So we have teenagers, elderly, black, white, asian, rich and poor looking people all gathered together singing Beatle songs. Tell me they don't transcend the globe, stood the test of time and are not the greatest band of all time. Great job guys.

Yep. You hit the nail on the head. The Beatles are, as John brilliantly put it, 'Across the Universe'. They still thrive, outside of time. There's no better compliment, to 'the boys'.

After 5 decades Beatles music is still relevant. Nothing compares to them, they will always be the biggest thing in pop music history. Not one,not any band will ever come close.

The younger kids were moving and singing along with it more than the older people,and they knew the words,the Beatles reach all ages because they were simply the best ever by miles and miles
Well, the ' older ' folks could be dealing with a bit of the forgetfulness, aka Alzheimer, or dementia..one never know...OR, inhaling too much of the good ' stuff ' back in the days, and STILL feeling the side-effects of it. lol

Great to see teenagers and twenty somethings getting into it. The Beatles had a magical quality about them and their music that will never be repeated by ANYONE.
I noticed all the young people singing. So good.
all my kids sing along to the older songs. songs that I grew up with. they were lyrically easy, unlike the crap of today that no-one will remember. but I also recall my dad saying " music? call this rubbish music? it's bloody terrible!!!"

Yes. There are many great and wonderful bands, artists, musicians etc, but The Beatles are in a class all to themselves. They are supremely universal and timeless. Unique, brilliant and transcendent.

@@FroggyTheNinja I think it's due to these performers doing Lennon/McCartney numbers. Actually, Please, please me and Help, were primarily John's songs. At this stage, George hadn't really written anything significant. That would change, of course. Ringo wasn't too keen on the writing, but an ideal drummer for the group.

There's a TH-cam video of Paul McCartney and his current group performing "Please, Please Me" live and it's so good some of the older people in the crowd literally have tears in their eyes as they remember The Beatles.

@@sngwrter49 "Please Please Me" is my favorite Beatles song, and when I found that clip, I played it FIFTY TIMES without stopping (I'm not kidding). It was so moving to see people singing, dancing and crying, remembering some very good days of their lives. Still love that song and that arrangement--the very best ever!
@@SusanSloate Awesome performance of a great song, wasn't it? I find myself going back and listening again and again from time to time (McCartney performance). For the older members of the audience, they might just remember how The Beatles were not only the hottest thing going but also how they impacted the world. And the younger ones seemed equally moved probably wondering whatever happened to making music like that. 😁

Wow! Their sound is spot on! I’m 65 and this was the music of my youth. I LOVE seeing this young people enjoying the “Beatles” just like we did back in the 60’s
It's truly amazing that 50 years on these songs still excite.
I love how the people were so into the songs, especially the women on their right. Everyone knew the lyrics, truly the most astonishing rock and roll band of all time. No one left a mark like The Beatles. And "I Want to Hold Your Hand" has got to be one of the greatest, most joyful love songs ever written. This crowd dancing and singing along proves that. You can't resist singing along when you hear it. Their tempo was perfect, very talented musicians. Sad though that I just discovered this video Sep 2019 and it's 8 years old.
After 60 years they are still able to make us feel alive and joyful. Fab 4 ever!!!

Yeah, damn good music and well performed. I would have stayed for the whole thing and tipped them everything I had in my pockets. We need more music everywhere. It boosts the human spirit and puts on a more harmonious level with everyone else. All you young performers, keep it up. You'll be the light of the world someday.

NONEXISTENT
I was almost six. Got to stay up past my bedtime to watch them on Ed Sullivan! They changed the world! For the better! Forever! The day before that show there was no such thing as a rock and roll band in America. Period! Within the week there was one starting in nearly every garage, everywhere! Including all three of my older brothers!
And honestly, I believe most all of our generations music is still being appreciated! TH-cam is full of fantastic covers of Classic Rock songs, done by great musicians and singers, young and old alike! On every instrument, and in every style imaginable! And people LOVE them! Not to mention most all of the original albums are right here as well! The 60s, 70s and even into the 80s was a magical time for art and creativity in music! In ALL genres! From London to Nashville, Memphis to Mo-Town, New York, L.A. and San Francisco!
And THAT music will live forever!
Unfortunately, the magic ran out.
The creativity dried up, and un-music seized control. Now, after 20 plus years of porn-pop and hip-hop the world is starving for REAL music again! We are WAY overdue for the Third Wave of The British Invasion! Rock On!

This is one of the best Beatles cover versions I've heard on TH-cam. You guys really nailed it.
For an amateur street band I do agree...But for a professional cover band, in my opinion, The Fab Four are #1 by far.. ..They are just about the closest thing you'll get to the real Beatles. Even Gavin Ping, who does George Harrison was actually born in Liverpool..and look spot on like the real George....You can find them all over TH-cam as well..
Rain - a Broadway production - is also incredible. But these guys are really good!
GuyNoirxyz they sound really good- if I was 90 miles away at that subway station, I'd be grooving and cheering them. I hope these talented musicians get a record deal and get to tour- you know how it begins- the small clubs- recognition by a major band, and the are the opening act as their special guests, and they start writing own tunes.
That's how bands like Greeta Van Fleet started- with Led Zeppelin's approval.

Growing up in the 60's, my parents recognized the Beatles and liked several of their songs. That's alot more than what I can say about current music.
I absolutely love it when I see the younger generation having fun with this music .. there is hope after all
