All of this video is basically correct. The history is important to know because you will be asked a couple of questions during the interview about the founders and years it started etc. One very big NO NO when interviewing...do NOT send in your information, resume' etc. in a FedEx envelope - yes it has been done. Understand their management structure...you are a manager or you are a pilot...period and you don't go into management for a while then back to the line...ever. The flying is tough as far as body clock factors but the insurance is fantastic, the pay is now very good, and the in house union - The Independent Pilots Association is the best in the industry. I hired on there in 1988 and retired after 30 years.
