Why do I need to troubleshoot my iPhone when I paid $1300 for this device, the software should auto adjust everything for me to reduce the temperature. Just my opinion.
I agree, you should be able full settings without your phone getting hot & having to turn off most of the features you bought the damn phone for! My Wife's 13 Pro got hot enuff to burn her arm without any notifications, screen dimming, etc. Come to find out it was Netflix! Under battery, it showed Netflix was running for 9hrs but she was only watching for 2hrs when she noticed her battery was about dead for the 1st time since she's had it, then when she grabbed the phone it burned her. It wasn't even on a charger because it's always lasted 2 days. Hopefully the latest update fixed this issue.
This phone is really great for Canadian winters!! Gets hot even when its idle. If we really have to switch off everything then why are we paying such premium prices??!!
Like many people in the comments I too notice that it starts to get very hot when you’re charging your phone. This happens when you’re using generic or original cable and adapter.
It’s bullshit I buy a new iPhone to use the functions yet I’ve got to lower them or turn them off because my iPhone feels like it’s been in the oven after 10 minutes of use. Thinking of taking it back!

DON'T use fast chargers. Especially when you leave it on charge when you sleep. I learned the hard way. It ruined my battery . I only had my iphone for 6 months it's battery health is already down to 95% 😓

My Wife's 256g iphone 13 Pro got super hot today, hot enuff to burn her arm. Without showing any alerts like, Too Hot Limits or any screen dimming, etc.. I went into Battery & it was Netflix. We downloaded Netflix the night before & she was watching it for around 2hrs at work in a cool environment & under Battery Settings it showed 9hrs! It also showed Netflix was the only thing running under Battery setting. She updated when she got home to the latest update & also updated all of her apps. Right now she's streaming Netflix again & it seems to be doing better. I read some post where Netflix was left running in the background & it was making the phones hot as hell & not giving the user any warnings..
I buy my iPhone 13 pro max 3 days for those days I used it because I'm new to iphones and didn't know it had a ios update but I believe each update improves the device also remember they are new devices and I played genshin impact game and I tested my device and got around 10 hours of gameplay with. Full battery what a beast of a device I'm happy with my purchase and this is after I updated the ios update but when I first played without and updates the device did get hot 🔥

Zohaib Sikander Bro, If the iPhone get very hot, then it can stop charging, in that case, you should remove from charge, remove the cover, let it cool down completely, then use it, it can fix the issue.😊
