Note for console players: crouch just before GA for the super jump. For whatever reason, using them at the same time on console won't work, so you have to crouch slightly beforehand.

I'll try and help I just need some clarification
I also do this on pc, don't know why but hitting them at the same time doesn't work for me there. Another video described it as hitting crouch and shift almost at the exact same time, but crouch just before. Like barely not at the same time.
when u said to damage boost syms i was like YES HE KNOWS WHAT HES TALKING ABOUT. i had a sym and genji and the genji was begging for a pocket but instead i guided our sym and she melted the enemy team with the additional damage boost and healing and all you see is me and her in the kill feed o o
Absolutely. I play sym so I know how much damage she can output! I love boosting her!
Yes! Sym deserves that love! Literally the reason she isn't strong is because of her survivability, so give her a pocket and she just murders everyone.

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve lost because I have to play main heal as a mercy when my Moira and Ana suck or how many times I have to be battle mercy because damage is ass. 😔

@AntiangelRaphael I'll usually use super jump to get up high to someone to rez them or if I want to be gutsy and take out a widow. The s-jump rezzes are not easy to do higher up in the elo cause you're just a sitting duck waiting to be killed.
You're the first person to actually clearly explain how the beam sensitivity is measured. I enjoy your other videos and I'm pm parroting what you say to people in comms and it's helping a bit.

4:55 it's interesting you say this as another popular gm Mercy Main, Niandra, would say the opposite. In multiple videos they have stated that their top priority is to keep the other support alive at all costs if it's a Moira or Ana especially. Just something I found quite interesting
i love niandra :D and i think they're right in that respect, i honestly think for myself, i usually switch back and forth rapidly between targets where it's not really a problem anymore.
Yes, it's a top priority to keep the other support alive. But you shouldn't be spending most of your time with them. With healing prioritization I think he means play close to your dps and follow them around. Dps are the best targets to dmg boost (some exceptions). The other main healer will likely follow the tanks. You need to help the other healer when they get focused. But that doesn't mean you should play next to them the whole time. Just be aware of their health and fly to them when needed.
Yees, so often am I in the situation where do I heal my main tank or do I heal my others support. I always go for support because I help them they help me heal the tank and everyone wins in that regard

watching this even tho i know full well how to play mercy with 400+ hours on my baby girl-- great vid tho, lots of good tips and i appreciate giving a better explanation on using superjump properly-- i see so many baby mercys or mercys that just learned how to superjump do it just to do it get sniped outta the air and it makes me sad sometimes :( like idc if youre the enemy mercy youre still precious to me dont do it to yourselves
thats very true! which is one of the biggest reasons why i mentioned it, i feel like its not talked about a lot
@@AquaBoost i did this so much in gold and plat because it actually worked!! people can't aim in those elos so you can really just spam superjump and be ok.. but i definitely had to unlearn it coming into diamond and eventually masters,

no, but i wouldnt flame someone if they were. One tricking any hero isnt smart, but especially not Mercy

As a long time mercy player. Recently gotten into comp ,just hit diamond. I knew alot of this but you did teach me new tips I didnt think about! Like the healing after valk for ult charge! That is somthing ill have to input into my gameplay!

🤧healers, especially Mercy, deserve so much more love snd appreciation. im a flex with Support as my highest, and i play Mercy and Ana the most, depends on what the team needs. i’m pretty decent at both. anyways, while im DPS or Tank, i appreciate our support, especially Mercy, all the time. however, at the same time, i’m very critical as to how the healers play as I know how to play support pretty well and correctly. so if ya end up playing with me and are a support, just know i will quietly judge u and speak up if u need to fix something or switch🤣
