👋 This is an all new seven series that has so much technology it will blow your mind! The exterior on this 2023 BMW 760i is very bold looking! The kidney grills do keep getting bigger and bigger! And on this BMW, they do look a bit large for the front end and with the black and white, it has a distinctive look! The rest of the exterior for this 2023 BMW 760i xDrive is nice with the sleek lines and flow nicely! The interior on this 2023 BMW is really where you want to be! This particular model is more on the base trim level, but options like the Theater screen is available which is a $4K option! The rest of the technology like automatic doors, and even the screens in the rear door panels is something else! For the technology for the front passengers, it's a new system that BMW has incorporated into their new models! It's an easy system to go through and offers a lot to setup the way that you would like! This BMW even has different driving modes or themes, depending on how you feel for the day! Kind of a gimic, but a cool part of the tech available! This is a super comfortable sedan to drive and it's very quiet as well!
The all new 2023 BMW 760i xDrive is honestly a lot of car for the money and also a bargain when you compare it to other vehicles! You are getting the top notch quality, technology and performance from this all new BMW!
👋 Check out the ultra luxurious 2023 Mercedes Benz S580 with AMG Line package and so many options! Coming in at over 6 figures, does the new Mercedes S Class have what it takes? This new S580 has a classy style on the exterior with chrome trim and a charcoal gray paint. We even get a massive v liter bi-turbo V8 with mild hybrid system and 4Matic AWD with all wheel steering. The interior had gorgeous Nappa leather finished in red with quilted stitching and ambient lighting all around! The inside of the new 2022 Mercedes S580 is just stunning! I really like the new infotainment system as well. There is a lot of information but it's laid out very nicely and is easy to learn how to use and operate while driving. In the new Mercedes S580 you get a comfortable ride with the air ride suspension and it just glides over bumps. The V8 packs a punch and the 9 speed is super smooth for the transmission. The new Mercedes S580 really is a top notch luxury car! I would like center cup holder in the rear seats tho and automatic functions to close the doors. I think that would but the extra touches on the S Class to make it perfect! The MSRP is $135,000 and I think it's well priced. The Audi S8 can be spec'd for the same money and will have a lot more performance, but it just won't be this comfortable. The 2023 BMW 760i can be spec'd right with the Mercedes and does offer a few nice luxury touches like automatically opening and closing doors. But the Mercedes offers a really nice extra touch of comfort. SO I think the S Class Mercedes is priced well and while it sacrifices a bit of performance it makes up for the extra comfortable aspects. Very nice car for sure! I started liking the look of 7 series,but i think this car looks better in black M trim with black grill. It has old school 7 series vibe like Tupac"s BMW.
The M version has a little bit different of a front end color scheme which I think looks better!

the mercedes benz rear seats do have cup holders, all you have to do is press the pen holder slightly one more time and they will pop out.

@@seansiew5629 really? my company boss drives a Honda Accord. most rich people i know drive regular cars and some even fly their own airplanes. maybe that's the problem with America today - many people want to look rich and lease luxury cars and rack up credit card debts.
Cup holders are in the back, you need to double push the tray in the centre arm console.
How do the doors shut automatically?
And I figured out the cupholders, not as easy as the bmw.
The BMW 7 takes it, the S-Class just isn't what it should be anymore. The C-Class gets the exact same interior which also takes away from it being the flagship.. The tech in the BMW is fuckin INSANE!! Great Review!.. If I had to choose:
1. BMW B7 Alpina
2. Genesis G90
3. Mercedes S63 AMG

I checked out both today. For a guy that’s had 2 S-Class (2007 & 2012 models) The 7 Series blew the Mercedes out of the water. Features and styling. Drive was equally comfortable both have improved seat cushioning by far. But overall BMW takes the cake
Both are honestly good options depending on what you want and need! I’m a big bmw guy but having the Benz for a week was nice to have! Still like the bmw a bit more!

Mercedes Cup holders press on the middle arm rest panel that is where the cup holders are for the rear of the car
But they aren’t, it’s just the small slot I showed. Where did you watch or see about cup holders?
You have to dubble press. So When you have the phone holder out, press half way in and release . Now it comes out further and whith cup holders

That was cup holders that u pressed but u have to press it twice. That first one is a pen holder and when u push it the second time then the cup holders come out.
Yeah I know that now, needs to be easier like the bmw.

It has the bumpy break your back suspension which hits hard on any crevices. Plus the new controversial styling since BMW lost its designers to Hyundai. BMW has lost its identity with his grills and lights all over the place. I think the best looking BMW right now is the 2 series
Thanks for the feedback. I know what you're saying, but a lot of BMW enthusiast never gave Mercedes a chance. Kind of reminds me of the Apple versus Samsung thing.
Before making any purchase like this, someone should really drive both cars because reviews only tell half the story.
I agree that the BMW is the sportier car. HOWEVER, THE BEST OVERALL CAR IS THE BENZ. Styling, how smooth it is,, ample power, it's comfortable,, it's bigger inside even though the BMW is bigger (the long wheelbase Mercedes is already oh so they're going to have to compare them equally now). Mercedes does have its dynamic assistance with sport Plus tuning and I got 21 inch wheels with a AMG package. 0 to 60 in 3.9 seconds. That's not the point and I bet the BMW is faster with 37 more horsepower. This car has amazing technology, performance, comfort, etc. Plus remember BMW came out 2 to 3 years after the Benz.
Remember, the Benz is the Pinnacle of luxury sedans every other luxury car is compared to. So what you are reading is about BMWs response to the S-Class over 2 years later. The S-Class is not being compared against the BMW. The BMW is being compared against the S-Class which set the standard that has been setting the standard for well over 20 years.
This sector of luxury sedans is not really based on performance. The Mercedes S-Class is always been the gold standard all have been compared to. We're talking about 6 to 7 categories and not just about sportiness, which the
BENZ also has. I can actually lower and raise my car and it has an air suspension which glides over any surface.
I respect your opinion, but if you were really to buy one of these cars you should definitely test drive them first. Get a feel of each car including its strengths and weaknesses
Or wait a few years and buy the car for 50 percent off as these types of luxury sefans depreciate very quickly.lol
I don't understand why there is chrome grill in m sport like m760i varients whereas in other m sport varients the grill is complete lu black. Why same m sport has different kidney grill like chrome and black.please someone tell me.

I have a 2022 BMW 750 x-drive and I’m totally disappointed with the redesigned 7 it is HORRENDOUS
Personal preference, I like a majority of the styling and interior.

I feel like they messed up adding a V8 to the new 760i. Its always been a V12 for all these years which sort of became a tradition and BMW customers genuinely loved the product.
BMW probably didn't have a choice with regulations and emissions and all that. Plus it probably helped in making the car cost less as well.

Design wise. BMW dropped the ball. Completely. Might be roomier in side but the body design has no Identity.
I think it is a bit odd, but you can get different colors up front. I think the M version has a different front end design that looks much better.
I bought the 2023 s580 black amg style. 7 series rear looks like ford Taurus….
Great review. But the rear does have cup holders. If you push the “pen holder” in , but not all the way in, the cup holders will pop out. Over engineered, yes….

Is the bmw 7 series quality similar to the Bentley flying spur? Which one should I go for?
I'd say the Bentley is a step up. Very premium interiors in those. 7 series is still super nice, but not quite a Bentley interior. Mercedes feels pretty on par with Bentley tho

@@raiyansiddiqui4654 I mean in terms of luxury, Range Rover is known for being nice and having nice materials. But it’s still a step down in a sense, the other brands will have even nicer materials or more sound insulation and features like that, but certainly a great luxury option.

I misspoke, but it still accelerates the same, it’s just the sound that changes.
Bmw does have automatic, cooled, heated and memory rear seats as well as the under storage in the trunk if it’s not the i7.

Honestly the new bmws just need to be the right specs to catch peoples eye in a positive way. I’ve seen some really nice specs. I also think that black trim on the door handles is ugly as hell on every car and should be color matched to the body of the car. Personally the i7 looks better to me with the chrome accents.

I can not believe how small the S looks vs the 7. Had no idea it was visually so much bigger. Does the interior also reflect the size difference?
I'm having a tough time getting to grips with the 7s styling (especially without having seen one in person yet). Conversely, it does make the S look bland (still beautiful, but predictable). Also, I do not like that every Merc looks the same... I'd probably go with the 7 as it's less conventional and daring to do new things.
The interiors feel about the same! The cars aren’t really that apart in dimensions but the visual is a whole lot different for sure! I totally agree with the S class being way more classy, so for that, I’d go bmw! It’s bold but something different!

Bad news. Long will S-Class just released. There goes the dimensions of your 7: series. You better hope that the 7 series is in a reiteration of the last series, which was one of the most unreliable cars on the market and they were handing them out for $800 per month because they were sitting on the lot for months
Mercedes keeps its design language down its line of vehicles, something the BMW used to do as well
However, their controversial new designs are terrible. The 4 series as a horrific ass face grill which they are actually using on other BMWs. I hated the 4 series, but you can't tell which car is what. I actually saw a 2 series and I thought it was amazing and above the 4 series. The 2-series seems to have a normal sized grill and long that match the car. Then I discovered it was a lower model.
Previously, you can so which vehicle was premium and can tell which vehicle was farther down BMWs product line. No more of that

My S580 might look bland too you, but it is technological masterpiece and came out 3 years ago. Mercedes always has beautiful designing that is not controversial. BMW has had three years to copy the S-Class and what they created is terrible. It is like a Dodge charger, a matchbox and KITT from Knight Rider all in one
However, I bet if Mercedes release some ugly cars, with no true brand identity and that are all over the place... People will be talking about them all over just like BMWs are being talked about. BMW really let its customers down with its recent designs
Ive had the 2019 s class and now I’ve got the i7. The bmw is far superior in ride quality and the interior is much more spacious

the new 7er is the most fugly car made in the last 30 years. The S-Class is still the KING. Elegant, clean look and sporty shape. The right rival of the i7 is the EQS, the EQS has also self closing doors - you could know that.
That would be a good comparison with the i7, but I compared the 760 to this S class. Both are great options depending on what you want.
Well you haven’t seen the e65,until today that generation of 7 series still receives hate,and BMW fanboys complaining to get Bangle back is a Nono because they didn’t see how badly Bangle designed the 1st gen x1 and 1st gen x3,those cars looked even worse than this 7 series,and oh not to mention,the new s class just lacks the elegance of its predecessors, and also way too sporty as an S class,I owned both w221 and w222 to prove so,mercedes AMG also tossed in a vacuum cleaner 4 cylinder engine with hybrid in the new C63s so, I think the 7 series needs it’s road presence that it’s predecessors doesn’t have
I want both, but 10 years from now lol. Depreciation is a good thing for poor folks.

The frontal overhang of the 7 series is just absurdly huge and gives the car ridiculous proportions in the side profile.
It's 10 cm ! longer than the one of the S-class and even it's predecessor for some strange reason and gives the car the appearance of a front wheel driven vehicle.
I think they are taking some Rolls Royce inspiration or something making it look so big
The BMW has more presence but at the same time it does look quite ugly exterior-wise. The Mercedes has more class but I don’t like how it’s so similar to the C-class - I also do not like how understated it looks. For the first time I’d probably choose the 7 over the S. Tough choice.

I like the styling of the Mercedes a bit better but to get anything in a Mercedes with the performance of the BMW you’d have to pay almost double the price of the BMW. I like that BMW combines performance and luxury in pretty much any of their models in the top trim, when buying a Mercedes you pay almost $200000 and it’s completely different trim. They both depreciate the same though. For the money and included equipment, I’d take the BMW. Nice comparison video.
You aren't paying double the price of a BMW to get performance in a Mercedes. What in the world are you talking about.
@@MercOne Go and compare prices and horsepower. An s580 is only 496 hp, price a merc in the same body style with more power. It will be an AMG model.

@@MercOne Ok I hear you, I said almost, just an expression. I priced the two with similar options recently. I compared the two on the dealership lot and with similar options the Beamer was about 130,000 there was a s580 with Just AMG wheels and some carbon fiber bits and it was around 150,000 with still just the same 496 hp twin turbo V8. Now I know I exaggerated by saying almost double but it is a big increase. They haven’t announced what the new S63 will cost, it will have a lot more hp than the 7 but it is likely to cost around $200,000.
@@performingspecs7841 You just don't know what you're talking about. Looking at cars on the lot doesn't mean anything. You need to actually build out the cars to similar specs and see where they price out at. You keep talking about just the same 496hp V8, as if that is no power at all. These aren't Mustangs and Camaros, they're not all about HP here. The new S63 will likely be 200K, that is right, but a 760i can cost anywhere from 120-140 depending on options. That is NOT DOUBLE the price. Sure if you have a bare bones 760i and a loaded S63 maybe then you're looking at double, but that is not a typical scenario. Buyers in this class are not moved by the price difference between a Mercedes and BMW. That would be a Genesis or Lexus buyer trying to pinch pennies thinking they're getting an equivalent car, which they aren't.

Finally saw the new 7 at the dealership this week, and while it looks a bit better in person it's still just ugly with that front end. Mercedes is a better exterior. But I love an underdog so really impressed with the new G90.
The front end could use some work! Definitely a lot more bold though then the Benz!
It's the 7 series for me...... until shit starts to go crazy and in got to bring it in to get fixed. Lol
BMW is actually in the top 5 in reliability lately. Above other brands that you'd think are good.

They aren’t paying me, I simply made a mistake, they are much harder to access than the bmw. For that kind of money, it shouldn’t be a two step process.

I would take the 7 series over the s class. I currently have a 2015 c300, pretty quick car but it really just feels like a smaller s class of the w205. I feel like this BMW offers alot more than what mercedes is. The exterior isnt the best but still stunning
I would take the BMW as well! Mercedes has nice vehicles for sure and offer just as much, just depends on what you like more!
Im a BMW guy..but Ill take the Benz all day long. I prefer the 23 Audi S8 over these two.

@Benjamin Mathew Speed isn't everything. When you get to this point it's the total package and which model delivers. The Bimmer falls short. It's got a a look only a
mother could love. I have owned way more BMWs than the other 2 Germans and presently own a Bimmer and 2 Audi's. It's all about choices. Im not drinking the Kool Aid this time.
Both are very enjoyable to drive! Good options depending on your taste!

Why would that be ? The S-class just came out 2 years ago so there won't be any dramatic changes in the next 5 years.
After looking it up, a new S-Class should be coming in 2024 as a 2025 year model, so that would be the next year model!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed No, that's not right at all. Every S-Class has had a live circle of at least 7 years, often times more.
The current S-class was introduced in December 2020, so it's exactly 2 years old.
A facelift is expected to come after 4-5 years, a completely new model after 7 years.
So the next change will appear in 2024/25 and the next generation won't be out before 2027/28 ...
Here is a list of the average lifespans of previous models:
W116 = 1972-1980
W126 = 1979-1991
W140 = 1991-1998
W220 = 1998-2005
W221 = 2005-2013
W222 = 2013-2020
W223 = 2020-2027/28

BMW is actually second in reliability at the moment lol with Toyota/Lexus up top.
I never said the doors made it cooler but it’s a personal preference which one you want.
Mercedes infotainment system definitely wins here by far. The climate buttons are larger and easier to use and the climate menu isn't as cluttered. BMW's new iDrive 8 is a hot mess.
I’d disagree. The BMW system to me is straightforward and easier to use.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I'm not sure. Maybe you're mostly driving them so you're used to them? But most car reviewers have also said MBUX is better than iDrive including Matt from Carwow and Doug Demuro. The climate menu in the BMW is needlessly cluttered. To get to some options for each side you have to swipe to the side. And all the selections have the same icons which makes it less easy to distinguish different functions quickly. iDrive was definitely designed by people who didn't prioritise good user interface whereas it seems Mercedes paid more attention to the user interface and how you would interact with while driving.
@@SDav21 the climates in the bmw are not cluttered at all, why do you think that? Very easy and straightforward to use. The Mercedes has too much going on, but it’s still easy to use. Honestly both are nice, just depends on which one works best for the buyer.

Look at the Benz interior it looks way better than that BMW interior
It’s has a ton of tech and has a nice look, but I’d take the bmw interior. Looks is subjective! Enjoy the one you want man!
The rear cup holders pull out from the arm rest in the MB.
Crazy we couldn't figure it out. Seems like a lot of Mercedes owners don't like how weird it is to get out. Should be easier in a 6 figure luxury car

Nobody likes the new Ass Face kidney grilles on the BMWs starting with the 4 series. The reason this is happening is because Hyundai bought all of BMWs designers from the last 15 years.
I hate Hyundai's and I would never buy one, but they're looking a lot better
The new designers at BMW are amateurs and need to be fired immediately before they do further damage to the brand. BMW has no brand identity. I saw a BMW coupe that I thought looked nice and looked even better than the 4 series with its ass-face grill. It ended up being the 2 series!! Every car has different lights and a different kidney grille. The only BMW that has some kind of resemblance to prior vehicles is the 5 series. This is probably the only BMW I recognized after following the brand for 30 years. I have to admit that the 5-series looks decent and like the descendant of an old five series.
Regarding the other cars.. forget about it. They are all over the place

It's just my opinion based on my driving of almost every Mercedes and BMW over the last 15 years and I'm only 40 years old. I'm giving my honest opinion because I don't want people making a mistake. You guys can take my opinion with a grain of salt but those around me really take notice when I state sometime. I am blunt and painfully honest. I also express opinions like this everywhere from discussing real estate investors to tvs, to phones.
It appears to be your position that BMW sales are at an all-time high, which is completely untrue and is the opposite. I have two friends that work for BMW dealerships and they said the sales are down significantly after the new controversial styling that people hate. I personally also don't know anybody buying BMW's. When I went to test drive the latest series of cars at the local dealershipn(BMW of Sherman Oaks), they had a bottleneck of inventory in all models and they were desperately willing to negotiate good deals.. I could have got a great deal on any BMW and the deals on Mercedes were very hard to come bye. How about this, if any of you truly want a BMW.. let me know and I will put you in contact with one of my buddies at the dealership who will give you a stellar deal.

Just giving my opinion as a die-hard car enthusiast who started out driving a Honda Civic DX at 16 years old and has worked his way up to the S580 at 40. This was after driving numerous Mercedes and BMW vehicles.
The 7 series takes the crown 👑. Amazingly the best technology that makes ROLLS ROYCE, BENTLEY and MAYBACH looks outdated and performance that will take on most sports cars. ❤😂Now that’s what you called THE ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE

Thanks. The S63 AMG just got released with 0-60 in around low 3 secs! The S class outsells the 7, three to one traditionally. Now it will outsell 10 to 1 with this design. The 7 series was designed to appeal to its main market - China. China is also the largest market for S class and Maybach sedans. In China, the S580 loaded costs $300,000-$350,000

Where do you find that information? Of course anything would outsell a vehicle that was just released lol, they haven’t really made it to dealers yet, so that’s not a fair comparison. It’s a personal on the design, and it’ll sell for people who want it.

Their recent designs may not be to your taste however, bmw are selling more and more cars each year and dominating market share in Europe and the US in the premium and high performance segment aswell as global units shipped against it's German competitors.

The 7 series front grill looks like a disconnected jaw.
