thanks for another great video. I am less scared of running into a tree than running into a prickly cactus. Once, I brush my arm against a cactus and it was difficult and painful to remove the needles. my arm got infected because I had no immediate access to a place were I could wash my arm.
While Dave’s not wrong compared to the beauty of Shore slabs, it should be mentioned that the grip on the AZ rocks and slab is unparalleled. 120 grit sandpaper at bare minimum. Ridiculous amounts of traction even on the nastiest of terrain!
What about your Commencal? Will you make a video about the bike topic? Would be nice. Sorry, but I really don't like this Insta360 videos/settings. Feels like I have to be drunk to ride my bike.
Just went MTBing for the first time. I went down a decently big hill, hit a bump at the bottom I didn’t see before, said oh shit going at it full speed, hit the jump and got air time, then I slipped off the seat and my balls grinded on the back wheel. AWESOME
The scariest part of these trails are the glochids, far worse than stones or spines. Fall on the rocks and you only break your bones, but if you fall on an Opuntia, you break your spirit. Actually, my soul was shattered when I just accidentally brushed up against an Opuntia.
So is it the camera with 360 or are they on a mountain because I am white knuckling my keyboard lol. I also forgot the name was literally in the bike...mountain. SO yeah I am afraid of a 3 in patch on sand on tarmac but its fun to watch youlls skills
I’m one of those people who sometimes wonders whether whizzing by B.C. trees at speed is scary. That said, I’d hate to run into, or even brush against, any of those cacti on the trail. Yeesh.
I don’t think 360 would do good in a forest, but I will say I think it works well for open places like this. You can really see the steepness and view all around you. But I don’t think many share the same opinion looking at this comment section lmao.

I think most people can appreciate how busy life gets and how it can be hard to keep up communication with friends and family. Now imagine that with thousands of people around the world. At some point, I had to let go of the idea that I could reply to everyone for my mental health and to make sure I'm spending as much time as I can with my kid.

i have said this before but i like this camera over the gopro. i feel like this camera captures the intensity of the ride a bit more and i encourage you to keep using it. great riding!
The fish eye effect is compensated for by the better steepness effect when amoungst trees. But on narrow ridges and/or with a clear horizon the fish eye effect is just too extreme to ignore.

The one thing I will say about this insta 360 is that I think it capture steepness a lot better than a gopro. The side exposure and drops look legit!

Vivid colour, medium sharpness with a bit of sharpness added in post, -0.5 EV comp, stereo audio, and the rest is auto 👍

You can export in 4K after reframing the footage on either the mobile or desktop app
