I own Altroz XZ petrol, less pick up, engine not refined also, but I drive at 70-90 and get 22-23 mileage... And Car is safe too so no problem 😌❤️

He said steering & build quality is the only good thing in Altroz but in reality,
Pros:-
1. Light & responsive steering (which gets hard with speed on highways & gives more confidence)
2. Light clutch
3. Moderately smooth gear shifting
4. Aerodynamic shape
5. Wiper is visible from inside because it is tilted a bit, to cover more area of windshield.
6. Great comfort & space
7. Best in the segment suspension (Tata is popular for good suspension in all its cars)
8. Good fuel efficiency (20-21kmpl on highways)
9. Beautiful & sexy look. Believe me people still check out my Altroz (gold color)
10. & most importantly, Adorable high speed stability
Cons:-
1. Poor pickup in 1st gear
2. Vibrations & engine noise

@@dr.chintanganatra6211 I have petrol. Performance of Altroz diesel is better. If you want to go with petrol, I'd suggest you to first go for a test drive, because it has poor pickup & power lag which might irritate you if you are an enthusiast.
@@rupamnimje5181 My run is not much. I want car which has less nvh levels. I bought creta petrol for that...and i love it. After 1 and half year run, the performance has improved and pickup has increased than it was when i bought..

I am an XZ petrol owner, I don't think anyone will ever regret buying this beauty it's been a year with this car and I have driven 13k kms. It might not be as smooth at 1st gear like baleno Or i 20 but it seems in control even at 120 kmph unlike maruti cars.

Using altroz xz 1.5 diesel.
Not the best in refinement or fit in finish. But very Comfortable, high speed stability is superb, have good space, suspension is great, music system is simply awesome, getting good mileage (23-25) on highway and about 17-20 in city. Highest speed achieved by me is between 170-180 (couldn't see the meter over 170 due to high speed) Overall a master piece diesel mechine. Fully satisfied.

altroz is still the best looking hatchback in the market it's sharp design.
Using Tata Altoz Diesel XZ+ (New Dec 2021 model) for last 8 months, very steady in high pick up, I even drove at a speed of 169 Kmph for 15 mins straight, no issue in maneuvering.......atleast diesel engine is not at all lagging apart from 1st gear......... reached 98 Kmph in 3rd gear even......satisfied overall.

Tata ki cars ki main batata hun...
1. Car Stable rehti hai.. chippak kar chalti hai highways par.
2. Steering is love.
3. Car confidence deti hai because it's safe and feels good.
4. Seating comfort is good.
5. Music system is too good.
6. Orvms are good.
7. Mileage is good because of 3 cylinders.
8. Multiple drive modes.
Finally once you'll own a Tata car you won't be satisfied with any other car chahe engine kitni bhi refined kyu naa ho.
I have owned 3 tata cars till now. My current car is Tigor XT BS4 giving mileage of 20-28, 5 souls on-board with AC running on highways.

Like vibrations is still there very slight but it is what it is.
Cabin has some noise, but Harman saves you 👍.
Lag thodi si hai but people can live with it... Panje dabao but gear shift bhi karna hoga for quick overtake rpm tann jaati hai aache se and it does the job.
Overall If you own it you'll love it. ❤️
Bro trust me, even if the engine has noise the noise isolation is top notch in tata altroz, if the same engine was offered in any other car then even harman could have saved them.

Being a altroz owner and almost driven every other car. It has one of the best incabin noise isolation. It is a very heavy car thats why the tiny engine struggles a bit. 3+ years of ownership still in love with my car
Yes. Diesel version 1.5 I am loving it bro. Engine is powerful. Not for drag racing. Best hatchback in india at least.

Motoroctan is the youtube channel reviewed altroz by driving it in two trips to Delhi with 1000km and to Goa also...They have mentioned various points about altroz and it's performance and it's prons and cons also...

Polo was a good car but no way as good as some fanboys have made it look! Coz of this illogical fanboyism VW thinks they can dump anything in India and ppl will praise it.
They didn’t even try with the new Polo. All the actual legendary status the Polo got was due to the mod community. Atleast Hyundai is trying to give something diff here. Previously only Fiat with the Abarth & Ford with the Figo sport tried. VW was busy with being the one eyed king in a blind kingdom.
VW had a great car in 2010-15 after that they just stopped giving it meaningful upgrades. The DSG was problematic, but in VW fashion they continued to dump it here for many gullible peeps to have buyers remorse. Then crucially they didn’t even upgrade the issue prone suspension setup which would give up within 60-80k for many. Infact later in it’s cycle the Polo was getting worse components. The less said abt the “GT” the better, the laziness in it’s execution was evident.
Yes it is a safer car, but the chassis was not done justice by VW one bit. Just like how Tata is handling the Altroz today (VW was atleast better than Tata though). The engine is a gem agreed but it was nowhere as good a car on the whole in its stock form as is made out to be by common folks.

I own altroz XT petrol, and it's amezing in drive only cabin noise, gear lever is hard and vibration in 1st gear , rest it's amazing car to driver and safety

Agar mujhe wo altroz/punch se zyada mileage de to bhi uski wo 2.5 lakh recover karne me mujhe 25 saal lag jaenge. Not worth it. Ha agar proper mileage chahiye yo lelo baleno. But brezza sirf naam ki hai. Kifayati to altroz/baleno hi hai. Ye badi suv wale nahi mante.

But some points I've noticed ki, Jo steering mein cover laga hai, uske bajah se horn nahi press ho pati he... agar Bina cover laga hua steering mein horn press karoge to koi bahar ka sound nahi hota hey, and pickup ka issue petrol gaadi mein hai...
Yeh Mera experience hai ki, Maine v Altroz Diesel liya hun (XM+), last Dec-2022 mein liya hun and Jo pick up hey mileage k saath wo to Altroz diesel owner hi bata sakte hain.... ek hi problem hai ki thoda engine sound jyada hai, but baaki sab pura jabardast....

You will never get Tata market reasearch, Tata is a company which produce aircraft component to chemicals everything nowdays.
They have every tech but any product features and usability depends on customer potential.
Altroz is a hatchback, still it cost more tha. 10 lacs on road, how many Indian buyers are ready to buy it with 12 lac with 4 cylinder enginer ?
If buyer are looking for a car to travel from point-A to B with a bit upper edge on safety then he still choose Tata.
In India no one is ready to buy Hatchback with more than 12 lac and Nexon (which is 3 cylinder now and top model goes to 16 lac on road) with 20 lacs.
It's all about buyers potential.
Market is driven from buyers potential, Volvo gives best cars but this is out of reach of a common Indian, hope you get it.

This model has 14 inches wheel so no stable I have 16 inches model it is very good and new models are refined and smooth gears
I drove Chennai to rameshwaram, then to pondicherry, then back to Chennai. Although 2021 xz model gave 25 to 27 kmpl mileage. Plus the drive was super sooth and I did not get tried at all in 13 hrs drive in a day.

Breeza chalane waale toh vibration ki baat naa hi kare toh acha hai. Koi gear mei vibration nahi hai. Engine bhi sahi hi hai, uski tuning as a city commuter hi hai. Agar turbo engine chahiye toh mileage ko bhool jao phir.
bhai mujhe bhi iska diesel engine bhi koi khaas ni laga. lag hai. sach main. wo punch nahi milta jo milna chaahiye. uper se iska driver cabin chota hai compare to baleno. 6 feet hu main mujhe to baithna mushkil laga full seat peeche karke bethna padha

Everything was good bhaiya. I'm not sure about how XE performs but I have XT (Dark Edition) and it gives suberb performance. Engine give good feedback everytime. If you can try any model of XT and above then please let us know how you feel about it.

Sir if u compare a 3 cylinder VW car price and Tata car price, u will see minimum 10% to 15% difference in price. So yes tata has to compromise in refinement if it wants to provide A 5star built car at low price.
Suzuki/Hyundai can give refined engines at less Price bcos they compromise on build quality.
I would always choose safety over engine refinement.. my friend has a 2016 tiago Xz petrol driven 143000kms which is still in good condition and now its resale value is pegged at 4.20lakhs which is fantastic

Using XT petrol. There is no vibration or cabin noise while running altroz till 100 speed.
Pata nai baki car ke bare me, mai bolero own karta tha, lekin 1 year se altroz chala raha hu, aur mujhe na speed ki sikayat hai na mileage ka , altroz xt petrol use kar raha hu pura traffic me hi chalta hai gaadi , mileage 12-15 deta hai, comfort aur space ka koi sikayat nai. Bhai ek baar accident bhi hua tha lekin usme bhi achcha performance tha...gaadi mast hai .

see first thing is if you are buying a car of this segment you cant anyways flaunt it. it is a family car with basic things and all the cars in this segment offer the same thing, mostly people travel in city scenario and you dont need speed, but definitely you need safety all the time.
i dont know why you expect the car to accelerate 150 which is not made for that i dont know what punch you need in a car costing 6 lacs, you are driving base model. for that you need honda city atleast. you cant expect same thing from every product. even i20 is far more expensive than this car.

If tata is so much going for safety and it is safe, then why are they putting those autorickshaw like 14inch tires on lower trims on such a heavy car?? They are definitely gonna ruin the braking power and stability at high speed. Shouldn't car reviewers mention this to Tata??
I don't think it's an honest review. Ye gaddi apne price point pe achi hai bohot. Har gaddi me thodi kamiya to niklengi hi bhaisahab par Altroz me itne issues nahi hai jitna ye dikha rahe hai. Ye 4/5 seater hatchback se aap fortuner wali apeksha rakhoge to dikkat hogi. Waise thoda vibration hai gaddi me par wo thik hai utna chalta hai. Overall hum 2 saal se chala rahe hai mast hai car. 👍
Cabin noise is persistent in Tata cars. I had Indica Xeta long ago, not dared to buy another Tata after that.

And Altroz ka ground clearance 165 mm hai.

You are always trying to defame Indian cars. Altroz may not be best car in the world, but it is an Indian car made by an Indian company and as Indians we should be proud of it. Foreign companies like Suzuki and Hundai have killed lakhs of Indian by selling cheap and unsafe cars.

Power is not less in altroz. It's all about the driving . In Tata, you need to shift gears after getting required speed.

Why are people still buying punch which is by the way the top selling car? I guess this refinement thing is very overhyped. Tata engines also last compared to Hyundai or Maruti, so there may not be a clear relationship between engine longevity and nvh level.
