Martin you certainly have some nice finds this month, especially the huge Tonka car carrier, certainly enjoyed watching my friend, you take care , see ya 👋😎🚚🚒🚙🚗🛻
Some really cool finds Martin, the first truck looked like it was used as a money box, due to the slot in the front top of rear body, plenty to keep you of the streets 😂, enjoyed the video and vintage cars Cheers 🍻 🇦🇺🦘😎👌🪃😊🍻
@martindaredare you're welcome Martin, and always enjoy your videos, some of those oldies bring back memories, we are doing ok, hope you and yours are doing well also 🍻🍻🇦🇺🪃🦘🤙
Another great haul of treasure there Martin, my favourite is the larger blue tractor you found in the box you said was the rubbish box. That tractor certainly isn't rubbish, it's a Britains Fordson Major, I was so envious when I saw it, Britains tractors are my favourite. I hope you do a video of it soon. I also liked the little blue and blue/yellow Matchbox Ford tractors out of the same box, I had one in blue/yellow when I was a little lad. It brought back many fond memories. Wow those big Triang and Tonka trucks are fantastic too. Looking forward to your next video. All the best. Peter. 👍 P.S. Martin, I'm sending you a model donation to add to one of the models you showed us today in this video.
Thanks very much Peter, I appreciate the information on the blue tractor. The tonka trucks are brilliant, I shall be doing a restoration video on one of the smaller ones soon ,maybe even start a separate channel, for tonka ,and large friction moter vehicles. All the best Martin
Excellent haul! Looking forward to ANY of those, guv'nor.... 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻 That Tonka transporter is bloody ginagerous; you'll need a whip round before you can buy paint for that puppy! 😂 Oh, yeah..... if you type Future Comet toy into the 'infernal contraption', there are some good pics of it......
Wow, another great haul this month Martin, I love the old Triang horse box, I remember when I was a kid , our neighbour was having a clear out and there were four or five big triang lorries in their bin at the gate, I plucked up courage to go and ask if I could have one, the lady came to the bin and asked which one I wanted, I chose a Thames Trader tractor unit, no trailer, I would have liked them all but I guess the rest of them went to the dump, I played and played with that truck but it didn’t last for the rest of my childhood 🤦🏻♂☹, the blue tractor, a Britains Fordson Major is well worth restoring, they usually go quite a lot of money when they come up for sale. Glad you enjoyed Dagfields, loads of sheds to look through, the only thing we found was the coffee and cake in the cafe was a bit expensive but there you go, I’m just a bit tight lol, I always really look forward to going there when we are over. Another great video, I really enjoyed it👍🏻😊 Take care, all the best, Nick🐸🐸🐸🐸
Thanks very much, Nick,I had been after one of the triang lorrys for a while ,so waiting paid off , Might consider starting a 2nd channel just for restoring tonka trucks and larger tin plate friction vehicles not sure yet 🤔
Some great finds. Always good to find vehicles in a complete or near complete condition. Very nice gifts. The dump truck is a Tonka Jeep. The car carrier is awesome. I have a tonka tractor in green and 1 in orange with the 2 wheel trailer. Also have a Mighty Tonka car carrier. Just restored 2 of the Tonka Jeep pickup trucks. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to seeing the restorations. Have a great day my friend 😊
Cheers Andy, thay are growing on me the more I get ,I wasn't 100% back in the day ,but I'm enjoying them now ,maybe a 2nd channel is needed just for tonkas and large friction vehicles. All the best Martin
Wow! The horsebox! Morris or Albion Reiver? - pretty much the same cab, back in the day, I'd guess... And I love the thought of Gary from India cold-calling you: poor chap! Some of that corrosion on the smallies looks like a leaking battery contaminating the Mazak... the Matchbox Triumph and sidecar are about right for a Code3 1:43 diorama, though. Ian Howell's Corgis were nice - the T-Bird was lovely, and the interiors on the convertibles very smart - and Mr Hulley's Box of Toot is brilliant! Luke's 3D stuff is VERY special indeed but Lee's Transporter really takes the biscuit! Great stuff, all of it!
Tank you Martin for another nice video, nice mix of vehicles. The big tractor is a Britains Fordson Major, actually one of my favorites. All the best for you and your Family, Take care.
Hi Martin you got some great purchases and bargains and donations I love the tonka car transporter and the tri ang horse van fantastic purchases and bargains and donations glad you all had a fantastic day at dagfields cheers for sharing your video
3:19 Carson Modelsports has a paint remover that softens modelers paint up enough to be scraped away. if the writing is a print there is a chance you can salvage it, maybe at least enough to create a decal from. my bottle with 100ml set me back some 15 euros I think. used it once to scrape off a slopped-on layer of humbrol off an old Siku plastics model, and it survived. :) 4:40 looks like a Mercedes to me, maybe a 318 type. 6:14 Ford Taunus 12m P4, the first generation front wheel driven, fired by a V-4. I got both versions of this model. :D 8:15 Ford C-600, or comething, I read somewhere. there are a lot of versions to this. :) 9:35 cute pennytoy. never seen one of those here. tuf-tots are showing up more frequently, though; I wonder how that worked. (Citroen DS19 Cabriolet Chapron) 16:25 aw man, a regular wheels beetle... looks like it got stuck in a puddle of liquid hamster for a while. :( 20:48 another victim of Harry the Hampster. :/ 26:05 but if they were stored in a shed under the workbench, the corrosion could very well have come from a leaky car battery. in that case there would be a hint of spoiled egg smell on them. 28:40 I'm more and more suspecting a battery. even the fumes from nearby can make stuff rot, which is why battery spaces rot out of some cars. :P 40:25 actually Lone Star. ;) 53:20 now THATS a mighty Tonka if I ever saw one. :) 55:00 wow. that's the same size of these Nylint trucks. though I once saw one at a classic car show which was big enough for a child to sit on. didn't dare askign for the price tag, tho. I was out of budget by then, anyway. XD that's a big pile this time. literally. :)
A very diverse collection of vehicles, Martin, plenty of Tonka , Would like to see you do the beast of a truck transporter, all the best to you and your family.
Great collection of old matchbox, before my dad's mate had one of the jeeps which when young seemed massive was great until the battery went flat and you couldn't open the doors or bonnet so had to break side window to get in.
I love the A35 van mate. That's my favourite out of this haul.I didn't realise you were visiting my part of the world, I live less than 3 miles from Dagfields mate.
Thanks very much, yes I learnt to drive in my mother's a35 ,great little car, next time I go to dagfeilds, I will give you a shout. All the best Martin
Hi Martin the truck at the beginning with atlas carrier on the front .I think it could possibly be a lorry mounted crane on the back as the one I drive and operate is a daft truck with an atlas .cheers
Hello Martin great video again a nice collection of items i do like the tonka car transporter i remember back when I was a kid. I away wanted one as for the tekno volvo FH you can get bits like window wipers and the new window screen and sun visor but Airlines make your own get some stiff very thin wire and wind it round an axle or something similar that diameter . Parts you can get from this place MAGUIRES MODELS OF CHELTENHAM they do most of tekno pasts . I will get down the shed soon and get some pictures of my collection of model 👍👌 Ralph
Hello Martin I hope you remember me have been off for some time hope to be back to watch more of your very nice work It's 1 am Pacific time so am going nice car's thanks 👍👍👍👍👍😊
Good stuff this month, Martin. That Future Comet toy is from an animated series, called Captain Future. That Tonka Transporter is a brute! Have fun stripping the paint off of that. Do you know anyone with a sandblaster?
Thanks Gerry, as it happens, I do know someone with a sand blaster , and I am considering buying a powder coating system . Glad you liked this months selection. All the best Martin
As others have said. It is one of the space vehicles which as part of the 'Captain Future' toy set. Most likely The Future Comet Set by either Popinica/ Popy and made in Japan or the Mattel version. This is the front section and is part of a much larger toy that has rocket launchers, winged body and wheeled rear end. Based om a TV series/comic strip that aired in the late 70's and early 80's. Didn't know you did railways too
Cheers for showcasing & the shout out. Some intersting atuff. The Tonka transporter was the show stopper & scene stealer.could venture to suggest find somewhere that does powdwer coating. Not the sames as doing it yourself i know, you get the fun of stripping & re-assembling
There is a youtube video about the future comet toy called Captain Future Comet Fantastic Toys and Merchandise Folge 3 Spezial Edition . The video is not in English but it does show the complete toy
Hello . I just did a search about the future comet toy and found an ebay item . This what was said about the future comet toy. Vintage Captain Future-Future Comet Space Vehicle Japan 1979 Mattel SUPER RARE!!

Hi my friend, thanks for watching
That red truck was in Ferrymasters colours!.
Thanks Terry, I wasn't shore ,so thanks very much
@@martindaredare The challenge would be to repair those covers with Ferrymasters colours.
Are they worth more after restoration? For reselling?
It depends. Nothing is as good as a mint boxed item ,but yes, they do have value, if it's a good restoration.
