      You should ask God for everything. EVERYTHING. No matter how you feel about it, if you feel ashamed or think He won't intervene. You give Him first dibs to change the situation. All it takes is asking.
      “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
      _ Matthew 17:20-21.
      “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”
      _ Jeremiah 32:27
      “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
      _ John 14:13-17
      “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
      _ Mark 9:23

      @Splitting Time The beginning process with a different person is definitely hard..the trauma to trust again was there..but all the "wrongs" before with my 9 year ex were turned into all the "right" with this person..truly, if he's the one..he'll prove that you deserve this kind of love. After all, love is a risk..choose the right person who you're going to take the risk.

    If they leave you let them contact you. Your the prize not them. If you contact them it shows that you still want them. Stay the course of no contact it's a 💯 success rate. Either they contact you or you feel better and move on.

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  5 ปีที่แล้ว +27

      I'm not a fan of being passive. Why wait for her/him to run back to you? :-) I never said the "no contact" rule is supposed to go for weeks or months on end. I only said it's for 30 days in about 80% of my videos. Anyway getting an ex back, just like anything that's worth having, takes work, so make sure he's/she's worth it. Anyway the "no contact" rule is just the first phase. There are two more phases to getting an ex back, and the third is to rekindle/rebuild the attraction with an ex. Learn the basics here: th-cam.com/video/aeGNPBdpnsI/w-d-xo.html and to initiate communicate, this is the vid: th-cam.com/video/uN_XAgHjaFM/w-d-xo.html

    • @justinhaaff3618
      @justinhaaff3618 5 ปีที่แล้ว +57

      It's not passive in no way it's showing that you have higher value. If you reach out to them it shows they can have you back at anytime they want without any consequences and it's shows a lower value of your self. You the prize not them if they don't and can't see that then it's there lose trade up not down. Have more respect for yourself and show that your not a revolving door.Thats why you stay no contact until they decide to reach out to you they choose to leave let them work to get you back ppl value things they have to work for more than just giving it to them.

      Brad Browning what about if my ex left me and she's telling me she doesn't want any contact with me whatsoever. If I'm ignoring her won't it make it easier for her to move on since I'm giving her what she wanted?

      No joke this works I was tying to hard to get my ex back eventually I gave up a year or two went by and he’s saying he’s still in love with me and trying to get us back together. Even said we would have been married by now. But I’m so over it now and have found someone better so I find it hilarious. Another ex also the same but that was only after about 30 days of no contact. Desperation is the most unattractive trait. Men love the chase!

      Yes, acceptance is key and that may take a while depending on the individual...which is why it's important to employ the no contact rule for at least 30 days because it largely helps with that process and make the "in-denial" period shorter at least.

      You're welcome. Definitely redo the "no contact" rule and make sure you stick to it this time. But watch this first to help manage your expectations: th-cam.com/video/OzVymYnQFTk/w-d-xo.html Here's how you can tell you're doing the "no contact" rule properly: th-cam.com/video/f7zuXk-sVsI/w-d-xo.html It may help to make use of the clean slate template, which is a free version from a piece of my Ex Factor Guide. Watch this: th-cam.com/video/6K3xufEwEFg/w-d-xo.html The main goal is to bring your ex into an emotional neutral state by employing the 30-day “no contact” rule -- let your ex miss you and don't rush it. But in order to fully understand how this concept works, watch the free in-depth video on my website to learn some psychology techniques and understand how giving each other space for around a month can benefit you than otherwise, at www.breakupbrad.com

Tip to y'all - keep the power for as long as you can in a relationship. Keep him on his toes, make sure you are the one calling the shots and he is the one trying to get in contact with you and hang out with you. Im actually going through breakup as well and one helpful thing is, stop wishing and hoping that you will get back together even though that is aim. Instead think of how sorry they will be for letting you go cuz that will help you to build your self confidence and physical appearance. Also remember to wish to meet someone more wonderful and better than your ex. These mindsets will help you to pull this off better.

    I am in the very beginning of no contact and I can admit it is a struggle because I truly miss my best friend. But I also know it needed to be done and that I can not control or change anything, nor would I want to. I work everyday living in a greater version of myself because at the end of everyday I am my greatest strength and my longest commitment. It does not mean that my heart does not feel but that it knows it's own worth and sets it free. It would be wrong to hope or not hope for it to return, regardless of those emotions in time, self love and silence the understanding will supersede the feelings. 30 days feels like an eternity, but a life time of loving myself first is worth the journey to knowing at the end.

I've seen people disregard the "no contact" rule and end up destroying their chances unknowingly. This is why I recommend you to employ the FULL 30-day "no contact" rule and be mindful of the tips in the following videos to help you out: y2u.be/gUBNd6pDINM AND make sure you don't make the number one mistake here: y2u.be/1cBpNrDDHnw

      Here's this to consider: th-cam.com/video/xbDPq23YaNE/w-d-xo.html so be sure to take the free quiz at www.breakupbrad.com/quiz However, that kind of behaviour coming from your ex is somewhat expected after a breakup. That's why you ought to give it enough time where there's totally no contact between you and your ex for at least 30 days. A wide array of different emotions coming from an ex is somewhat expected when a breakup is still fresh and this includes the likelihood of your ex giving you mixed or weird signals. Watch this: y2u.be/siApAVtx8zE This is why I tell people to cut off contact for at least a month first and NOT deal with this ex. You both need to clear your minds first, all right? A breakup hurts both people in it regardless of who has done the breaking up. This is something I've discussed here, so watch it to learn a few tips to help you on how to go about it: th-cam.com/video/1kJ1ybuFIHE/w-d-xo.html

    I’ve dated narcissists before, but just recently dated one with high functioning borderline personality disorder. Made the narcissists seem like a walk in the park. BPD people will send you through the extremes of a relationship from the height of joy to soul tearing anguish and then quickly move on to do it again to someone else. They first idealize then devalue you and make you question everything about yourself. I’m pretty tough and resilient but they’re masters at tearing someone down. They will mess you up for a while so if you have gone through one of these, know it will slowly get better. Don’t try to get them back, they won’t take you and you shouldn’t want them back. Some people have unfixable flaws and it’s not your job to fix them, if you try they will hurt you harder.

      If your ex has a mental disorder like depression, bipolar disorder or the like, the most loving thing you can do is to give each other space while he/she gets help. Encourage your ex to seek treatment because clinical depression is something only a therapist specializing on this can handle, even this is outside of my scope. But I can help you how to handle things on YOUR end as you go through this difficult ordeal. I know it can be incredibly tough knowing you’ve given it your best shot, yet your partner still fails to appreciate it or is breaking up despite it being a good relationship. Anyway it's a bad idea to be friends with an ex. Consider signing up for my coaching program so I can help assess your situation clearly, look at all the other factors at play and see things you might have missed, then guide you accordingly on a regular, ongoing basis at www.breakupbrad.com/coaching

    To be honest, following Brad’s advice definitely works. I remember four years ago i was on a chase to get my ex back using whatever I could, studying yt videos, i even bought Brads paid book. I did get my ex back but only to let it fall apart, but handled it like a champ. It’s more then just learning how to get your ex back, you learn how to be independent, how to address situations and just be happy alone. There’s way more fish out there and the person is your ex for a reason; things weren’t meant to be. Follow Brad’s videos (or book) intently and you will see major results in your life as a whole.
    Hopefully this helps anyone

      Thank you for the testimony, man. And yes, seems like you mastered the way of life and I'm happy for you! :-) Being happy alone is very important in order to get your ex back so you won't come from a place of neediness and will therefore automatically just mess up things. And yes, sometimes, reunited couples get back together for good, but a few don't. Good luck on your future endeavour!

    I appreciate this video a lot! This is hands-down the best strategy possible and I would never recommend anything else to anyone. The only aspect I'd disagree with is the 30 day period. This is ridiculously short. I seriously doubt anyone can get over their ex within a month. Plus, I personally find this whole "Look at the brand new me!" very unbelievable after only 30 days. It takes time to change and heal and become this new best version of yourself. After 30 days there is no way you'll already have that toned body from the gym, no way you have already enjoyed life, dated other people, started new hobbies etc. No way. It's just 4 weeks. Yes, you might have started implementing these changes but I'd say give yourself somewhere between 6 months and a year for this to be realistic.

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey thanks! The goal of 30 days is to not get over someone but to allow adequate space and time for both of you to calm down and ponder on some things you both should be pondering about. Consequently, the progress you make throughout the process, if you do it right, should also coincide with the growth of becoming a better version of you. But the 30-day rule is just the first path because it all starts with acceptance and dedication to growth. More about that topic here: www.breakupbrad.com

      Self love is key, indeed! Regarding the "reason" though, sometimes the reason is you're both too lazy to work on it and just expect things to miraculously fix things for you. It's that or one or both people don't take accountability for their actions. There will always be issues in a relationship as there is never a perfect relationship, but there is a healthy one! But like I always say, the decision is ultimately up to you since you know your relationship and your ex better than anyone else on here. And alas, not every ex is worth all the trouble. It's up to you to decide who is worth fighting for at one of the toughest of battles you face in your relationship. Best of luck!

      Don't you recognize an opportunity when you see one? :-) Your ex is opening the lines of communication which is a perfect opportunity for you to transition into phase two. Since you've already completed the full 30-day "no contact" rule, and assuming you've done the "no contact" rule properly, then the texting tips here will be a good starter: th-cam.com/video/uN_XAgHjaFM/w-d-xo.html This means you take time focusing on the second phase and eventually the third phase when the time is right. This won’t happen overnight, of course, but it’s something you ought to continue to work on to the point where you’re gradually building attraction again. This is what my guide is for. Have you checked it out yet? It's too complicated to explain everything on here, but here's an overview of these phases and what to expect in each one: th-cam.com/video/aeGNPBdpnsI/w-d-xo.html Good luck!

    A few questions:
    - Is no contact ideal in a situation where you become friendzoned?
    - If you were literally only together for a night, but you still have strong feelings for the other person, is a no-contact period of 30 days still necessary?
    - Should you continue posting on your Instagram stories during no-contact?

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No contact is key because trust me, the last thing you'd want to be is to be friends with your ex whom you still have feelings for. For one night stands/flings, it's more often than not simply a case of you two having different goals or asking for something more than what someone else can give. And if that's the case, no amount of distancing yourself away from that person can help... so it's important to see it for what it is rather than how you want it to be. Consider moving on from this.

    I've been loving a girl since 2012,& she was married to someone else in 2016 and it's 2022,she has a child and still today I love her a lot.it was an one sided love and still it's an one sided love. She can't understand my feeling.May be she can't feel what I feel for her. She just take me as a simple boy or as a normal friend. She was my one class senior in my school.and people used to make fun on me that I love someone who is one yr senior of me.But I believe,'when love happens,it just happens, it has no condition,no certain time or age, it just happens'. And still today I love her and I will love her forever. She knows I love her a lot.I can say her that I like u,I want to don't know why can't I directly say I love you in front of her. And still I'm thinking that may be one day a miracle will happen and she will be my.
    We plan for our life. but unfortunately most of the time God has different plan.

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's good to have unconditional love for someone. The downside to that is if you don't give unconditional love back and she's obviously chosen or is already with someone else to begin with. If it's one-sided, stuff could become toxic for you real fast and I know you don't deserve that. I suggest you make efforts to get over her in order to free up space in your heart to potentially love someone else and have a healthy relationship with. That girl is not it.

    Believe me, I would still having the love of my life with me...
    There's nothing I didn't do to show my love for
    I even sacrificed myself for but it was nothing
    I changed myself to accommodate someone who never appreciated the things I did for them
    I did lot's of crazy things in the name of love
    But all my efforts goes down the drain
    There's too much danger in loving the wrong person so so much 💔
    It kills you slowly like cancer
    Bit by bit loosing your mind

      @BradBrowning  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Here's to wishing for your mother's full recovery! As to your ex, try not to worry too much. Unless you've done something really epic to mess things up or really hurt your ex, there's no reason to worry as much, really, because it could be due to the top 3 reasons I've stated on this vid: y2u.be/fjtv90o9bkI Blocking you could just be your ex’s way of coping so I wouldn’t worry too much about it if I were you, at least not initially. So give it time. If you stay blocked after months though, then that’s another story, especially if you have no other means of communication or have no mutual friends. More about that on here: th-cam.com/video/5UT92IB5ugs/w-d-xo.html Anyway social media should be the least of your concerns. Focus on all three phases and your ex may naturally unblock you, in time, as you learn to rebuild that attraction and re-attract this ex back to your life.. Here are the basics of all three phases to getting an ex back: th-cam.com/video/aeGNPBdpnsI/w-d-xo.html and social-media wise, here (but then again, don't let it become your sole focus) : th-cam.com/video/D1GpR5MApQk/w-d-xo.html Good luck!

This would also help guide you on what to do after the "no contact" rule: th-cam.com/video/BAhMrmw3Sms/w-d-xo.html Anyway there are two more phases to go through if you want an ex back, and the third is to rekindle/rebuild the attraction with an ex. I thought my marriage was going soo good. I thought we both loved each other with all our hearts. I thought we were going to be soulmates forever. We had so much fun together, and we never argued. Our children were looking at us as roll models for their relationships. We were married for 21 years. One day she bought an online game, built an online life, and built a relationship with an online player. She told me that it wasn't my fault, and that she just wanted to be alone now. She moved to the basement for 6 months before moving out. That was 2 1/2 years ago. She would come upstairs to get something once in a while. At those times I would try to find out why, or what happened. She's just say, " I just want to be alone". She'd go down to the basement and continue playing and laughing all day and every day while playing her game until she moved out. Except for our divorce hearing, I haven't seen or heard from her since she moved out. I haven't tried to text, call, or make any contact since she left. I'm still in terrible pain. I wish I could let go of the love and memories and just move on. She won't talk to her children, her siblings, or her parents, either. Have no idea what really happened.

      Great! Him reaching out is just the first step though so don't get complacent. :-) Here are the basics again: th-cam.com/video/aeGNPBdpnsI/w-d-xo.html

    I was married to my ex for 23 years. He was the love of my life. And he left me. Help.

      Sorry to hear that. Was there any talk about a divorce? You need to backtrack a bit though and see where it all started. So when did all the trouble started and what has caused it? These are my top two marriage videos which may help: y2u.be/WU0yhd3ADXU and y2u.be/W_vzHFqnasM but it's really challenging for me to know where to give you a headstart, knowing only so little of the situation... Sign up for my Mend the Marriage coaching program so I can help take a look at all the other factors at play and find out what’s really going on, monitor your situation, and guide you on a regular, ongoing basis at www.marriageguy.com/coaching

    This the second relationship I’m doing this process with. It worked with my ex I did 30 day no contact and we got back together but after a couple years we broke up again.

      What were the reasons this time? An on-and-off relationship often signifies underlying issues which have been left unaddressed for quite some time. The bottom line is your ex has significantly lost attraction. Watch what I’ve explained here and watch the entire length of the video to gain full understanding, as well as know what to do: y2u.be/E9wG_ErBQoI It’s important to rebuild the attraction naturally so your ex will be amenable to working things out, eventually. This is what my guide is for but you can also learn the basic principles of my 3R system here and watch the vid til' the end so you don't end up missing the important points: th-cam.com/video/aeGNPBdpnsI/w-d-xo.html and the golden rules here: th-cam.com/video/1kJ1ybuFIHE/w-d-xo.html

    I block her I stop all contacts. The one thing I have to stop doing what is caring about who she get in a relationship with. I was angry because she was doing picky stuff like commenting on my post knowing I was in a relationship. This video is helping

      If blocking your ex helps you heal, then do that. Although it should be a last resort.
