Who else finds it hilarious that he's telling Richie "to plug in the guitar and stand there next to Phil and John [Shanks!]..." He does not get it, does he?
I think what’s stopping Richie going back is Shanks. That was the big blow for him when you watch the documentary. There’s no beef with Phil X as he just picked up the phone when Jon needed a guitarist. Having Shanks play the key guitar parts on the “what about now” album hurt Richie.
@@ronaldmcdonald6064 exactly, not sure why people keep defending him. Jon is the band and knows it, so he aint putting his life on hold too wait for richie when others could step in.
@@alexanderlane6007 If Shanks sucks so bad then how come every Bon Jovi album since Have A Nice Day has gone multi platinum? As a producer he's doing something right.
I was sure there was a problem with Shanks, he was more than a producer and Richie was fed up that his job was given to someone else. Maybe he showed up late, maybe he had to take care of his daughter but his situation in the band left him disillusioned. WHAT ABOUT NOW was not a very good record and felt more like a solo record.
Shanks muscled him out it’s been downhill ever since shanks got involved with that band. I always had a feeling that was the reason he left, he had no creative input in the band so he left, probably didn’t like the direction shanks took the band in. I have no idea what Jon sees in that guy. I doubt very much that Richie is going to pull up a guitar next to shanks and Phil X considering that’s the reason he left in the first place
Bon Jovi is one of the mist hardest worker I have ever seen. He is humble and a good guy from what I can tell. I do not feel he has lied about anything. He is one of the best petformers I hBe ever seen too. Rock on Bon Jovi.
Team Richie present, no doubt Jon hired Shanks so he didn't have to share credits, 3 or 4 really bad albums , they all sound pop and similar , i dont know how many, i stopped listening to them since Richie left, and this is a true fan talkingl
Actually Jon said Richie would be “an incredible complEment”, meaning a great addition… that he and Richie would work well together. I do think that Jon can be shady but I don’t think that’s what he was doing there.
Porque bon jovi siempre tira los trapitos sucios a richie sambora y richie nunca a hablado mal de jon ahii se ve que jon nunca fue un buen amigo si por richie hoy todo el mundo te conoce jon

F John Shanks. he destroyed the band.
Wow, you nailed it, 1000000%
Or, maybe he does, and doesn't care. Which is why I believe Richie left in the first place.
Not many people get that.
Definitely
Oh he gets it. I think he said what he said, the way he said it, very purposely.

Jon Bon Jovi: let’s replace Sambora with Shanks
Sambora: leaving the band
Jon Bon Jovi: wow, why?
Ask yourself why. His voice lose is called karma.
it wasnt that simple.
richie would show up late, he wouldnt show up at all, and the work had to get done.

Jon let Shanks write the album without Richie, so Richie left the band ..
Shanks sucks so bad
That's kind of messed up.

John Shanks is the worse movement for Bon Jovi history.
How So?

Real Life happens, we appreciate you all 🎸
I hope that Richie decides to perform with then again soon.
dont think his ego will allow it now.

Lo que me molesto es siempre que nunca dicen lo grande que es richie con la guitarra
I want to hear that magic again in real time.❤They sound so good together.
Jon bon jovi tiene que sacar jhon shank para que richie vuelva otra ve el problema es shank
Exacto, llevan tres álbumes remalos desde q Shanks está ahí, es música como de cualquier cantante pop de 🤬
Your the one
Wish you was not married ❤😊

El malo es richie porque el tiene que decir que fue por shanks que el se fue y punto
Bon Jovi saying Richie would be, "a great compliment," is such a passive aggressive way for Bon Jovi to flex his ego.
