Yes with 5 railroads and 2 industrial switching operations it’s still a good place to watch them.

Nice! Always love to see a caboose along for the ride.

I'm the one who bought the cab. It was in rough shape. She's coming along quite nicely and will be available on the Lebanon, Mason, and Monroe railroad this fall to ride. It has come a LONG way from where it was in this video.

This is excellent! The drone shots add so much depth. Really cool that you can see practically the whole train. Makes it easy to understand what's going on with all the switching. Subscribed. Thanks.

Wow, the G&W transferred that rare Utah Railway (ex-Hamersley Iron) SD50S to the IORY? That's cool! Great catch!

Thank you! I spent too long living away from a railroad so about 8 years ago we bought a house very near to the CF&E line.

Great video Scott! Your drone work is fantastic. The Ford Park yard sure is funky the way it is split like that. Any idea where the caboose will go after being repainted into Chessie paint?

Thank you! The caboose will be stored and used at the Lebanon Mason and Monroe railroad.

Sweet catches man! Just an oddball question from a fellow railfan, where do you find parking to catch these trains?

Scott, I love good train videos when shot & edited that sort of tell a story..not news footage. Your steady drone shots, about 90% of your presentation use, is good, if a bit TOO long especially the same shot for over 5mins, a shot too long.
Sugguest you take a community college 101 course to learn camera techniques & lighting, story telling, and editing. You have potenial! No the camera shouldn't be the shot or subject, but compliment the subject your shooting. I saw one video that the guy shot at horseshoe curve in Penn... His Drone camera work was superb and "part" of the program. You stay on Too long and your audience is toast, litterally!...zzzzz! So with that, it boils down to: "I love watching the paint drying..." I think highlighting your finds or the unusuals would be the best route to go via editing. Virtual Train videoes is ok...for fixed camera's with manipulation. Many great highlight/grab bag videos from around the country...New sites started all the time to get special videos. Especially like the KC, MO Junction where shots come from all directions and near by Doc'S Caboose Rest. and Model Train store... Tighten up with less aerial shots & edit with more ground shots, cutting into the ground shots at the same time frame, or vice versa, but seguing into either direction looks much better. Watch foitball, not always good but count the cameras, usually a min. of five and max of 9 or 10...look how the director cuts the scenes. Late on some because hexs trying to get camera on a shot he wants and is sometimes looking at pre-view before the shot is taken. Learn. If I want to watch long trains go by, I can go to my nearest tracks of my BNSF & UP, and watch their 8 to 10k length trains go by, but other Video suppliers get the job done with supplying much shorter or more fulfilling edited content. Look at Distant Signal wt Danny Harman from Georgia and Florida Area's video. Shots are much better. Has a subject idea of what he wants to shoot and then proceeds to put out some pretty decent videos/program shorts and fills in the shots with narrative of the trains origin and its make up. That's impressive, complete with high iron radio calls. He shows how in one of his videos, how to get that audio and record it and edit it in, wt a highlighted but not intense edit details. Take a small filp notebook along shirt pocket size. Always dating and Timing the start of your days shooting; your impromptude script!/shot records of where and when. Keep your clock correctly adjusted with NIST/WWV. Learn the sounds of the 60 sec sweeps to help you set your watches, check your phone's time (which comes from WWVB in Colo.) and make sure your camera is on-time. It's great to have correct if you happen to get news footage of a real time event, or want to give authorities...but NEVER EVER the Orig. chip...Down load in their presence so they can verify you didn't alter the capture time(s)... Never volunteer for court on police side, that can open a can of worms. So after all that, Scott...If I wanted a " continuous burning yule log view" on my tv then I would look for those. Otherwise, keep practicing...then publish when ready... good luck.

If you want to watch a fast-paced video with a constructed storyline, I'd suggest you go watch one of those somewhere else. I like the videos as they are. It's something that's relaxing to watch and have playing in the background. It's not meant to be a documentary.
