The Holy Qur'an gives laws and principles to abide by, it talks about the struggles to bring Islam (Peace) among an ignorant people and it also talks about a time that had not yet come into fruition. Listening to this audio, I can see why Malcolm X would never have imagined what his spiritual mentor and father was capable of. After singlehandedly increasing membership throughout the 1950s into the tens of thousands, and opening numerous mosques, Malcolm was thrown away, after years of incredibly hard and successful work, because of what he knew about THEM. If THEM had had the integrity to own his own wrongdoing, rather than scapegoat Malcolm X for knowing and being troubled by it, Malcolm likely would have stayed. THEM's unashamed lack of integrity made that impossible for Malcolm, who clearly had a thousand times more moral fiber than his spiritual leader.
Second, it's true that I wouldn't have known of Malcolm X but for THEM, but it's also true that I did not get to experience this incredible man in my lifetime in large measure because of THEM. So, whatever credit THEM can be given for giving us Malcolm X is, for me, cancelled, because of his role in taking him away.
Third, you say "a man is a man is a man." This tells me how warped your definition of a man is, and how detrimental it was that THEM lacked the integrity to admit his wrongdoing and correct himself.
