    but Canon M system is officially dead. A R50 would be a better choice. Even though there are fewer aps-c lens options available in RF mount for now, is the same case in EF-M Mount. Either you pick the R50 or the M50, you will need lens adapters in both

      Right. I heard they already discontinued EOS-M system. M50 is still great for beginners but If they are thinking of getting to shoot seriously in the future then an R50 is a good choice.

    M50 has no future. There isnt enough choices for lens. You just stuck in specific lenses and the prices are significantly high compared to other lens. I have M50 Mark II and I would not have bought if I knew this reality.

      I couldn't agree more. Lens options are one of the factors when I'm choosing a camera.
