Iran's strike was demonstrative & its main aim was to recalibrate the long unfair equation set in Syria, those goals have been achieved.
With a 2 week preparation time, and 5 countries defending you including the world's biggest military (which was given a warning) I think the 9 or so hits were impressive. I also don't believe the numbers of launches, many of Iran's missiles have dual or triple warheads, its also likely they used decoys so the actual number is probably overstated to give Israel enough of a W to deescalate.
Since the U.S. has previously lied about Iranian strikes (Laylat al Qadr & Martyr Soleimani operations) its 100% likely theyre lying again now about the failure and interception rates.

Iron Dome and David's Sling radars can plot impact points and then prioritize interceptors to the most threatening missiles, those that are tracking to hit nothing can be left, thus some missile that "Got Through", didn't really get through, they were let through.

No system is 100% perfect. Plus Iron Dome optimised for lower tech weapons that come from Hamas. Even if a few got through the overall interception was a success. Although if you calculate the entire exchange, including the counter strike plus the lost deterence value from not going all out against Iran as dictated by Israeli strategy, this is big L for Israel. Plus the long drawn out war in Gaza and the stalemate at the Northern border are bleeding it dry.
This whole operation has been an advantageous exchange for the Iranian Coalition leaving aside the massive death toll in Gaza.

Iran would have had to have more success in hitting targets in Israel to determine what is necessary to overwhelm Israeli defenses. The allied forces have a much larger & more dynamic economy & military industrial base, they can replenish & evolve much more effectively. An Israeli retaliation can be much more robust & invasive than this previous incident. No one wins with escalation, but is conflict likely to be inevitable regardless…

The strikes werent meant to really destroy much, they did destroy a couple to a few air defence launches, they did damage Nevatim air base, another air base and a mossad base in the Golan heights. The damages (depending on which base) were minimal, but were accurate to show to israel that "we can accurately hit your assets". Another important objective was the intelligence gathered by iran and another being technological demonstration, in videos you can see warheads splitting up into many, with some decoys and smaller warheads in which these smaller warheads actually had their own little booster that would then change direction and go for the target (which can be seen in a video of a couple of iron domes being destroyed). And this all brings it to one final objective: Deterrence. Iran was able to completely destroy the self righteous notion that Israel is invincible and cannot be hit by Iran. Israel is the most protected country in the world in terms of air defence and Nevatim airbase is the most protected place on earth. It is protected by the most powerful radars stationed in israel and US allies in middle east, THAAD, Patriot 3, Iron Dome, Arrow 3, Davids Sling, the US, french, british and IDF airforce, and many more. This created the notion of invincibility which gave way for israel to be a bully in the middle east, however, this attack completely shattered that, it was basically Iran saying "we can hit you, and we can hit you accurately without much interference, so think before you do something silly next time". Iran's ballistic missiles are designed to evade all those defences, and the fact is that they were relatively old ballistic missiles from 2015. The reason why the west and israel dont admit that Iran did hit israel is that they are embarrassed and that if the israeli population found out that they arent invincible, they will all use their dual-citizenships and run away. And one more embarrassing thing, Iran spent maximum $50 million on this whole operation while the 'defenders' spent more than a $1 billion, paid by yours truly the US tax payers money.
Edit: forgot to mention that the pictures and videos (provided by the IDF) of holes in the ground that are meant to be "missiles failing to hit their target" are all fake, in many of them you can literally see the dirt that they (IDF) dug out in the background.

The most important points were made at the end of the video... The massive distances between Israel and Iran make a war between the two of them logistically unwinnable for either side. Israel has the ability to hit Iran with airstrikes, but any strikes would be hugely limited by distance. Only a handful of platforms can hit targets at that distance and any damage delivered by that platform is likely fairly small. Iran does have a fairly large stockpile of ballistic missiles, but they would likely be expended fairly quickly and would take years to build capacity up again. A "full scale" war between the two countries would likely take the form of a massive ballistic missile barrage by Iran followed by literally nothing else as they have no capacity to do anything else. If the barrage was successful, then most of the Israeli air force would be destroyed before getting off the ground, although any large preparatory movement of Iranian missiles would likely be detected ahead of time. From there neither country would have any great capacity to hit the other and the war would be a shouting match with insults being launched from distances of over 600 miles. Only the United States or the Gulf states actually have any ability to conventionally defeat Iran, but neither have the will or desire to do so.

This is their strategy, not reported in the west because it makes them seem like... less evil... their goal is to make fighting a war unaffordable, and not kill people, as that would attract more angry western powers into the battle. They've been quite open about this, since before this attack, which seems to confirm it, as it cost $1.35Bln to defend against this one attack. They want Israel to move towards peace for everybody (not just white people) even if only for financial reasons.

Thank you for paying for the research - given you cannot publish the actual results. Still makes for great viewing!
