So you changed a analog signal to a digital signal.

There is both analog and digital signal. There is a slider on the board that produces an analog signal when the trigger slides down and a membrane button when the trigger bottoms out that gives a digital signal. The membrane button is replaced with the mechanical keyboard switch.
