I expected Israel not to retaliate hard against Iran cos she's fighting three Iranian proxy forces (Hamas, Hezbollah & the Houties), and at the verge of lunching a major assault on the Gaza city of Rafah, a move that may likely see the end of the war in Gaza. Giving Iran full attention will be a distraction, and a diversionary tactic.
