving to Vienna (for personal reasons), as the same company also has an office in Vienna…how difficult is it for an English-only speaker there…? Is German a must all the time or are there expats who work and just speak English…? Many thanks!

      Well I don't really know to be honest. But you can look online I guess. As I said, it depends on the area. The 1st district is very expensive. We used to live in the 21st district in a small apartment for a cheap price though.

      Seems u need to invest in Fixed Deposit of amount around 3 crores in any of the nationalized bank in Austria. After 5 years u will get citizenship. And u know very well u will get interest for ur fixed Deposit on monthly or quarterly basis and u could lead a lavish lifestyle there.
      If u have money, u will easily get citizenship in any country.
      Only money makes things.

    Klar Wien ist schoen wenn man gleich um den 1. Bezirk wohnt :) Wien war Anfang 2000 noch um einiges besser. Heute finde ich die Stadt mehr und mehr "versandelt" wenn man das so sagen darf. Abgeshen davon hat man 8-9 Monate scheiss Wetter.. Ich bin froh nicht mehr in Wien leben zu muessen.
