can anybody help me to find a pedal that can challenge this one? Dfntly subbed, tks for the video. I already own the Pro Version of the Fat Metal, Tight Metal, Big Rock and Tight Drive. Will never get enough of Sir James' Jewels.
@@greggoryblock1071 Interesting opinion though I stand to disagree. I've never owned the Diezel but I did try it on two occasions and it sounded too dark and dull to me. Plus, it's a very "chugg-sounding" pedal. I guess it's great for djent and modern metal though. But the Megalith sounds more amp-like to me and I like the tone/voicing better.
@@MCHiphopotamus did you try the diezel into a power amp or in front of a clean amp? Through a power amp it is incredibly bitey and has unbelievable clarity and sustain. Zero darkness or dullness. Its ridiculously amp like.
@@greggoryblock1071 I tried it in front of a clean amp :( It was in a shop so I couldn't ask for a specific setup. I'm pretty sure it would have sounded much better through a power amp! You're perfectly right about that!
This started out really good, and then you tweaked yourself off the map... I think you can do better, when you know the pedal and its uses better, sorry ;)
Stuntman D29 I’ve been looking around TH-cam some videos have great low end others don’t, it probably depends on the rig, I think there is also a fat metal pro, same as this one but it has more low end so better for the rigs that are more treble present

Awesome, I have the Tight Metal Jr. pedal but this one with the EQ is awesome and I kinda want this one too
This sounds like it would be an awesome option for those looking for a TOOL sound on a budget.
Really cool distortion. Great demo.
Love it off the bat
Think my search is over

The MI Audio Megalith Delta is better to me. Sounds more like an amp (but the demos on TH-cam are terrible...). And I own both :)
The diezel herbert pedal is by far the most incredible amp like crushing tone monster ever. This sounds good, but not even close to the herbert pedal.

Good demo thanks.
Sounded like RP Mercy of Slumber at 0:37
Its not available in my country very sad

This thing has zero low end it sounds like?

I own one and i can assure you it got plenty of low end.
Sounds like it has way too much low end judging from this video.
Bähh
Not a big fan of this one. It sounds very much like a pedal to me, and doesn't have that tube amp quality to it.
