Agreed, the bridge with the trans-light blue plates is a nice touch also.
This set is an absolute beauty! I love the fact that the stand is built into the frame as well as the mini fig selection. The gribling, angled panels and thruster are very well done. I like the metallic elements used for the thrusters.
Black table makes the bricks stand out better on camera, 👍🏽
I would definitely recommend this set,, the set was 10 times easier to finish in a week compared to the UCS imperial star destroyer. It looks like they fixed the areas where the bottom panels would definitely fall off. Looks like they fixed it with smaller panels and stud pieces. I’m just glad that everything came together perfectly and I did not have to worry about panels falling off.
This is such an awesome set, just wish the main hanger could open for some detail, it’s such an iconic part of the ship but I understand why they didn’t do that. Much simpler technic frame rather than having it split in two and go around a hanger. Thanks for building this when we’re too broke to
The red rectangle 19:40 is the bottom hanger door
Also the whole reason we got the gunship first was to be an eater egg here, fair trade
I’m not a Star Wars fan but this is amazing.
This thing looks great and I'll be getting one but I really wish they at least made a tiny interior so we could open up the big red doors on the top and see all the hanger bays.
It is a sleek looking chip, that slope leading to the bridge is the main attraction for me.
The black table was a great decision, definitely keep that going.
The Venator is a gorgeous design and this is a brilliant lego version, much better than the Star Destroyer (though that’ impressive too). Btw - love how the black table makes it look like it’s in space. 😂
Love the design but definitely wish they got rid of the stickers for a set at this price. The only thing I don’t get is why people still want interiors on sets like this in my opinion people buy these set for the size a wow factor on display. Good example would be the super star destroyer it had that small interior of the command bridge yet since owning the set since it came out I’ve never left it open or used it and I’m guessing most people that have the set don’t ether.
I really wanted those top hanger doors to slide open, even just a half inch. Still, gorgeous ship. I’m thinking of leaving those top circle stickers off. We’ll see. Great review.

This is so on my buy list. When I first saw this I was like must have. Typically I cannot afford the UCS Lego series but going to save up for this one! LOL! Hope you are still finding much success with your channel.
I'm a clone wars fan, so this is the only UCS set so far that is worth the purchase price for me.

I'm taking my sweet time making this one so far really enjoying it.
My favorite thing is how much easier it is to display this vs the sd which is just a huge space hog with it being very tall and wide.
I agree the stand is such a nice upgrade compared to the sd which were pretty flimsy this one you can actually grab it by the stand and know it's not gonna break as easily.
Yeah the build experience for the sd was a nightmare at times was not as solidly built the wing panels caused me to nearly just throw it in the trash lol
Not worth 650 but it's still an incredibly cool set for display.
The black table makes it easier to see what you are doing. Really hate exposed studs . Thanks for your time.

The Venator is a great build for any big Star Wars fan who has the budget. Agree with you that it should all be printed pieces and no stickers to earn the "Ultimate" in UCS and to respect the amount this set costs. Kind of disappointing that it's sub-micro scale, but I see why, because making it nearly double the size would cost USD $900 or more. Great for a collector who likes to hang their ships from the ceiling. It would honestly be better upside-down, so the red detail can be seen from below. A build of this scale just gets my mind to imagining a minifig scale version. Prob 20 feet long, 500k parts.

Crazy build! Do you know how i can search pieces from an old lego set back? like how i know what pieces i need to make it complete again? i got an old lego set from 2005 from the Vikings theme and i wanna sell it! If somebody knows it let me know im new in this lego market stuff!
The engine inclinations are very bad and I don’t know how most just overlooks that. It’s just not good enough design

Hello Eduardo… he mentioned in the video that this took about a day and a half. It’s such a large set. That’s quite a feat to finish so fast.

Such an epic set. In my opinion the set looks better if you didn't put the two stickers on it (at 10:15).

It's nothing special. It's not really iconic, the scale is off and it's a plain build with nothing notable about it. It just sits there. When the box and book is more of a draw there's something up. Not for me

I have never been a fan of the prelogy because I find the movies failed but this ship has something of its own and it will end up on my stages.
I agree with you, it is absurd to see that Lego continues to put stickers in such sets.
Otherwise, I can’t wait to see how the specialized companies will illuminate this ship because there is content to do something awesome and beautiful

@@blakebello5922 personally I proffer Lego sets that create more of a scene than a specific ship/vehicle. Obviously to each their own and I can admit Lego nails the look of these sets but I would rather see way more castle, western, & pirate stuff.
@@thomasj.3642 I definitely see where you are coming from for sure those are themes that it definitely feels like Lego doesn’t really care about, but as a prequel and clone wars fan this is only the second usc set that we’ve gotten. Like that the Star Wars that I grew up with.
