While this video is pretty informative, and as someone who also also tried most services, finding the right fit is the hardest part as I care about national news, local channels and NHL/NFL/CFB sports the most and with the NHL its pretty rare to find someone who covers them
I love my Fubo TV with the exception of no CNN. I love being able to catch a show that has 5 minutes left, I hurry and record it, it records from the beginning and gives me the choice to watch live or from the beginning. Do you know if any of the other services has this feature?
I know that Philo by default starts a show at the beginning when you choose it in the guide. I believe with Hulu Live and YT TV SOME shows may give you the ability to start from the beginning even if you didn't initially set it to record but I'd have to double check on that. As for CNN, if you get Max ($10/mo) they have a live feed of the channel now. They call it "CNN Max" but as far as I can tell it's about 90% similar to the regular cable version.

Welp their prices going up again. I had TH-cam TV when it was $35 now this shit is about to be $83.99. I might as well go back to cable at this point along with all the streaming apps going up which cable are bundling all those services for about the same amount with added other streaming services like Disney plus, paramount plus, already included.
Great timing. I’ve just set up the free trial with TH-cam tv. I can’t fast forward through commercials, at least with past recordings in my library. Am I missing something?
@ yeah I would’ve signed up for it. I’ve got Xfinity now because I’m used to their DVR setup. I want to go to stream platform but I’m torn. I need the local channels. I like TH-cam TV but I did not like their DVR. Hulu seems like a set up I’d like, but TH-cam gets way better reviews. What do you think?
If you don't like the DVR with TH-cam TV I feel like you might not like Hulu Live, either. Fubo and DirecTV Stream might be more similar to what you're used to, but they're more expensive.
Recording a separate video about that shortly. I think it’s time they sweeten the pot by bundling in TH-cam Premium or at least Music. If Hulu + Live TV gets the Disney Bundle, then YT TV should offer something extra, too.

Not much beyond what I went over at 12:36. It looks like their price has gone up to $45/mo now but I think their channel lineup is pretty similar.

Figured it out. I can FF through commercials on a "new" episode for a show I had already added to my library.
