“Please Please Me” by the Bernardo Boomers, 6/15/24.

The Bernardo Boomers were (hastily) assembled for the purpose of playing a bunch of early Beatles tunes at my 60th birthday party. The makeshift band consisted of Jorge (acoustic guitar/vocals), Luis (vocals/handclaps), Charlie (vocals/handclaps), and Manny Bernardo (electric guitar), Rob Isele (vocals/handclaps), Greg Watkins (electric stand-up bass) and Paul Wilson (drums).
Prior to the performance, Jorge, Luis and Manny managed two informal rehearsals to make sure we had the basics covered. All else was done on the fly the night of the party, so please forgive the occasional sloppiness! We had a blast and so did our audience! 🤠
