As a former army medic and a preacher of the gospel, my husband says it’s a privilege and a thrill to learn from a true grill master. We thank you for the respect you show the flag and to vets. Thank you for being willing to share your cooking skills with us earnest learners. God bless and we’ll see you on the Calvary trail!

Good to see you're both well. Those beignets looks delicious. Thanks to you we bought a big Dutch oven so my next cook will be those little wonders ...
As a young man growing up in rural France in the 80's we usually had them as a treat for "Mardi-Gras" or... "Fat Tuesday"!!! Many great memories, making costumes for carnival in a village of a few hundred people and eating beignets all day long...
Anyway, keep well, take care of yourselves.

I made these for Easter breakfast today, in peanut oil, and they turned out perfect - so good I even gave the dog a couple bites! One of my sons ate an even dozen. Lotta people want to fill them, but I think the taste stands on its own, with some plain old powdered sugar. God Bless!

safety tip. if you go thru oklahoma where Kent is at and need to fill your gas tank up, Please make sure you hold onto the door when opening the car door or you will not like the surprise...at times good luck if you park into the wind and try to open up the door. Dad told me this just before going to Oklahoma, he was from Hollis Ok.
