I didn’t grow up in the U.S. during the ’90s-I was in Nepal, watching glimpses of America on TV. What I see and experience now, after living here for over a decade, feels nothing like what I imagined back then. The streets, the people, the fashion, the energy, the laughter, the music, the movies-everything that defined the U.S. in the early ’90s seems to have vanished by the time I arrived around 2014. I wish I had the chance to experience that era. Reading these TH-cam comments makes me feel like I missed out on a golden time. Still, I’m grateful to be here and proud to be part of American society.

"We're having fun, we're almost done, we're the class of '91." That was the slogan for our graduating high school class that year.

I don't think anyone has ever been as nostalgic as 30+ year olds today, I think 90s, early 2000s are years most looked back at with nostalgia. So many say they wish to go back, it feels perfect looking from here, balanced, just right. Yet change does its thing, dances its dance, and I guess if we see that it wasn't meant to last, it was a passing show, somehow makes it more special but easier to let go of and walk on.

Could we get a list of the songs included here? There are a couple of real good ones I keep hearing in your mixes but I sadly don't know their names.

It is cruel what the illusion of time does to us. It all seems so different but in the same time it is not, we are still living now. But people seem to be less truththful even with themselves. It seems that the gloomy perspective of the future came, not as we expected, but surprisingly more like what Ted Kaczinsky expected it would be. We should go back hosting our own web sites free from big media platforms. Its super cheap and easy today, you doesnt even have to program anything. Some years ago there was so many amazing web sites to search, they all died.

I always love accompanying visuals. A channel that has slideshows to go with their mixes has become one of my favorites lately, but the videos are so sweet. Thank you very much for this!

Born in the tail end of analogue technology and into the revolution of digital. When the internet was young and it potentials where yet to be discovered. When buying a roll of film was soon to no longer be common place. When all you needed for a good time was video games and pizza with friends or siblings. Truly simpler times would be a thing of the past. 30 now and understand what my mom meant when she said don't grow up too fast.

Но, мне нравится погружаться в это настроение, которое я не помню, и чувствовать тоже что эти люди. Я даже почувствовал кажется, их воспоминания.

The age of innocence.

Born in 1992. Now having Gen-Z teenagers asking me how 9/11 was like. Feeling old. But I will always have those late 90s/early 2000s memories... rainy days, optimism and the importance of truth, stability and structure. All gone now. But I will always carry those feelings with me. It makes me happy, knowing I've experienced the old world, before it was all gone.

I like how these kinds of videos include World Trade Center images. It's like the death of this era came with the death of those towers. Eerie but interesting to think about.

feel good when think back to 1990s. for me the world were change after 9/11.

It's crazy to me how listening to nostalgic synth music and reading your comments hurts my soul. Being born in Croatia in '89, we didn't really have the childhood in the 90's that most of you romanticise, due to the war that lasted from '91 to '95. However, everything after that was something I long for so deeply. Those who were lucky to grow up in good families and societies truly had the most incredible childhoods in human history. Everything changed with the rise of social media. I am so thankful to have had the childhood that I did.
