Well some women might have some bleeding when they have unstable pregnancy... thus it is understandable that they thought it was period.. everybody is different.. it is hard to understand when we are those who always have regular period... 🙂 even my mom who had 3kids found it so weird everytime i told her stories about women who didn't realise they were pregnant until they went into labor.. she found it bizzare and absurd 😂
