Great video! Subscribed. I’ve had my jsw just over a year and love it too! Checkout the Malone stage 2 tune with rawtek delete and the Bosch cp3 hpfp swap. The tune adds about 30hp and 70ftlbs and puts your mpgs into the 50s! While the delete allows the motor to breath as it should. The hpfp swap will save your entire fuel system in event of the factory cp4 failure. I’ve also heard rear sway bars have a huge bang for the buck on these cars. Tdi forever!
That's good info! I was looking at some of these and also looked at some of the 2015 GSW's as well. I know people trash it because of the torsion beam. What do you think, should get a JSW or a 2015 GSW if both were similar good condition?

I own 2 BEW tdi and looking to sell one and get a tuck (hopefully one similar to your 7.3 :) so obviously I love this channel. She looks sick man! I went the other direction. I take mine to homedepot and load her up with sand and rock and wood I treat her like a pickup! I put bilstein b6 stock replacements and airbag reinforcement on rear springs when she's loaded up! And a 2 inch hitch. She's a beast lol

I wanted to try the whole EV thing and traded it in on a used model s…. Not one of my finer decisions. Then dealer I bought it from bought it back in June and last week I went and picked up a black 2014 Golf TDI DSG 4dr with 69k on it.. I’m planning on getting a tune soon( I might wait until the warranty is up around thanksgiving, no guarantees. LOL)….

Excellent video. I've got the same car, a 2014 and am getting ECS adjustable coilovers installed next week. Had the factory Porto wheels powdercoated with gloss black and 15% tint all around. I commute 100 miles round trip during the week and this car is great for trips. It's a cruiser for sure and has mad torque for when i need to pass slow cars. @@mrmooshman I'm at 133XXX now. Only major things that have happened are it needed a new intake manifold, which was replaced under the Dieselgate extended warranty at about 119XXX miles. At 121XXX, it popped a CEL for a DPF & EGR, which i had to pay out of pocket for. Other than that, the car has been a champ.
I have 14 Passat TDI, overall a great car. Very good for long trips at around 40 mpg. Bought with 22k and have 60k . All about maintenance. 15k fuel filter and liquid moly. The DSG service is critical. Noticeable difference with new fluid.

hey! so im eyeing a 2015 sportwagon TDI with 49k miles on it. like you i drive over 100 miles a day for work. obviously VW doesn't have the best reputation for reliability though i hear the TDIs are very different. what's your experience with reliability and possible things to look out for. also, love the super simple and clean set up.
I just recently followed your instagram because of your second gen ram. I've got an 01 in white, but only a 1500. Still, I look at yours as what I'd eventually like have mine like or as close as I can for the 1500. I didn't know until I checked our your TH-cam that you've got a Jetta Sportwagen in black as well. I actually just picked one up in April when my daily was having some issues and it was getting too expensive to drive my truck regularly. I like what you've done with this as well. I might have to look in to the coils and an aftermarket wheel set up to add an extra little pop to the appearance. So far I've really enjoyed this car and think I'll be holding on to it for a long time.
@@JustDiesels That'll be in the plans now along with some updated audio stuff inside. The stock speakers are surprisingly decent, but I'd like better. I'd also like to get a good replacement head unit. The stock VW isn't bad, but I'd like to have Android Auto integration. It'd be super convenient for the longer drives.

That looks nice, makes me want to lower mine. I've already deleted and put an 034 motorsport rear swaybar on it. When deleted these sound like a hair drier at idle. I was not aware about the skid plate being made.
I just found your channel and damn, this gave me ideas lol. Just bought a MK6 Golf Variant with a 1.6 tdi and my idea is to make it full black, already got the mask and the logos. Was wondering that how 19* rims would fit on it but this gives me confidence to pull the trigger lol

I'm looking at a 2013 Jetta TDI that has the same engine as yours I think - my commutes aren't very long though, like just short trips during the week and then to the mountains for snowboarding (1.5 hours plus) every week or 2. Is a TDI a car that might work for that kind of driving? Am concerned about all the short little trips. Thanks tons for any advice!

How do you love the coil overs? I was thinking just drop strings. I love my tdi wagon. Im gonna keep it original as possible. Keep it clean. Subs, tint, lower, maybe rims. Muffler swap,,Side markers black. Mine is dark gray! Debage it . My next tdi will be a A7 tdi
I’ve done both, and man are coil overs worth the difference in cost! They ride so much better, and being able to fine tune the ride height to the mm is huge for getting the fitment right! This was my first set of nice coil overs and now I’m ruined haha.
Have you had any experience with gear vender? Got an 05 ram diesel i have to drive 6 hours one way to mtb. Curious if a double overdrive will give a person alot better mileage. Not to go off topic, but seeing the jetta made me think of better mpg's.
Honestly I think the best route is just changing the gears in the diff, or going to larger tires. Doing a 3.42 or similar ratio gives you some awesome highway RPM range. My truck on 37s and factory 3.73 gears does 2k rpm at 80 now instead of being over 2k at 70 on the factory wheels.
I would add extra gas tank as well. My only issue with my Wagon I wish it was atleast 19-20gallon tank. I honestly want to trade it in for a Diesel truck to daily

They love long drives, but like any diesel aren’t fond of less than 15 minute commutes!

It’s solid! I typically get about 42 on the average 50 mile drive to work with mixed city/highway.

Mine’s terrible too on 19s so I just turn the music up. It’s still quieter than any of my trucks 😂
What’s the RTI score after the suspension mods? How much payload capacity did you lose?
