guys, I just want to remind everyone this guy has made 11 videos. He is new at this yet these feel incredible professional. The camera work, music and editing make it feel as though you are a massive youtuber with a full team at your disposal.
Fr, it feels so professional. Let's us have a really good look at the skills he built over the years and helps me appreciate his craft. Not even just the recording and videoing too, his narrations and music choices are also good. Bless this dude, hope his channel grows much bigger
In general I think your star cut is one of the coolest finishes I've seen on a die, but for this material specifically I like seeing as much of the flat as possible for the beautiful colors. Amazing work as always!
The final reveals with the pitch black background are a-grade. Absolute masterpieces! I would love to see them projected on every surface of a museum exhibit or at an underground rave. Yum!
I love the look of your star cut on single colour gems or those with more simple internal patterns, like the amethyst and the christmas garnet, but for something with as much going on inside as this opal sharp edges really seem like the move. Incredible work!!
Considering your works are $1,200 a piece with additional cost dependant on the complexity, I would say that your work is worth every dollar your customers have. Awesome! Love your work!
This was great! I like to see the emotion that each stone creates as you craft from them - some seem easier to handle, and some like this one seemed to bring more frustration and required more improvisation and a lot more thought into the process. The end result is beautiful as always, and especially here I think that changing your plan partway through and not doing the star cuts was definitely the right call. Thank you for sharing!
Absolutely phenomenal. The sharp edges and simplicity work so well with opal as it is such a unique, striking stone that is so mesmerising. I think you made a good choice keeping it simple to not distract from the beauty of the stone.
The light pink paint shows up so nicely on the opal. It adds a touch of unassuming gentleness, enticing foes to lower their guard, only for the full force of the die's rainbow power to hit with all the more force. The mark of a true artist is that they can use their medium to tell incredible and nuanced stories, no matter the material or craft.
1:36 Couldn't stop myself from saying "Cool, the D6 is finished!" 🤣 The finished D20 is beautiful. I've never heard of Bello Opal before, but it's a really neat effect as it rolls. You definitely made the right choice to de-round the facets.
One thing I love about these videos are the difference between the aesthetic shots and the general footage, the latter being all wide shots that are purely functional to let us know what’s happening, and all the prettier footage is close up and perfectly focused as if we’re looking through his own eyes
The glamour shots at the end showcased all the beauty of this material and all the work you put into this die, they were phenomenal! It literally gave me goosebumps.
I see notification, I clicked and liked so fast 🥰 this piece is suuuuper gorgeous. The flashes are so bright, the die is basically alive 😍 thank you for all the hard work you do. 🙏 merry blessed Christmas to you and your family and channel team! 🎉
Just the combination of the beauty of this dice, combined with the music and the processes. The attention to detail and the care placed in this. It elevates it to a piece of REAL art! You can be SO PROUD of yourself, it's so beautiful!
I don't know what I like the most about your videos: the process or the outcome. Both are incredibly satisfying. You're an artist and these dice are jewels.
you make the most amazing dice. one day I will purchase one of these from you. whenever someone visits they will have to roll it for some kind of wild magic effect
All the shots, choices of music, and the creative/troubleshooting process itself really hit me in the feels. The die is fantastic, in every sense of the word.
I really like the additional commentary you have in these more recent videos, especially about what kind of character would be using each particular die. Amazing job as always!
I stopped looking at your videos for a while jsut because. Now I come and you have amazing music and a very compelling narration. It really imporved. thank you
You've done it again. In my opinion opals are the most beautiful stones. Each one has its own unique patterns, its own colors, and hence, its own personality. Thank you so much for making this video.
An absolutely stunning die. You my sir have not only sparked my love for geometry again but for my drive to get into stone cutting. You truly are a master at this. I would do anything to own a d20 from you.
This was so gorgeous! Opals are my favorite stones. An interesting crystal you could try is aquamarine, as they have high clarity and the crystals can be massive.
TH-cam algorithm working wonders again. Not a tabletop game fan but been obsessed with Baldurs gate 3 last couple weeks so got dice on my mind and got recommended these videos. My God the quality of your work in both faceting and video production is insane, your videos themselves are just as immersive as the games played with the die you create
I absolutely love Opal both natural and synthetic, but this is first class craftsmanship. Pure class, I always look forward to your videos, great chill vibes completed by incredible skills. The finished D20 is an absolute gem.
This is really some of your finest craftsmanship. I have always loved opals as far back I can remember. So much more fire than any other gem. Magnificent!
Beautiful as always -- and I think the simpler cut worked for that colorful stone. Among the patches of color, I think the smaller facets of the stars would have gotten lost. Every knitter has made the mistake of buying a beautiful variegated yarn and making a cabled sweater out of it, only to learn that the cables got lost in the color patches and all the extra work was for nothing. And it was interesting to see the difference a perfectly flat face made. I did indeed think that the slightly rounded faces looked fine ... until you showed the perfectly flat ones, and then the difference was noticeable.
Watching on my break at work and it really brightened my day. Your work is always stunning and seeing the process in such cinematic beauty is a real treat. Thank you!!!
So freaking good! I don't know how many dice I have ended up buying because of your videos *looks up bello opal next*. Also the Vivladi music at the end made me giggle. Throwback to Debeers. Ha! Great stuff!
That’s such an awesome piece!!! I agree that sharp corners suit it well, and I think that bright bismuth pink for the numbers makes the perfect complement to the purpley overtones of the opal!
I love every die you make. Every new thing you try, every new material, they're all amazing, and thank you for uploading these videos. I look forward to seeing them. My favourite cut is the one you did on the amethyst, with the frosted edges. That was magical.
guys, I just want to remind everyone this guy has made 11 videos. He is new at this yet these feel incredible professional. The camera work, music and editing make it feel as though you are a massive youtuber with a full team at your disposal.
Agreed. I stumbled on this and dont know how, but i am subbed. Keeps me watching and interested the entire time

I found him when he still had only like 5 videos and I was blown away for the same reason. They've just kept getting better too!
thats really inspiring tbh
as a gemcutter he is precise ... not just when it comes to cutting the dice!
edit: oh wow unintentional rhyme xD
There is something about just turning gems into dice that I really like. Keep up the amazing work 👍
Thank you very much!
*(proceeds to smash your window, turn it into a die and roll d20 for persuasion)*
@@j-j-jingles4797 oh no you're one of those.
@@brianmylesrothstein7660Yeah, surprisingly, there's a lot of DnD players in this guy's comment section. weird
@@alekosthecrow not the DnD thing, my guy. The "roleplaying your actions at people as if it would do anything in real life" thing.
The dramatic music really turns these into mini documentaries. I like the attention to detail for more than just the dice.
You're really good at making gemstones look edible.
It’s ok. You’re not alone.
In general I think your star cut is one of the coolest finishes I've seen on a die, but for this material specifically I like seeing as much of the flat as possible for the beautiful colors. Amazing work as always!
The finishing shots were absolutely magical. Amazing work as per usual. This video's like a little holiday treat.
dude i love how you started adding more narratives into the die making process, VERY great work, man, keep doing your best and merry christmas!!!
I will be adding more information stuff. I would love to inspire a few to take up this hobby.
@@hedronrockworksyou’re getting so close, maybe 2 more videos and I’m in, full send 😂
The final reveals with the pitch black background are a-grade. Absolute masterpieces! I would love to see them projected on every surface of a museum exhibit or at an underground rave. Yum!
The color you chose for the numbering is great, I wasn't expecting anything to contrast super well against that material but it's very readable.
Imagine gold
High vis green would have worked as well, I think. But I like the bubblegum pink for this application.
A simpler cut is definitely the right choice for a die like this. It already has so much going on it doesn't need more.
I love the look of your star cut on single colour gems or those with more simple internal patterns, like the amethyst and the christmas garnet, but for something with as much going on inside as this opal sharp edges really seem like the move. Incredible work!!
Seeing it roll was amazing! What a wonderful creation.

I really love the choice of classical music for these videos. To me, it's a perfect compliment.

Vivaldi - Winter is such perfect scoring for the absolute DRAMA of this d20! Stunning and gorgeous!!
Wish I could learn a trade like this. Looks incredible, amazing work. Editing was also amazing.
My favorite that you've done was the amethyst where you scratched the edges. Really made the facets pop.
I loved the amethyst d20 with the frosted edges. The frosted edges really highlighted the sparkle of the faces.
I don't play D&D, but I love this craft. Bravo sir.
That final edit was fire, the lining up with the music was perfect
i think this is by far the most beautiful one i've seen
Another beautiful piece of art, They are so vibrant, colorful, and Beautiful!
Unbelievable. The end product is jawdropping and a marvel to look at. It's so beautiful. What a one of a kind piece of art.

Notifications that you have a new post are the highlight of my day. Thanks for sharing your craft!
I think this is the most stunning one you've made to date, and 100% agree on it being the perfect die for a wild-magic caster.
The best one so far!
A work of art.
Each time I see your finished Art pieces, I just smile. Thank you for the many inspired moments.
i love watching your videos, it just reminds me of being in an old wood cabin in the woods with a friend mid winter and chatting about life.
Wow I love this visual.

Sharp edge dice will always be my favorite. The pure beauty of platonic solids feels magical in itself.
One of my absolute favorite pieces you've made.
I love how different this process is from normal, it is so beautiful as a dice
those colors are beyond words! i usually prefer the star bevels you make, but i agree on this one they would have probably been too much
John Keats once wrote, "A thing of beauty is a joy forever." This, my good sir, is a thing of beauty.
literally stunning - the colors and sparkle STUN me 🤩🤩🤩
Love these videos they are satisfying to watch!
This is honestly just the prettiest D20 I’ve ever seen. Incredible work!
Love watching your process and what you create - So cool, thanks for sharing!
An absolute stunning master piece. Good job.
The purple D20 with the star cut and frosted edges is the best one so far. THAT cut was amazing!
I absolutely love your work, not only is the end result stunning but I learn nifty things about the gems I didn't know.

You are spot on with the flatness of the faces. It looks ok rounded. But there is just something about that super flat face that screams quality.
This has to be one of my favorite channels. Always am intrigued by how they go from gem to dice.
A stunning work of art as always.

Unreal beauty. Happy Holidays
So beautiful. Thanks for rolling it!! 👍👍👍
Trop magnifique, comme à chaque fois
Can i just say the music choice in this vid was PHENOMENAL
Semplicemente meraviglioso! Buon Natale!
Man you never fail to absolutely amaze me with these mesmerizing D20s. You are an amazing artist with superb craftsmanship.
Absolutely stunning!
I have never cut a gem in my life, but know the magic of the D20. You are incredibly satisfying to watch, and your passion is contagious ❤
Can you try amber with an insect in it.
That would be mental!!!
And depending on where the insect is and the weight of it vs the weight of the amber you might roll a few more 20s
how about an smokey green epoxy resin with a nurgle chaosbspace marine helmet in it.
sorry fat fingers
Insects arent heavy enough to make it a loaded die@@Bodgie7878
Wow... that turned out to be an amazing D20
Always worth watching these videos, it's so interesting!
Dont forget this guy is a world beer pong champion. The sheer level of badassness
Just stunning work
One day, I might get tired of watching you make these incredible dice.
But god, today's not that day.
