@Bio-Roxas It's weird for something like Twin Yo Yos, you would think they would have Sora do some crazy tricks while in the air, like an airal cartwheel with a Yo yo on his left and right or something.
It seems the only Formchanges with different grounded and aerial combos are Second Form, Light Form, Dark Form, Double Form, Nano Arms, Blizzard Blades, Hyper Hammer, Boom Hammer, Drill Punch, Clock Drill and Rage Form.

Fun fact, until i got the Frozen Keyblade, this was my favorite form... Yep, the other won the place of this one because well, i love to go hand on hand, and well Blizzard edge is like good range and tons of close combat attacks, a good mix of kicks with a few punches.

It makes a lot of sense to make yo-yos as weapons as there's a widespread myth that they were used as weapons. While they never actually were, the idea has stuck in pop culture with yo-yos showing up in a lot of video games. As a keyblade from a world based around childhood myths like monsters in your closet or under the bed it would make sense for the keyblade to reflect that childish world.

I am still debating between Happy Gear and Crystal Snow for which I like better, because I like the combos on Twin Yo-Yos more, but I like the abilities Crytsal Snow provides more alongside it's looks better, and the Blizzard Blades aren't as AoE as I would like, though I like that more than Twin Yo-Yos. I like Agile and Blizzard Claws both a bunch, but I still think Happy Gear has better combos, while I believe Crystal Snow looks better... I'm having a huge dilemma here for no reason, I feel.

I honestly dig the claws. Don’t get me wrong, the Twin Yo-Yos absolutely kick A, but I always had fun with the class and their design. I suppose my inner Wolverine fan just can’t help but love it. =)

Thank you for these videos. I’m currently on a critical run & major thing I notice is you can’t button mash combos like the easier difficulty’s. KH has no training area so it’s hard to know what each attack is & does to connect combos. Appreciate you my guy
Well when you point out the uniqueness of Smile gear (yes I am still calling it that) having a toy as a transformation it kind of makes you wonder why Infinity badge (YES I am still calling it that) DOESN'T turn into a toy like yo-yo's. Oh wait nvm ... It would probably turn into stinking fidget spinners. Good call on Nomura's part actually, I take that back.

Strike Form is the Power Form/Valor Form of Kh3. If you hit triangle while a keyblade is selected in the equipment menu, it’ll pull up a list of abilities. This outlines the form tied to the keyblade (strike, element, second, guardian, etc.) as well as other information ^^ I’m planning on doing a video about that but I just haven’t had time
I’m actually putting them all into one video that I’ll be putting out after I finish formchange breakdowns ^^ since they aren’t associated formchanges I didn’t include them here.

Personal opinion: these changes should have been for Favorite Deputy and not Happy Gear. The Agile Claws, if you try super hard, seem reminiscent of toy pincers. You could even say that the claws could look like a toy from a robot costume. Second, do I need to talk about the yo-yos? Yo-yos are toys. He even styles on his opponents like a classy yo-yo master.
That makes prefect sense to be honest. I've always found it odd how the formchange into agile claws just appeared in a flash of light which is totally different than every other transformation.
@@BioRoxas The drill and hammer duo could also fit the "factory" aesthetic of the Keyblade and its world. Monstropolis mostly takes place in Monsters, Inc., right?
@@BioRoxas Also, think about the Re:Mind Young Xehanort fight. People prefer using Favorite Deputy, right? You'd be using a Keyblade coming from the world where YX was insulted by a toy. If Twin Yo-yos were the formechange for FD, you'd be beating the guy with toys after he was insulted by a toy.
Agile claw is probably my least favorite formchange (blizard claws are a lithe bether just because the green form is bether for me) but the yo-yous reminds me of the old days of playing god of war in the ps2
Being a Master doesn't give you abilities. Case in point, Terra, He was never officially made a Master yet he can transform his Keyblade. (the title can only be bestowed by the Master overseeing your training, so Xehanort calling him a Master doesn't count).
@@blackghostcat there is no "unofficial mastery" unless that's a personal term for one who has the power of a Master, but not the title, like Terra and Sora. You either are a Master, or you're not. Regardless the point stands, the title of Master doesn't give you any kind of power that you didnt already have before gaining the title. Wait, that's not entirely true. It does entitle you to the knowledge of how to lock a world in such a way as to make it unrecognizable, like Land of Departure/Castle Oblivion or Daybreak Town/Scala ad Caelum.

That's what I was thinking! We do see the happy gear keyblade spin upwards so it's in a hammer formation for sure.

Agile Claws always felt like a blitz form to me rather than a strike form.
When did Sora learn how to yo-yo?
sora is just one of those types of characters that has natural talent in everything (Action wise)
