MV Server from Sinking till ending her days

- Here some pictures and video's clipped together showing the "MV Server" from timew of sinking in Norway, over being salvaged, towed to Esbjerg, emptied out, beached and recycled.
The section contained some 6500 ton of steel, and had app. 275 cbm heavy fuel remaining in her tanks at arrival. The tank sections where cleaned throughly and the recycling process whent smooth giving work for SMEDEGAARDEN for 2 3/4 month.

@throwerofturds The vessel ran aground during a storm and broke in half... rear part of vessel, eng. room with wheelhouse and first cargo hold sank and was not salvaged.... thereby reduction of tonnage to be recycled. The grounding happened when the vessel was fully in operation

The actual demol. process took 8 weeks, because she caused us some problems in getting up on the slipway as being broken in half.

@cornishrob123 condesa, i don't tthink so... maybe previous name, but at the time of her sinking, the name of the vessel were "Server"
That Scania T trailer truck has no problem pulling that large hatch from that bulk carrier.
@nemesis478 i cannot remember from where i got the music, so i cannot help you with artist name. i think i actually got it from the possibilities of you tube as music for free... i'll do some research and revert if i find out something
Well, almost each vessel "dies" the same way, and it is normal... But, nevertheless, it's awful (
@Watsupwiya Nope, special methods was used, which cannot be clarified here... but as you see, she comes in beautifully in straight position... i know the game,and so do they....

was it all done with shears ? i reckon 8 weeks is very good time .

did you use torches at all .? it looks like it was shears for the majority of the work . what kind of shear do you favor ?
