Things were so easy as a teenager, even when I thought they were hard. Adult life is busy and endless. I wish I had the time to wander in the rain with headphones on again.
I graduated from med school 3 weeks ago and i'm going to start as a resident next week. This will be a big change in my life. Whenever such a change was going to happen i started to think about the past and diving through distant memories. This mix is just perfect for that. I really miss the past sometimes. Things and life were so easy as a child / teenager. Adult life is better in many aspects but this naive kind of joy and enjoyment of life characterising childhood and teenage years never came back.. Thank you very much. Your mixes helped me a lot while studying - especially during finals and completing my thesis!
I was 19, a year out of HS and the world felt so fresh and new. The 80’s were the best imo & I wish I could have slowed it down to really appreciate it more but that’s the folly of youth more times than not. At the end of the day I was so very lucky to have the youth I got.
Everything was so much better then. Back in those days there were no mobile phones and no social media crap...just me and my walkman cassette player...those were the days...😥
Thank you soo much for these mixes I miss the freedom of my childhood days but I truly miss the simplicity of those times today's world is so complicated and just down right crazy right now I wish ppl would go back to the mindset of the past 😔🙏❤️
I'm pretty sure those were the doors to the east wing of my high school (Class of '89!) Mr Anderson's English class is behind us, two doors on the left.
Brilliant mix and the pic takes me back to the good old days. That said that image with the VHS type effect also feels like one that Sadako or some sort of horror movie abomination would come out of xD
That feeling... mom dropping you off at school, walking down those old hallways, open up your locker, jam all your stuff into it, grab your MP3 Player and walk around the school till your friends showed up and chill together till that first bell rang... Funny how at the time it seemed so lame, but now, I kinda miss it. I'll meet you in our favorite spot outside and we can walk around together 😊 See you there! Much love and have a great day everyone! Thanks babym 💚
I turned it on, in the background, while I was developing the game, I noticed that in the first track ambient sounds like a siren, but it turned out that in fact I heard a real air raid siren, bruh💀
In early 2022 I found the Turkey Slurpee girl's private instagram. I added her and sent her a DM. 6 months later I had butterflies in my stomach as I drove to the airport to meet her for the first time in person. Last night I proposed to her and she said YES! I'm going to be Mr. Turkey Slurpee and I couldnt be happier.

And then ya die! 👍
Just don't be afraid to do it again
😭me too
@@harry54ck Its not that easy. Trying to "go home again" never works. Always feels forced.
I would have been 13 in 1989. Those junior high school days seem unreal now, like a dream or like they happened to someone else.
I was 14 and same.

A very iconic liminal space.

What is the song from the very beginning 00:00:00 to 00:04:10? And again in 00:27:31 forward? Thanks!

Lmao puts 20 to 40 year old birth dates in the title of something random to get people to feel they relate 😂
I probably did half of views 😂
Yep, that's how 21 century medias work! Its OK not to listen and catch something else! Cheers!😊
