I have owned a lot of dogs in my life and I had never heard that about grapes. Don’t know how I missed that. I don’t routinely give any fruit to a dog. We just let Gunner have some since Pearl and Percy were eating them. I’ll definitely not give them to him again and I’ll let the girls know too ❤
Well everyone has told you about the grapes. Blueberries and pumpkin are good for dogs. Will keep all the little ones in my thoughts and prayers. Have a good one and may your days be blessed
My aunt fed her dog grapes as a treat all his long life. Think it's a food that dogs OFTEN have sensitivity to. like chocolate, can be fatal but I've known dogs that have eaten with no issue... But definitely something to stay away from
I would reaserch the types of fruits that are actually healthy for dogs and they can eat just about all fruits in moderation of course because of the natural sugar thats in fruit. My dog loves watermelon that is his favorite even fresh veggies are healthy for dogs as well. But grapes, onions are a no for dogs and cats. You and Hope are going a wonderful job with all the animals they look very happy 😊. Thank you for sharing your lovely homestead I love it its very beautiful. You all have a wonderful happy weekend and see ya'll next video. God Bless
I really don't like telling people what to do with their animals. And I love you all with all my heart. I don't know if you know this but green grapes, any kind of grapes can be toxic to dogs. Just wanted to let you know that you can Google it and read about it. I didn't know this and I was feeding them green grapes to my Boston Terrier and she got very very sick. God bless you all❤❤❤❤❤
Brandi you can put hydro peroxide on the kitties bed with the blood and just spread it on there and it’will bubble up all the blood and get rid of it all and then just gotta rinse it off with the hose and let it dry
Hope the kitten will be alright my dad was borned in Oklahoma and over many many years he told me over and over about how it was living there with 8 kids and the depression many cousins down there and 1 aunt left Dads 4th sister woukd go to many reunion s tgere and I alwise wanted us to move there but he had it hard snd with all the kids and his dad away alot it was left up to him to step up and raise the 7 younger but I live the land and in Texas where I gave relatives also praying fir your kitty
I fed my dog grapes as a treat. This was before I knew grapes and raisins were very toxic to dogs even in small amounts. It caused kidney failure. I’ll never get over it. After that I researched what is toxic to dogs and cats so I never made a tragic mistake again.
Brandy, that could be a cat bite from another cat. When they get bitten it will have wounds like that and it will swell up. They can catch diseases from it too especially if the other cat hasn't been vaccinated. I would for sure have him checked by a vet.❤
Hello Brandi and Hope, you ladies are an awesome duo taking care of those critters. A word of caution, though , them grapes can be mighty hard on a canines digestive tract, and even fatal to some dogs. Love seeing your animals as they respond to you Gals taking care of them.
I never realized the problem with certain foods until years after I had to put my dog down. My dog got into everything. I’m sure she had grapes and raisins at some time. I didn’t eat them often. She got into chocolate. She ate soap. She ate a huge amount of rawhide chews. If she could eat it she would. She ripped open every trash can, every Tupperware container, bags of apples, loaves of bread etc. She broke out of her cage. She pushed past the baby gates etc. She was a bit of a Houdini. She was epileptic starting as a puppy and was on a couple medications per day. Eventually she was having a lot of seizures and was having trouble walking.
Never a dull moment on the farm, that's for sure, but I can't think of a better life, and I have never and don't even live on a farm! But, I am a nature lover, and living out in the country is where you get to witness nature's beauty and fresh air! The fresh air and earth smell so good 😊
Grapes are very toxic to dogs because there's a high level of arsenic in them that they cannot process . it will build up and it will kill them. Onions is another thing you shouldn't feed dogs
Hi Brandi and Family Praying for the cat Always something happening on the farm Animals looking good. Gunner is getting big. God bless and love yall ❤❤
I have always heard that grapes are fatal for dogs. Gunner will be alright because my sister fed her😂dog some and she lived to be 14 . Just watch him for a couple days. Hope Oreo is going to be okay. The pony’s are doing good.God bless
Nice to see you and Hopey 😊. Sorry, Oreos' leg was hurt, and the poor chicken😢. The horses look nice, all brushed out👍. Lilly and the chicken look much better🎉 Oteo looks like the infection is drying up! JO JO IN VT 💞
You might want to check ✔️ all the animals over for any signs of ring worm. Get some. I think it is thrush medicine. It is liquid, and it works well. I got it at Big Blue years ago. Good observation, Hope!
My cat came home with a face wound from a fight and I had to play momma cat throughout the holidays ….tough Tom cat turned into a helpless kitty. Hope yours is healing as well as mine.
Oreo looks like something bit him. Poor Lillie and the chicken. Glad you got Oreo in to see the vet. Looks like he might be an inside cat for a while. Hope his surgery goes well. Glad all the animals are doing better. GOD bless Y'all.
His bangs are called a forelock. There is a product called Mane & Tail that works great, I used it on my hair when I was younger as a conditioner. We call that treat that you squeezed, Kitty Crack! One of our cats can't resist it, our Siamese will not touch any treats & I have tried them all.
Hi Brandi and family. I hope the kitties are okay in your crazy cold weather I wish you could buy a tent like cat bed big enough for the two kitties. It’s good they are in the shed but a cat bed like that would really keep them warmer in the winter. They even make heated cat beds but they’re more expensive. I’m not trying to tell you how to take care of your pets. You guys do a great job. It’s just a suggestion.
I have never heard that either, it’s good to know though! So glad Oreo is okay! Gunner is still a puppy and can still be trained to not chase the chickens, he should know that they are a part of the farm that he is protecting. Or if he is only there for the pigs and horses then he’s doing his job. He probably thought he was protecting his pigs from the chickens. Just a thought. Y’all do an amazing job regardless! Lots of prayers for y’all! Love and blessings from this old Bama girl!❤❤❤
Love you guys so much from traverse City Michigan❤ Oreo just looks like my cat patches that passed away a few months back she was 18 years old and my best friend😢😢 love you guys so much praying for your kitty cat I love your family so much please keep us posted on Kitty❤❤❤
Hi, I also have a wonderful Great Pyrenees. She will be three in March. I read lots of books, articles, and watched internet programs about the breed. The one thing I got from all of that was about feeding them. My dog was fifteen months old when I adopted her. So I was told she should eat her food in two meals a day. She got 2 1/2 cups twice a day. She can have a few treats, but no people food. This breed can easily get bloated and have a twisted stomach. I used dry Purina One Large Breed Puppy Chow. It says to keep the dog on it until they are two or three years old. I am just mixing the two foods now that she is approaching three yeats old. If she gets too many treats she will belch and act uncomfortable. Also I leave her bowl of food down all of the time. She just eats small anounts during the day. Some days she skips eating. Good luck with your new puppy. He is gorgeous. I love your videos and your girls are so nice and helpful.
Quite I don’t know that about grapes and dogs either. Glad Oreo is getting taken care of and that Lilly didn’t need a trip to the vet. Bet that herb won’t get near Gunner again.
I hope your little cat is going to be ok. Me and my wife we have cats. That so sad God bless you y'all making me laugh giving dogs never seen that before if I had never seen that before ❤😢😮
I feel bad for the cat. And maybe it is cause it is out free and might have gotten into a scrap with another cat. Glad you are having him fixed. 🤗🤗💞💞💙💙
Brandi and Hope I love how you are all care and take care of your animals. But I just wanted to let you know that grapes and raisins can be very toxic to animals even though they like them so try not to feed it him to them. We wouldn’t want nothing to happen to Gunner. Love you guys.
Grapes and raisins can be fatal to dogs they should not eat them. They can eat carrots and apple slices. Also chocolate can be harmful to dogs but my daughters shepherd dog got ahold of a box of chocolates at Christmas time while they were not home and chewed through the box and every piece of the chocolates and never got sick from it.
Horses and ponies have been eating oats since the beginning of time..any food can cause choke..biggest risk is if they're super greedy and eat too quick or if they don't chew properly due to bad teeth. Small ponies really don't need such feeds though, they should primarily eat grass, hay or straw plus a little mineral mix.
I so sorry about the cat but after you get him fixed he will stay around your house more. Gunner likes to play with the chickens LOL The horses are getting their winter coats that makes them look like little stuffed toys LOL Love you all God bless and until next time take care.
Prayers for Oreo, Lilly and the chicken may they have a speedy recovery its in gods hands he will heal his creatures and word od advice don't give Gunner or the other dogs grapes or raisins they are toxic to dogs make them deathly sick there is something that will cause kidney failure and other issues so please keep them away from dogs for they're safety i don't want nobody to happen to your animals i was starting to cry when Oreo got hurt i feel for animals and they're pain i don't like seeing animals or humans hurt i want to see them get better 😢☠️ 💀 🐶 🐕 🍇
Brandy I watch your husbands channel from Lester and I seen yours. Lester likes to wear your apparel. Jami had an accident yesterday and they need allot of prayer so could you all please pray for her and Lester.

I never heard about grapes until long after I had a dog -- so I completely understand.
They have to consume way more than gunner did in this video.
We had to dose charcoal bc of grapes.
Well everyone has told you about the grapes. Blueberries and pumpkin are good for dogs. Will keep all the little ones in my thoughts and prayers. Have a good one and may your days be blessed
Dogs like carrots. They are ok.
Be careful! Dogs should NEVER eat grapes or raisins!!!! They can be fatal!🤢
Regular feeding of grapes causes kidney failure in dogs. Grapes & raisins should NOT be given to dogs.
So true !! I had a friend whose terrier died from liver failure because he ate grapes. They like them but they are fatal.
True. Grapes are toxic to dogs. Not sure how much they would need to eat for it to be. Was always told as a groomer to not have grapes around.
Never grapes or raisins.
My aunt fed her dog grapes as a treat all his long life. Think it's a food that dogs OFTEN have sensitivity to. like chocolate, can be fatal but I've known dogs that have eaten with no issue... But definitely something to stay away from

I agree, I had a cat with something similar on his head. It's a cat bite abscess. Needs antibiotics ASAP.

A few may not kill a dog instantly but grapes and raisins are toxic and over time it destroys or damages their kidneys.
Looks like Gunner has had a growth spurt,he’s huge. Thank goodness all three are on the mend 💗🙏💗

😮 Grapes can be toxic for dogs!
Quite I don’t know that about grapes and dogs either.
Glad Oreo is getting taken care of and that Lilly didn’t need a trip to the vet.
Bet that herb won’t get near Gunner again.
At our last vet appt for my dog a lady was in with her Shepard. He was in kidney failure due to her giving him grapes as a treat. He did pass away.
Yes he is definitely getting fixed 😊
Might want to give him some food or treats when you give stuff for the pigs 😂😂
Brandi and Hope I love how you are all care and take care of your animals. But I just wanted to let you know that grapes and raisins can be very toxic to animals even though they like them so try not to feed it him to them. We wouldn’t want nothing to happen to Gunner.
Love you guys.
😊😊😊
I hope Oreo's foot heals fast. Poor little one.
Thank you! Me too 😊
You can get spray conditioner at tractor supply( mane&tail) . Makes it so much easier to comb out ponies, if they will let you spray it. 😊
Grapes breaks down ythere kidneys
Please don't give him anymore
Was concerned about giving Gunner grapes because it says dogs are not supposed to have grapes ❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤
I would so rub that leg with comfrey salve and wrap it. I use it on my animals and it works so well . Prayers.
❤❤❤❤❤
Grapes are poisonous to dogs! Raisins too! Don’t feed the puppies grapes! Ask your vet!
The oats given to the ponies. I read. Can cause choke and blockage.
Horses and ponies have been eating oats since the beginning of time..any food can cause choke..biggest risk is if they're super greedy and eat too quick or if they don't chew properly due to bad teeth. Pleased don’t give Gunner or any of your dogs grapes, raisins or grape jelly. It can be “fatal”.
Thanks for checking out my channel! We’ve been praying for Jami ❤
Grapes are bad for dogs. Not being negative, I'm just letting you know.
Hi Brandi and hope all the animals look wonderful, except your cats wounded leg.
I've also heard that grapes or any thing made from grapes are very toxic to dogs!!! Best thing to do is ask your vet!!!
Grape are very toxic for dogs. Ask your vet, please listen ❤love you guys.
What would work best is just put a small amount of the oats with the dewormer for each of them, then you will know they got it all. When they’re finished eating the little bit, you can put the remainder in there dishes.
You might like to consider keeping the LGD, in with the mini horses instead of the piggies, I believe everyone will be happier.
❤
The ponies are cute
