      I love Malaysian food which include Nasi and noodle varities from each of the States. Also certain type of traditional kuih and fusion food like Char Kuey Teow and roti canai. Nevertheless I fancy Western food, Arabic food and even Indonesian food whenever it is available.

      @Yasin_Affandi hmm. Good question. From what I've had so far, I really like the smokey flavor of char away teow. How about you?

      @@Livingabroadalex Wonderful. Thank you for sharing your favorite Malaysian dish. Yes, char kway teow is indeed one of my favorites dishes. However, my No. 1 comfort food in Malaysia is nasi lemak along the other rice dishes like nasi ayam, nasi kukus, nasi minyak, nasi tomato, nasi briyani, nasi dagang, nasi kerabu and the long list of food goes on and on, hehe. Enjoy your weekend. 😀

    Selamat Pagi (in the US). I'm an American, and I've been to Malaysia twice, but I was in KK. I only had layovers in KL. I now wish I would have planned differently to explore KL. The food is amazing, and while I was in KK, I learned to cook many of the dishes, including Nasi Lemak, mee goreng, and chicken satay with peanut sauce All three of my favs. I'm enjoying your videos. Terima kasih 😊

    The most distinctive feature of Malaysia, in my opinion, is its population, which is made up of members of the three primary ethnic groups that distinguish Malaysia from its neighbours: Malays, Chinese, and Indians. Unlike other countries in Southeast Asia, every ethnic group is free to practise their own religion, speak their own language, and continue to maintain their unique cuisine. This is due to the fact that, we favour integration policy over assimilation policy. You don't have to go to India since there is a little India right here. You don't have to fly to China to get a glimpse of the country since a China Town is here. Malaysia is therefore truly Asia.

    The best reason to visit Malaysia is food. If you like authentic indian food Malaysia has the answer. Once you tried roti canai you will want to eat every day. The best roti canai in the world only can be found in Malaysia.

      In Malaysia U don't have to worry. Just alert the Chinese restaurant. Only Chinese restaurant served pork. Others not. Cos Malaysia is Muslim country.

      @Yasin_Affandi 19 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@mizitige Ok. I think you may be right. Some places may sell good nasi lemak, and few places do sell not so good nasi lemak. It all depends where you eat the nasi lemak. My bad experience eating nasi lemak is at one of the mamak, Indian Muslim restaurants. Most of my experience eating nasi lemak whether from a cafe, restaurant or from the street side vendors, or even at a 5 star hotel, all have been very good. It's all the same with the other Malaysian street food, some places provide good food, good experience, well few places do sell mediocre food, mediocre experience, leaving you with nothing special. Therefore, a little bit of research might save your day and value for money.

      U need to see the origin of the food if U buy nasi lemak go to Malay hawker. Don't go to mamak. But yes. Some also not good. Tips. Next time U see local if more local eats mean that place is good. And don't trust marketing in viral.
