will this work for the beat buddy mini 2? Also do you have more details of where you need to solder the wires to as it is not completely clear what channels on the circuit board they need to run to. Nice idea thanks.
Why not just cut the lead for the lame cymbal in the stereo out and replace this with the two soldered connections you added? By doing this, you don't need to drill and add another output port. The same stereo signal to the unmodified remote footswitch can remain unchanged. Though you are correct - putting that pause as the left button makes 100% sense. This way, only one stereo cable will be used rather than two mono cables.
Hi was wondering ,I use my BB through a PA (recomended) and my guitar through an amp ,so the Input jack on the BB is never used ,could the two wires you solder in the BB be soldered to this input to save drilling another hole.any advice will be helpfull.

Can you explain how that wiring would be? Where is the cymbal lead that you would cut? In the mini or the footswitch?
