I'm a jewelry maker whose daughter is named Jen, and she also makes journals. I can say for someone who isn't a jewelry maker, you did a fine job. No one would ever know. Good job Jen! Blessings❣

Hi Jen. I know you made this 5 yrs ago but I only saw it today !! I don't do journals etc, but your work caught my eye for a different craft. I love to make hairsticks. I make them from chop sticks, dowel rods, paint brush handles, sticks etc.I'm going to take your decorated stickpin ideas and use them on the ends. I will either drill a hole in the centre of the broad end and glue in the pins, or thread onto a long wire that I will wrap around in swirls and curves. I love dangles on my sticks too. I can definitely see matching earrings as well, and chandelier style earrings with 3 pins hanging from a circle, with chain between them going up to a much smaller circle, then up to an earring wire. Thank you for the inspiration.

You are simply far too precious for words. Hi 💁‍♀️ I'm not sure how I found you this evening, I'm crafting and cleaning and looking for something to have for dinner (yes, at 1:00 in the morning 🤔) so I guess your vid just kinda came up in some sort of rotation or something - not really sure how that works - but anyway... YAY!! Cleaning stopped, I have given up on dinner, and my crafting took an immediate turn towards the paper clip and stick pin department. These are great! I made two paperclips and two danglies just from the stuff I had right in front of me (I was making clusters). I'm so happy I found you 😁 Love from your newest subbie in the Southern California desert, MK ❤☀️🌵

  • @wizardoris55

I use the rubber earring back and push it all the way up on my stick pins , tight against the beads with a tiny bit of glossy accents for glue to hold the beads in place while the glue dries, then slide the rubber earring back, back down to cover the sharp pin... I use the stick pins on front of my albums in clusters like a bouquet of flowers..

Note... if you watch and buy one of the inexpensive jewelry making kits from Michaels (mine was 12.99) you get all the tools, jewelry wire, jumprings, beads of several sizes, and all sorts of useful things... and then you have all you need to start playing with making these... so much fun...
