Looks like a grocery getter to me. I like the triangular linked 4 bar for dirt race cars, but i can make leafs faster on a burnt up dry slick track. Looking forward to seeing some of your street racing vids. Keep bustin their ass' !!!!!!

I agree with you james, they change the at will. How many hoops did larry larson jump through until they ultimately banned his truck yet they let kayla run that stretched out narrowed mustang. Larry goes and builds a caddie with factory length panels, he struggled all last year but in the off season he dialed in that car and is now flying. What do they do now, they allow stretched out heavily altered cars to compete. They held out mills golden kong for who knows what reason, so he builds a purpose built npk car and then they do the exact same thing to him as was done to larson. I wouldn't blame you for not wanting to compete. If they don't stop with the rule changes, this will be eventually what kills npk. Have a good day sir and keep the chin up.

I agree with some of the other people. Start your race.... 5 rules. Big tire and small tire. Then have those to race to see who has the fastest car.

My opinion is if it's an all steel car and you can fill it up with gas and drive it on the street till it runs out of gas and not have any problems with overheating or breaking then it is a street car

If this is for the daily driver race, it's completely against the spirit of the race. All the other cars are literally driven every day. If this is for a street car race, then there shouldn't be an issue. But if you're always falling foul of the rules, then at some point you have to start questioning who's to blame. Like the old saying "If you meet an asshole in the morning, you met an asshole. If you meet assholes the entire day, you're the asshole."

Sounds like they want your name on the info to draw a crowd but don't want you to show. We have the same problem here in SC. The 864 street cars are supposed to be daily drivers . I have someone with a mustang convertible that drives it daily and will run consistent 4.50's full interior all steel but has some chassis upgrades and they won't let him in. Totally BS.
The exact same reason why NHRA drag racing sucks. To many fucking rules. Who ever thought up bracket racing wasn't a racer!!! The point of drag racing is to go out and be faster than what you were the last pass.

Dart block / Methanol. That's not a daily in anybody I know's book. But that's my opinion... not rules for a race. The rules should be posted publicly to end any debate.

Dude, my 67 Prostreeted backboard Dart is more racecar then that car and I daily mine during the summer months. That lil Nova is a Cadillac of a street car. There’s nothing wrong with that car.

Call it the way it is no bullshit 💯. Only wish I got to meet you at Empire Dragway in New York few years back. You had some car issues and I was exhausted from the heat and racing. You keep being you fuck the rest.
The only problem I have with it is it's on methanol. I know methanol is super cheap and a really good fuel, but daily drivers should run on pump fuel imo. I bet you could make the same power running it on E85, and maybe a methanol injection kit but pure methanol is for race cars. The rest of the car is 100% street daily driver.

Title, legal registration, and everyone drive aleast 15 minutes together to the race, (if it can't make it 15 minutes without overheating it's done.) No trailers period..

NMRA had a class that did a 30 mile drive, then hotlapped 3 passes for qualifications. Then there is an underground group on TH-cam (I forget the channel) that does similar. They all meet in one location, then drive to the 1st location. Winners drive to the 2nd and so on. Each round is in a new location until its complete, but shows the True Street of these cars. Pretty neat to watch.

I'm a fan bro. Now I will say I'm a Big Chief fan to the day I die lol. I have watched street outlaws more than anyone. I have them all recorded and my wife hates it lol. But I saw the daily driver race many times and they was fine with your car until you done your burn out. Everyone on the starting line was like "o no" they knew then you had a bad ass car and done what they done. I think you should have been able to run it.

What's bullshit is people like Daddy Dave passed tech without a second glance, even with the giant air to water in the back, when the rules say no air to water but our trucks hood got popped on the line after the burnout to check it, after it'd already been teched. They also checked our tires 3 times. We made a new cold side to replace the intercooler and abide by the rules and they still gave us shit. Daddy Dave's intercooler was ice cold every run, because of course if they let you keep it you're gonna use the fucking thing. We were running a truck with a single turbo LS, bench seat, stock suspension and hancook tires against shit that shouldn't have been legal. Either way it was fun, made it to round 3, truck had only made one previous pass before OA6 and we will be back next year with 4 cars hopefully. But they gotta adjust the classes or something. I think it'd be more fun to just do H Town Throwdown twice a year than outlaw tho

Seems to me, that, if everyone is going to go out and buy these factory "race" cars, vette's, hellcat's, AWD something or another, and call them daily's, then I see nothing wrong with the Nova. The steering on an old Deuce is terrible. I'd change it, too! The new cars are plastic or fiberglass! All steel, vin tag, full interior, pump gas, mufflers, DOT tires and heavy, sounds street to me. I think the problem is Reaper rubs people the wrong way (get over it) and the Nova is built, not bought. If ya scared, say you're scared!
