Great video. I look forward to reviewing more of them. What are your thoughts on the appropriate numbers of passers in serve receive? 15U boys age category. Communication isn’t great yet between them but passing ability isn’t there yet either. More passers = better chance to get to the ball however more passers that don’t communicate well = more opportunity for miscommunication/indecisiveness. Thanks.
Aside from the movement to reduce the power of the ball the movement afterwards should never be something you always do, but with real powerful serves it is more a necessity as you wil not have the time for proper footwork to be standing after the pass
Why move back after contact? Wouldn't that take you further from the net and you have to go further up to cover etc? Is that just to absorb the ball power so you don't overpass?

yes it is to absorb force. Staying still will cause the ball to be uncontrollable.
