Lol, i made this headcanon design for ”Accord” way back in late 2011-early 2012ish before that arc in the comics even came out. He actually was originally supposed to be an eastern dragon but i thought alicorn would make more sense.

I personally choose to believe that Accord does exist as a separate entity similar to discord, and would show up after Fluttershy risks her life and is on her death bed. Seeing how much discord cares for her, Accord gives up their immortality and role in the world of equestria to fluttershy. Passing on the order and harmony magic to her as a result. Thus fluttershy becomes the spirit of Order and Harmony, unlike Discord though she wouldn't be a mix of creatures. Instead she'd be able to shapeshift in a far stronger way than Changelings, even objects. Also strangely immune to a certain bell. Also much like Discord, she has to use her magic as intended or disappear... Their house would probably be a weird mix of Chaos and Order. Reason Accord would also give up their powers, is because Fluttershy brings order to Discord's life.
This is the kind of back story I would love to see fleshed out... well, not in actual flesh mind you. I'm not Lost... (sigh) yes, I'm not Losty. (sniff)
I actually do have a story about this called “Age of the Alicorns: Chaos Rising” which is about how Discord (formerly Accord) took over Equestria and how Celestia and Luna stopped him as kids (I wrote it before we saw that one flashback in the S4 premiere). Unfortunately I’ve had it on the back burner for years now but I would like to go back and make edits and then continue because I’m getting close to the part where Discord comes in.
It’s just my headcanon since they never explained his full backstory in the show. Crazily enough they never did anything in the show to debunk it, so they left s ton of room open for interpretation after the show.

@@KristenHaggerty-r5k I'm guessing that was supposed to spell "draconequus". And in my story, he doesn't turn into an alicorn, it's the other way around. He's born an alicorn but eventually becomes a draconequus. He does have a pony head after all.
It's my idea for a younger Discord before he learned chaos magic and turned into a draconequus. He was good and used to work for Celestia and Luna's dad. As his name implies, he was also like the opposite of how he is now and was more obsessed with order.
